It seems to be a good receiver. It is a little under powered. Distortion is evident when the volume is above 50%. Also, the directions of setting yup Wifi are not very user friendly.

Was going to upgrade my home system, had a older denon, so I patiently waited for the 2023 model to come out so when the 770h came out I waited till Black Friday sale. Bought, took home, hooked up and went through all the procedures which takes time and lots of work. After using it for several weeks I could not get it to come on with the TV, I had to manually turn the TV speakers to receiver 7 speaker system, and would not do it automatically. I'm sure not explaining this but believe me I've owned half dozen surround systems and know what I want. The operating system has changed in the 770h vs my old 1500h. After wrestling with receiver I finally gave up and took back. Customer assistance weather geek or denon has been severely degraded, I'm sure due to COVID. Even though my 1500h also gave me hiccups it works way better than the new denon models. It's sounds and work satisfactory.

I wanted to come up a notch in quality and performance in my home theater. This Denon is fantastic! I love that there is a great choice of settings and adjustments. I am completely happy with it!

Deent reciever and love the atmos but it recently just started blacking out with video on both the apple tv and the xbox after not having any issues with it. Tried swapping cables and everything - i think something is wrong with the HDMI board and it’s a shame because I just got this a few weeks ago.

I bought 2 tuners, excellent produc,t with easy installation and I would strogly recomend this product. Great Price...Great value..
