The quality of the look and the functionality of this receiver is just immaculate. Been shopping around and found that this is the best one for the home theater system that I have for a 77 inch LG on the wall and in-wall ceiling speakers. Still no subwoofer yet, but don't think I really need one because this receiver just delivers.

Easy Set Up And Operation …. Sharp Looking ….. Quality Sound

Everything works fine. The power output is lower than my old reciecer contrary to what the specs say. All in all does the job of connectint multiple high refresh rate computers to my tv. Would recommend!

I bought this due to all other receivers in the price range being sold out completely during the Black Friday week. This just appeared and I bought it blindly. I’m happy I did. Dolby Atmos sounds Amazing and Dolby Digital sounds great. I was on the fence because it only advertises it to work with 4K at 120 Hz and 8k pass through. I have a 60 Hz 4K Sony 750H 75 Inch TV and it works perfect with no complications! So if you have a 4K 60 Hz tv and am thinking about upgrading in the future to 4K 120 hz or 8k , this is a great Receiver for you. Easy setup, music services simple to use but will have to use the app HEOS . So many choices to use, seriously! AVR remote is the app to control the receiver from your phone which is nice. Very clear and simple setup assistance through the Denon Receiver guide on the tv if you never have set up a receiver before. I would recommended it as a mid grade receiver due to cost and options provided.

Purchased to replace older (over 15 years) Yamaha receiver. Noticed a much cleaner and better sound than my old Yamaha, but this may be due to latest technology. Easy to balance using microphone. Glad I made the purchase.

Wow. The Denon receiver is one of my best purchases I have made lately. The calibration program for the surround system speakers is incredible. The speakers I have have never sounded as good as they do, now. I love my "new" surround system!

Outstanding Performance! Zone 1 runs our 5.1 surround sound system and zone 2 can blast the game outside on the back patio while I grill same channel or separate music from zone 1 in the house. Excellent sound…

Sound field separation is very good using it in a 5.1 Bose setup. I like the six HDMI ports with 4K pass through. I had to alter the settings after I used their microphone set-up procedure. I upped the bass some and changed other things to make the center speaker more prominent for voice dialog, as my wife is somewhat hard of hearing. I would have rated it 5 stars if the remote was lit. I bought this unit to replace an older Pioneer AVR that only had 1080 HD pass-through with 4 ports. I think this unit is a good price based on what you get.

No issues at all. Sound good. Easy to follow instructions. And Heos app is great. Power is enough for a small living room.

Sound quality is excellent, set up was easy and straightforward. The HEOS works great, I can turn music on and off and change songs/streaming services anywhere in my house. The only minor complaint is that I would prefer a nicer on screen menu program and an easier way to adjust specific speakers such as the center speaker or subwoofer without having to adjust everything.

I read a fair bit of literature and messages boards before making this purchase. It was where quality and pricw intersected for me and its been great. Loved the audio calibration process as well.

Had another brand that promised 120Hz, in the end I was supposed to ship it back for a new board if I wanted it to work. The box on the old unit said it only needed a future firmware update, and it's on my floor now and will be fine in my garage. This unit (Denon) literally makes the old one sound awful. The surround is amazing! The 120Hz pass-through and even upscaling is remarkable. Easy setup, incredible separation. I have not found anything on this unit I do not like. The sound is comparable to much more expensive units. VERY PLEASED!

I should have replaced my receiver months ago. This Denon has improved the picture quality on the TV, improved the sound quality and allowed me to tune in to radio!

Sounds great, app make life so much easier than the DOS menus in their older equipment. Definitely able to get concert loud sound without losing any audio quality

Quality product at a competitive price. Replaced a Yamaha and later a Sony and so far has been superior to both previous entertainment center amps.

Great unit delivers for the money. Only fault I see is the HEOS and Denon App is a bit wonky needing reset often.

Very good receiver at a good value with ability to handle 8k when the tech is actually accessible. Unfortunate everything isn't even accessible at 4k yet. Just a few DVDs.

Happy with it so far. Its installed and now have all speakers TV and DVD connected and working. Had Tech support hook it all up but seemed pretty straight forward.

So far, great! Replaced a previous 7.2 Denon with this one. Was in the S series, and had a few issues with it. Went into this X series… great improvement in sound!
