Amazing sound clarity and setup . Value for money

Sound quality is great, but the features, menus, etc are hard to navigate. It even feels a little glitchy to get some menus to even show up. Overall, very happy though.

Denon, so it's top-drawer. One quirk: switching between sources sometimes gives you video without audio for a short time. It's a known Denon attribute.

I purchased this receiver mainly for the HDMI 2.1 capabilities. My previous Denon receiver from 2017 was limited by HDMI 2.0. Very simple setup and it sounds great. No complaints! I’m very pleased so far.

the sound is excellent, connection wireless is easy. you need to be familiar with basic of sound to get the best of this amplifier. I'm frustrated bc Denon set up didn't allow me to create a separate zone, you need the secondary app in your cell to get the best of this model. I'm still trying to split the sound 5.1 inside house and two in the yard.

First time using a Denon AV Receiver. Couldn't be more happy with the sound. The sale person at the store recommended the receiver. Great choice. I'm returning back for more...

So far so good, pretty simple to utilize and adapt for various sounds and situations. Denon makes a good product and overall very happy with it so far.

This is my third Denon. The first one I bought it 20 years ago and still performs. I'm upgrading to this model for the air-play, 4K and audio improvements.

This replaced my Pioneer VSX-821. Very easy to set up. Sound quality is great. So far Very happy with this unit. Now I just need new speakers to go with it.

Online description was informative and accurate. Order pickup in store was easy. Pickup Associate was quick & friendly. Very easy purchase and very satisfied with this Denon receiver.

In house Geek Squad setup. Works well and provides 4K for the TV while directing sound to 5.1 speakers and zone 2 speakers. Volume control uing remote is not smooth and has to be clicked up and down. Using zone 2 is easier with HEOS App (iPhone in my case). I have adjusted settings based on on-line manual and other suggestions. Denon customer care is also very helpful.

Excellent reciever especially equipped with a klipsch surround system. This is a great update from my last Denon I had.

This thing is awesome. I have a good sized living room and the AVR-X1800H supplies PLENTY of power and volume. Setting up the microphone with the included tripod to balance the speakers to the room was super easy and the room never sounded better. Highly recommend

good quality sound, once I figured out how to switch from radio to tv I have found it most excellent.

Solid and elegantly designed unit. Easy hook-up, which is important so as to not scare off those less capable of that routine. Clear and capable sound. All in all worthy of the four star rating.

Great receiver with enough power for a large room with multiple speakers. Compact depth of receiver is excellent to fit inside a TV console with limited depth. The QR code links to Heos is great to access music via streaming and set up was very easy.

Had it a few weeks now and it works great. Excellent sound and flexible with various input sources. We're using it for 5.1 sound. The two things that I would complain about are (1) the audio setup wizard was a bit too rigid. I had to manually set things for my 5.1 setup. It kept wanting to calibrate 7 speakers in addition to my sub and annoyed me. (2) The volume adjustment is slow...significantly slower than my previous Marantz receiver.

Far exceeded my expectations as far as ease of use as well as sound clarity. Absolutely love it!
