This is an excellent AV Receiver and at a great price point
for 7.2 channels.

For the basic functionality, it's good. But it doesn't have the menu options for connecting the 2nd sub for the 7.2 setup. Even though we can manually connect a 2nd sub, the power seems to have split between them and doesn't produce good lows. The volume control also seems to be a bit off, as with a single tap it variates like 1~8 units (at times)
Switching between the inputs also sometimes shows blank screen for few secs, but not sure if it's about the hdmi output ports or the input ports on the Benq projector

Good value. Plenty enough power for the room size and to drive my Thiels. Pretty easy to set up but be sure to have your phone and pad handy; patience too.

The Denon AVR x1800H has been a great receiver! I have a 5.1 system with in ceiling speakers and two speakers out back and this works perfectly! The setup is easy and switching between zones works well too.
Thank you, Noah. We greatly appreciate your feedback on our Denon AVR-X1800H receiver. We hope it brings you years of entertainment pleasure. Happy listening, Denon.

I’m no audio expert, but I started with this power house after deciding the level of surround sound speaker setup. Definitely worth every penny, and it’s options make it a boss. If you’re thinking about a receiver purchase, you better put this one in the must see category

Love this receiver. Super easy to program and wire surround speakers. I actually mic d up speaker position and it caught it. Makes sure your surround is dialed in. Highly recommend this Denon receiver.

Great receiver, what a difference our old receiver was over 20 years old a Kenwood. We hooked it up to our new Sony Bravia8 Google TV. The sound is great!

I wasn't looking for a super high-end receiver since I couldn't tell the difference when I listened to some of the others.
It more than handles my surround sound TV and audio needs.

Great home theater replacement receiver. Had an older Denon unit that the HDMI jack for the monitor went bad. Moved from 5.1 to 7.2 and it sounds great. Very decent for the price.

Using with Comcast 4k box and Samsung S90D OLED tv. Set-up between the AVR and TV was very difficult to get TV to recognize the AVR,
Once finally detected by the tv, sometimes there are time delay issue's depending on the sound source from the Comcast box. Very frustrating but may not be AVR’s problem and could because of the limited sound choices offered by Samsung.
