Had an older Denon unit that the HDMI jack for the monitor went bad. Moved from 5.1 to 7.2 and it sounds great. Very decent for the price.

Set-up between the AVR and TV was very difficult to get TV to recognize the AVR, Once finally detected by the tv, sometimes there are time delay issue's depending on the sound source from the Comcast box. Very frustrating but may not be AVR’s problem and could because of the limited sound choices offered by Samsung.

This looks like a great option without breaking the bank. Only time will tell if it holds up like my 13 year old Pioneer that is atill going strong.

New Video Qualified Sound System

With all of today's technologies, setup and use should be simplified. This isn't. Honestly, technology needs to take a step back and become more user friendly with options to NOT have to take everything online for yse of features.
