    It came damaged, it would not turn on. I returned it. I plan to buy another of the same model as the specs are great.

    CEC would not play Nice with Samsung 4K QLEDTV

    HEOS didnt perform correctly in app, Had to manually connect via Wi-Fi to Program Reciever, could never get zone2 condig to work, besides turning of anynet+ on Samsung and adjusting HDMI singal levels would randomly drop HDMI connectoin to TV Samsung would no longer se cable box signal through AVR TV out HDMI connection.. Have read others have ad this problem with Denon to Samsung configs. Never was able to get HEOS APP to work, Google play store shows many un happy woth reviews

    Not a happy loyal Best Buy customer

    Stopped working withing a week, you all installed through Geek Squad and coundnt come out for a week. Consequently no warranty. So now I have receiver that doesnt work and Best Buy won't replace. So i am left to work through Denon in New Jersey to attempt to repair/replace a brand new $750 receiver. Very disappointed in Best Buy customer service on this one.

    Greek squad Could not get remote to work. would not turn the TV on and off, it would work one time and stop. FM RADIO didn't work at all. To pay that kind of money i would not recommend

      Hello. The CEC (HDMI Control) function in the menu of the AVR-X1800H has customizable settings for use with communications with HDMI connected sources. How well FM Radio works is down to how good the reception is where the AVR is located, and also to do with how effective the antenna is in that location. Due to available signal compromises, some locations will require an antenna upgrade. The AVR-X1800H is a HEOS-equipped AVR, which means listening to FM radio over the internet can be done and is able to provide a more reliable feed than analog FM radio frequencies. denon

    The box looked like someone hit it hard with a baseball bat. I did not accept it.

    The function is great. Hooking up was OK. There is some sort of acceleration on the volume control that is a little annoying. I think this can be changed during setup.

    Stopped working blinking red light

    Worked for two weeks then cut off while watching movies. Keeps cutting on and off. Not on or inclosed on a book shelf, has sufficient space for air. Has ita own center piece. I shut it down, remove all speaker wire and it still wouldn’t come back on. WOW!!!!

      Hello. Sorry to learn of this inconvenience. If breathability isn't an issue (minimum 6" clearance above the AVR-X1800H), an AVR is most likely to shut down if there is a stray strand of speaker wire either at the speaker or the AVR rear panel end shorting something out (always worth re-doing all your speaker connectivity if you have this symptom), or it could be the speakers in use offer too great a load for the AVR in use.
