It appears to be a great AVR with enough power and flexibility for blue tooth applications and other features needed but will know best once I integrate it into the sound system

I am pleased with the power and sound from this Denon unit. It replaced an older unit and the interface has improved and HDMI CEC is a great addition making it possible to close our cabinets and control all the aspects of our new unit. The service and setup from Geek Squad was efficient and we are enjoying the new receiver.

Sound, installation, HEOS, TV compatibility and power all 5 stars.
I have found that streaming music to my receiver causes a few seconds of skipping every few minutes. This completely resolves if the TV is on.
Spoke to Denon and BestBuy directly and initially returned the first unit I purchased and reinstalled another one, with the exact same problem.

This one's loaded with features! The sound is crisp and clean. I'm getting ready to purchase the HEOS speakers to add another dimension to my listening pleasure. The Bluetooth option is another feature that allows for playing a long list of smooth jazz favorites throughout the day. I'm still learning to navigate through all the options, but I am sure glad I bought it!!

Bought this in combination with an LG G4. This receiver can handle anything you can throw at it! Lots of power with clean, crisp sound. Pass through 4K/8K for future proofing. This thing is a beast!

I bought this as an open box purchase. They were dismantling the home theater display room at my store. This was the last receiver available. I was looking to replace a 20 year old Pioneer Elite receiver. I’m amazed at what 20 years of technology was able to produce. I was also happy to part with coax and optical cables to transfer sound to the receiver. This receiver is great for the price paid. Easy calibration steps at install. Sounds great when playing movies (most of our entertainment). I would definitively consider Denton for future purchases. Note: when buying open box items, ensure you have all the critical parts before leaving. I was able to return to get the mic setup. I had to order the wireless antennae’s from Amazon. No big deal.

I read lots of reviews and finally decided on the Denon AVR-X2800H. I have this receiver connected to a Samsung 75" QLED tv with B&W speakers. The set up was simple and did not run into any issues. The sound quality is phenomenal (a good share of that has to do with the quality of your speakers) and I am very happy with this purchase.

The sound quality being sent out is very clean and crisp. The amount of HDMI in is good for most needs. I have several game systems connected. It is easy to set up the speakers. The sound test to correct for the room you are in is easy to follow.

I upgraded from a Sony Receiver and immediately noticed the Denon difference. Setup is simple, but complex enough with the Audyssey microphone, that the sound is just incredible by comparison; even with the same speakers! Can’t recommend this receiver or this brand enough.
Thank you for taking the time to express your satisfaction with the Denon AVR-X2800H receiver. We're delighted to hear your thoughts on its performance and features. Your feedback is invaluable to us as we strive to provide the best audio experience possible.
Sincerely, Denon

This is my second Denon X2800. It’s an excellent product for home theater. Probably more than I need but simple to set up and works with my hardware. Good price point.

As a Best Buy member I was able to purchase for the same price as denon offered as a refurbished option!

Top rated Dolby Atmos 7.2 receiver with plenty of power to run my 7.1 system. The remote feels cheap without a solid feel to each click of a button. My older receiver had direct access to the receiver with controls right on the receiver that made adjustments much easier. I purchase this receiver due o reviews and the recommendation of my Best Buy salesperson.

I really like this AVR and wish I would have upgraded to a X-4700 or x-6700 whe they were available - this has some limitations related to the version of Audessey but overall it was the value buy with the most features per dollar. Good sound, enough connections for me -
