The Denon receiver replaced a faulty Yamaha receiver. My wife and I noticed an immediate improvement in our one year old 65” Sony OLED TV in picture quality and overall performance.

Once it was dialed in with the help of Geek Squad tech, my home theatre sounds great !

Decided to upgrade to AVR-S970H and regretted about it 2 months later. One defect is that it loses signal randomly and another one is no sound unless denon replaces part. While denon and best buy are fixing hardware of AVR-S970H i have purchased X2800H. The first day I install it it started tandomly rebooting. While I am playing with this Japanese defective product I am browsing for better brands elsewhere. AVOID DENON DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS.

Regarding the rebooting of the AVR-X2800H, it's possible that the device was undergoing an update process. When connected to the internet, our receivers receive periodic firmware updates that include enhancements related to HDMI compatibility, music streaming, and other features.
