2. If your front speakers are full-range, adjust the Bass setting on the receiver to LFE + Main.

While there is no denying the Marantz had a more "musical" tone, the clarity and control of the sound and surround effects are amazing on the Denon. With the comparable Marantz costing a chunk of change more I think this is the better return on the dollar as the Denon is a close second.

Handles all my speakers with no problems, plenty of hdmi ports for my devices, can be controlled woth the remote or app. There is still more for me to experience with it but its great.
