I was so excited to finally upgrade after many, many years with my current receiver. The new Denon worked great, sounded great with my new Klipsch speakers, for 19 days until the network error. This must be somewhat common as it was easy to find the 2B02 error online. BuyBest was completely useless because the unit is outside of the 15 window and I did not purchase the expensive extended warranty. This was extremely disappointing since I have been a long time BestBuy customer and credit card holder. Denon is going to honor their warranty but it does not look like shipping is included for the return to the service center. I think all future purchases for electronics will be through Crutchfield since the customer experience and customer service has been top notch. In fact, I should have purchased the receiver through Crutchfield since it was the same price but I was impatient and deceived to pick it up at a local BestBuy store. This has become a painful and expensive reminder that customer service is dying.

Whether you go with Denon or Marantz youre getting a quality product.

Coming from a Yamaha RX-A830 bought in Feb 2014. Paired this with a new LG 75QNED85UQA. 4K TV needs a 4K AVR. Very impressed and happy with this AVR. Love finally having Atmos capability. Running 7.2.2 with all SVS speakers. Perfect!

Purchased 3800h and received it next day, ran all my new speaker wire and mounted some rear speakers, opened up box and notice it wasnt in plastic, then notice it looked different then in picture, model on item showed 3700. Either someone at best buy pulled a fast one or someone put a refurbished one in a new box and i was the unlucky one to puchase. Best Buy Phone customer service was excellent which is why i put 3 stars, when i receive right receiver ill rate either 5 or lower depending on actually item. Im coming from a denon S960. Unfortunately i already unhooked it and not trying to plug everything back up

I purchased this receiver for the IMAX enhanced and Atmos options. The most bang for your buck. Upgraded an older Denon and so far more than I could ask for.

Love this receiver. So far the set up and install went super easy. This was a great buy for the new home theater with Martin Logan speakers, Fire Cube, PS5 and my Dish receiver.

It was easy enough, albeit tedious to set up the hardware, but well worth it to enjoy its performance. I did have to turn off the hardware control on my SONY Blue Ray player to resolve some conflicts.

bought it open box at a great price unit very good condition it has all the inputs i was looking for and more it replaces my old yamaha stereo which does not have cdmi inputs only rca

Absolutely a beast! Have it set up for 11.1 using atmos speakers and a 2 channel external amp for the two back speakers. Like having imax in my living room

Works great except occasionally it’ll turn back on after I turn it off, then after about five seconds it’ll turn off again…

The receiver is now a computer. You can no longer just hook it up and it works. The settings are a challenge to get right. The interface is frustrating. The automated set up would not work, unless you already had it hooked up and working. (?!?!) The manual (300+ pages) does not make sense at many points. For example….it took me 45 minutes to do the FM/AM presets. It is almost easier to get the the right area and then just play with the remote/interface and learn it as you go. The worst thing was the speaker configuration settings. So complex it took me four hours to get the system to recognize the back surround speakers. The trick is that you must select that you have side surround speakers (even though they do not exist) in order to get the option to have back surround speakers. Also note the sound types on the colored buttons at the bottom of the remote. You might need to set them every time you change inputs. Generally, it could use more power. Plan to spend hours every weekend for a solid month to get this receiver fully up and running.

Excellent AVR to control your tv viewing from all sources.

I see no issues with the receiver; however, time has not permitted me to make fully enter act with the system.

Great item and very please with product and its performance.
