The sound is clear but the sub lacks the ability to thump. The sub is simply too small. Good option for a bedroom but not the best option for the primary TV entertainment.

Clear sound, large sound stage, responsive bass you can hear (though it’s not low enough to feel). It’s a more musical Soundbar than I expected, and sound great with a range of music styles. The Atmos is present and almost creates an allusion of height - it does try and maybe succeeds just a little. Atmos content sounds “big” but not exactly immersive. Better than my 7xx series Samsung bar did. The real star of this bar is the dialogue enhancement features, which do work to isolate and amplify the dialogue and make it easier to hear, even in big noisy action scenes or just poorly mixed content. For 400-ish bucks, this is a very good bar and probably the best 3.x.x setup I’ve heard under 1000 bucks. If you have Sonos aspirations on a budget, give this bar a shot.

Some times it doesn’t recognize the tv hdmi arc connection. A simple power cycle resolves this! I like that it has quick EQ settings for different scenarios. Example: “night” cuts a ton of bass so it doesn’t wake up my kids! It’s pretty expensive though.

What a difference in sound, nice and pleasing to my ears, just enough bass. Want good sound, go with a company that specializes in sound.
