This game is much better than the first, they added in so much more to do to keep you busy. Solo players can get around just as easy as they did in the first game. Luckily they have a more sound content release plan with this game so people won't get bored to easily. If you didn't like the first game you probably won't like this one. The game is worth giving a chance though if you are into shooters, the controls are very solid and the graphics are a bit better, but that will have to hold off until the X1X comes out to see it in 4k (PS Pro players are seeing it). Time will tell but early on it's been a blast with a lot to do. Giving it a 4 for now since I am enjoying it, a 5 will have to wait to see how things go down the road.

Overall, more Destiny -- most of what I disliked about the first Destiny (lore, story) have been addressed, but it's still the same old grind leveling and acquiring gear. I've gotten great value from this game. Maxed my levels (character and light), played all the content. Really good game, but nothing super revolutionary.

Actually has a story. Online with friends is fun. It’s loot-tastic.

Destiny 2 is a great game, but trust me, to enjoy everything that the game has, you should have a lot of free time available... and it's not only about that, you should have someone to help you in the raids because this is mainly a coop game... if this is not a problem to you, go ahead because Destiny 2 is a great game.

More challenging than the first one! Lots more to do in this one.

Destiny 2 is a lot more Destiny. The structure is largely the same, as is the mechanically excellent shooting and satisfying loot grind. But there are a variety of changes both under the hood and throughout your activities that make it a significant improvement over the original and a better experience for more than just the most hardcore players.

If you have not played Destiny this is still a great game. If you have played Destiny then you will notice right away that Destiny 2 is without a doubt much more than the original. This time they listened to the gamers and gave us a much deeper story mode than the original without changing the gaming experience we enjoyed from the original Destiny.

This game is far better than the first game - there is a lot less grinding and you get better rewards weekly. If you are looking for a time killer, then this is definitely your game! The story is very so-so and the game is semi-repetitive, but I think there is a lot of potential when future content is introduced.

About what you would expect. If you liked of the first destiny, chances are You will this sequel. Improvements to some of the layouts, but not as much changes you’d like to see. Overall it’s definitely worth buying for $30. I would give it five stars if it didn’t try to gouge me for every single expansion.

Great graphics, great control, could be more items and a bit longer of a game would be nice. This is basically Destiny 1 with new planets and such. Still a great title even if I was boycotting Bungie for a bit. I may or may not buy the upcoming expansion - on sale....hmmmmm.... Guardians Unite!

Destiny 2 offers a mediocre campaign mode (although better than the original game) and a great multiplayer experience. Teaming up with your friends, joining a clan and taking on raids together is one of the most unique aspects in gaming. If you're a fan of the franchise, definitely pick up a copy!
