Fun but the grind is real in this game

Really fun game to play with satisfying gunplay and good graphics. But the storyline is pretty mediocre and the game is very grindy, with no real reward for all the time you put into it.

Bought TTK when it came out and loved it. Never did buy the DLCs afterwards though until a week ago and I'mloving the story line. Great game!

I hated the original Destiny. It had so many plot holes, was repetitive, and boring game play. They managed to make this better with 4+ DLC packs included in this game.

We play pvp with a group of 6 friends (6v6) which is great fun; however, I am disappointed that the story line/missions limites you to 3 players max. Lots of variety and the maps are not getting old! Fun for us, we play our 6 person team with ages 20-52!

I played the game because my friends had it. It's pretty fun but the story is awfully confusing. Still fun shooter.

the game is not as good as I thought it would be or that it was made out to be. it is very similar to Halo, even the same music. the story is pretty lame in that you go to the same places and just do different missions there. at least in halo you were always in different worlds and places and no map was the same.

One thing I dislike about next gen gaming is the push for online multiplayer, and slow removal of local multiplayer. This trend has also affected the story line aspects of games. I hated Titan fall because the'story' was clearly less important than just allowing players to blow each other up in giant mechs. I personally find it quite lazy. In Destiny these trends are still present. And at first I almost just gave up on it in general. But I decided I would play through a bit since I paid for it already. While the story lines don't have a strong presence like older games, they are well enough thought out and explained that they aren't difficult to follow if you want to. And not overbearing if you don't. It's not a bad compromise and it is exicuted well. Same goes for the 'forced' multiplayer, you're constantly seeing other players around but in most cases you don't have to interact if you don't want to. This game has done very well at appeasing many different types of gamers.

This collection is a great way to get into the world of Destiny. I had never played Destiny before. This collection allowed me to jump right in. As far as the actual gameplay goes the story is a little hollow and jumbled together but still fun to play. It's nice to not to have to play against other players online and work together unlike most FPS today.

Lots of fun goals, but very much a treadmill

Gorgeous and fun game, though the story is a patchwork. The somewhat incoherent story of the game universe and Bungie's decision to make Xbox players wait for PS4 content were big minuses for me. I would've gotten this on day one and paid full price if not for the latter. I got the whole game and expansions for 40 bucks and that's about all I would be willing to pay for it. At the end of the day it's a fun time suck to play with friends while I wait for something better to come out.
