I love this game! It is super fun to try and solve the mysteries with Pikachu! I am having a blast!!!

A fun detective style game with simple puzzles, but the story is an absolute blast from beginning to end.

This is one of my favorite Pokémon spin off games that I’ve played period. Sure, it’s a walking simulator, but as Tim Goodman you basically play the main character in a movie. This game reminded me of the old school Pokemon anime shows I used to watch in the 90s, but in game form. If you are a casual pokemon fan, this isn’t going to be your typical game and you may not enjoy it. But I highly recommend for Pokemon enthusiasts.

Detective Pikachu's is a puzzle game likened to the point-and-click genre of the past. Its puzzles aren't too difficult as the game is mostly aimed at a younger audience -even though I did get stumped a few times. Its characters and settings that you meet and see through the game are the strong points in this spin-off Pokemon title. If you're a Pokemon fan, these two things allow you to see what it is like to live in the world of Pokemon when you are not a Pokemon Trainer.

I was not sure what to expect given that Pikachu has a voice, I have to say that the developers did a fantastic job creating the story and the voice of Pikachu. I do not see Detective Pikachu as a replacement for the Pikachu I know and love, it is an alternative version of him. The story line is a little quick but it isn't so childish that as an adult I am put off by it. I highly recommend it, I have enjoyed every moment.

This game is great for die hard pokemon fans and also for children who love pokemon. While it is definitely a kid's game, it was super fun for me to be in the pokemon world seeing how they interact with people and solving mysteries. It is not challenging, but the story is fun and I really liked playing it as an adult. I would definitely recommend it especially since there is a movie coming out soon!

Im honestly not very into the base line pokemon games lately, but, this really helped me get back into loving the pokemon world since the first 2 generations. It may be simple cases, but its something I kinda missed from the original pokemon series. Simplistic pokemon adventures that just flow as you played. No worry about shinies, or genetics, or training, or getting lost, or missing elements. Just good fun.

One of the best 3ds games to come out this year. I love the characters and the story

The pinnacle of human invention, Detective Pikachu bestows meaning upon my empty life. I was initially disappointed that Danny DeVito didn't voice Pikachu, but being honest with myself, we as a race couldn't handle it. If there's any criticism to be made, the part where Detective Pikachu waterboarded Charmander in an attempt to extract info on the whereabouts of Boss Muk was arguably a bit much

Game is easy to use fun to play very age appropriate

Bought this game for my daughter, an avid Pokemon fan. She has been playing it for days without wanting to take a break. According to her the only so-so part is that when you are replaying the chapters just because you want to, some of the scenes can not be skipped. This should not be an issue for most however.

This game has an interesting story and is a lot of fun to enjoy

Detective Pikachu plays like Ace Attorney lite, and that’s not a bad thing, but the real reason to play this game is its depiction of the world of Pokémon. This game showcases a variety of species from different game generations and does it in a way that feels organic in a world shared with humans. Detective Pikachu is worth playing on personality alone.

Good story and good game for any pokemon fan, I love it

I got this because it's a Pokémon game AND a mystery visual novel in one. Not only that, it has a fully voiced cast, and there hasn't been a Pokémon game like this in the history of Pokémon games. The trailers make it look very fun and compelling, too, so it makes me excited to experience this story. Hopefully we find out why this Pikachu can talk.

This is a fun game for sure. I would say it’s a little on the easy side.

It's different for sure coming from traditional Pokemon game, but I found it to be fun being a detective with Pikachu. Especially a talking Pikachu, not as the same as the movie, which I found it great by the way, it still had that fun lovable feeling when you expire this Pokemon universe.

I’m new to the Pokémon world and was reflectant to try assuming I needed to be following to understand these later games. It was entertaining learning the types of Pokémon and how to use them in battles. I was pleasantly surprised. The collecting does get addicting! Great game play and storyline. Fun game.

Pokemon has been around for more than 20 years. With each generation comes mainline games as well as spinoffs. This particular spin off is awesome because it puts Pikachu as a wise cracking detective who has to solve a mystery, If you like mysteries, puzzle solving, and Pokemon, give this game a try.

Cool game, on sale at $20 is a good deal. Specially if you want the young one to get into the genre. I like that the movie was based on this, and still the game is different enough to keep you entertained. I would say it is not challenging but charming and a good new perspective into the world of Pokémon.
