Geek Squad failure to correct commmunications

I had been having problems with my HP OfficeJet 9015 printer losing connection via the HP Smart APP. The background was following HP's updating the Smart APP, I lost network connection. The support people kept following their Knowledge Base procedure. During the efforts (which was repeated 3 or 4 times) I indicated that all efforts failed.
This caused me to purchase a later model "HP OH Pro 9120e.
The printer communications failures continued with this new printer. By now I'd closed the support efforts because the tech support had no ideas of the cause.
NOTE: all this appeared to be the result of the HP Smart APP upgrade from the mid November caused the problem.
After buying a replacement printer and having the problem with the newer one, I contacted HP directly and through extensive examination, the support tech diagnosed a VPN problem, which, when disabled bypassed the print problem.

I commend the Geek Squad for a technology job well done to assist with a printer problem issue due to the unlisted HP 8130e Pro series. The charge amount of $43.00 is worth the cost for the professional technicians to resolve the problem! Amen!

I was tricked to join the plan. I was looking for technical help for a fan problem on my laptop. I was told if I joined they could fix it.
I found out that was NOT technical support but a sales pitch for this service. She took my money on false pretense. AND the geek squad couldntt even get the back off my laptop. I had to take it to You Break , We Fix. I did go to three different stores, three different Geed Squads. They were all unskilled inexperienced ...i knew more then them. Such a shame since they tout their Geek ability. Wish i could get a car to drive around for being less skillled then google!!!

Two people from your Geek Squad tried for about an hour and a half trying to get my printer to work with no success. I was told to contact the manufactuer at Epson because you could not fix my problem !

I HAD TO PAY FOR THE GEEK SQUAD TO TELL ME THE CARTILAGE DID'T HAVE ANY INK. MY PRINTER KEPT TELL ME THE INK CARTILAGE WAS NOT IN THE RIGHT WAY ON EITHER ONE OR BOTH OF THE CARTILAGES. IT WAS A NEW CARTILAGE. I HAD TO BUY A NEW ONE BECAUSE HOME DELIVERY FROM HP HASN'T SENT ME ANY.

Everyone was really nice but I kept getting hung up on. I thought I made my problem very clear, but they wanted to do something else than what I asked. They assumed I didn't know what I was talking about. I paid $40 and got nothing fixed. Obviously they are good at helping with standard problems but not specialized ones. I believe I went through 6 people. They got into my computer which bothered me when I just need a ink waste reset code for Epson XP 620.

Geek Squad very helpful. They have fixed my computer several times. Recent call to hook up printer and they trouble shooter for 2 hours but couldn’t get connected, not sure why. I will move printer close to router and try again.

Geek Squad got my printer up and running remotely!

The Geek Squad agent helped me figure out why my printer wasn't printing with a remote connection. It only took about 20 minutes from start to finish even though they originally told me it would take one to two hours. I did have to sit at my computer the entire time the agent was working. The agent I dealt with was overseas in India, but he made that very clear from the beginning of the conversation. He mentioned that he had a thick accent but that we would get everything figured out. I did have to have him repeat himself a couple times, but nothing crazy. I was VERY happy with the services I received. I would definately use Geek Squad supper again.

I received a new Netgear router and could not get my printer to hook up. I called Netgear and after a couple of tries said I would have to call printer company. Well, they source out and charge on an older printer. So, I called the Geek Squad. First timer, very happy as we got it going in a few minutes. I feel I was some help after hours of trying to get it going. I had learned a lot about router and printer. But could not get it done without the Geek Squad help

Terrible service. Paid $40 to get a printer fixed and was told that it would be refunded if the printer was not fixed. Needless to say, the agent hung up the chat and completely ghosted me. Had to go to a Best Buy store to actually get my refund. Would give it 0 stars if I could.

Spent about 5 hours reinstalling the operating system on a new laptop that was having inexplicable driver issues disabling the touch screen. It shouldn't have been a problem, and required a lot of extra work on the part of the Tech. They happily took it in stride and diligently resolved the issue.
