I gotta say, he was IN LOVE WITH IT. He is a huge devil may cry fan and was really anxious about this one (since he did not love the last one). He played so many hours I lost count, got 100% in all trophies and replayed with the bonus skins from pre order. I watched parts of it, it looks pretty much like an anime game that is super hard lol

Its been a long time coming for the next entry in Devil May Cry, but boy does it deliver. Great gameplay and fun storytelling with all the iconic characters returning with additions of new ones. I recommend this to anyone looking to play a hack and slash and are familiar with the Devil May Cry series.

Without question or hesitation I can safely say this is one of the best in the series and a proper return to form after the embarrassing dmc on PS3/360 made by Ninja Theory. The game is an absolute blast to play and running on Capcom's gorgeous RE Engine.

If you are a fan of the series, this is currently the best of them all. You can quickly catch up with videos of all the earlier stories from the other games and you will meet and re-battle some of your favorite opponents along with new ones.

A must for any DMC fan. This is the continuation of DMC and it has you on the edge of your seat. A bit predictable but only if you're REALLY paying attention. Good execution. I hope to see another part!

Devil may cry 5 is the best in the long running series. It is arguably the best character action game this generation. Fluid gameplay, crisp graphics and a deep combat system that rewards you for variation create a unique experience.

Game Delivers everything that we expected + so much more, its everything that we and devs wanted but couldn't give us in previous games, difficulty is challenging and if You played earlier games there`s some surprises as well

Devil May Cry has been a favorite series of mine since I first played it on PS2. It stumbled over the course of the series with DMC2, but DMC 5 is a return to form and one of the best action games of this generation.

This game is fan service written all over it. The amount of throwback capcom has put into this game is insane. For those who love Rueben Langdon, Johnny young bosch, or dan southworth pick this game up!

Great combat and variety but the environments get bland later on in the game. I was more of a fan of the Victorian design of DMC4

Feels like a classic Devil May Cry, even with all the enhancements and characters. Combat is fluid, fun and challenging in the right ways. I like the addition of a free camera. The new character, V, has a very unique fighting style and stands apart from the rest of the cast, with his more mellow personality, but still fits in thematically with his personal flair and flavor. If you've been a fan of any of the previous Devil May Cry games, I doubt this one would disappoint.

This game is exactly what you would expect for a sequel in the series. Great action, superb graphics, and enough replayability to keep you busy until your next AAA purchase.

DMC 5 is quite the return to form. With 3 playable characters who all have different combat mechanice and a great story, this is a must buy for DMC fans!

Wowee… yowza… holy smokes... this right here. this is one action packed, blood soaked, adrenaline ride. Strap in and get ready to have your mind blown.

DMC IS BACK the combat felt amazing it was a nice change of pace with a lot of modern games and out of the games early 2019 this is the best value

The story is a little predictable if you have been a fan of dmc and been playing since ps2 days. But the story is still great and has a few shocks.

I haven’t finished it yet but it’s honestly the best Devil May Cry game I’ve played, the graphics are beautiful and the gameplay is so fun!

Everything any DMC fan has been waiting for. Very replayable and even moreso with the upcoming free BloodY Palace DLC, highly recommend.

It's been along time since the last official Devil May Cry dropped. Back in 2008. This game hits every checkmark a sequel should have.
