I am a huge fan of the Bayonetta games and am eagerly awaiting the third installment. When I saw the trailer for this new Devil May Cry I was very interested, but did not know if not having played ANY of the other games in the series would hurt my experience. So, I picked it up on Black Friday, popped it in and...SOOO FUN! Just action game goodness! Just as over the top, flashy as Bayonetta. Easy to learn yet so much to learn and master. Please, if you like any kind of action games (Uncharted, Zelda, God of War, etc) buy this game ASAP. It is kind of short, but as soon as I beat it, I played it again on a harder setting (which changes enemy attacks! Not just raise their HP and Damage!!!).

Awesome game, visually it looks incredible, controls are similar to previous titles in this series. Availability of different characters through the story mode. Upgrade a lot of your abilities. In my opinion a little to easy, but I have played all of the previous titles religiously, so maybe I'm just to use the game controllers, overall i give it a solid 8/10

This game is my action game of the year. I love the combat, the story and the insane action.

The story is good, the action is great, and the controls are as tight as any of the DMC games.

Not as good as the original but not bad! Easy to beat

I'm old school and have been playing DMC since PS2. The game loses its cemented camera and ridged linear gameplay too. The voices are different too but it's not an issue. I actually prefer this Dante work. I'm not particularly fond of his new Emo friends and thier cheesy estectics. Rico is awesome however. Gameplay and graphics are some of the best from Capcom yet. Life long Capcom fan.

This game is truly a return to the old DMC games. If Dante was the only character it would be a great game, but with the other two characters it is so much more. The gameplay is fast and over the top with a ton of moves and inventory to unlock. The graphics are jaw dropping. Love and care went into this game.

As my first DMC game I was very adamant about getting this without playing the previous games. With that said the game has a nice story recap video to get you caught up. Learning the different combos for fighting is rewarding in itself as you make your way from demon slaying noob to a master with enough dedication.

I have been a DMC fan since the first one and feel Tharp have only gotten better over time, this one is no exception!! Gameplay is fluid, story is awesome and if you are playing this with an Xbox one X prepare to be dazzled.... this game is absolutely beautiful in 4K... very happy with my purchase!

Great game all the way. Story, design and character and gameplay. Single player character and story development feel. Great how you can develop abilities and weapons how you choose to customize your experience. Freaken awesome on a huge television with surround sound.

DMC 5 is the best devil may cry game ever made and possibly the best game ever made. The action is fast paced and the controls are tight and responsive. This story is everything you ever wanted from a DMC story. This is the Avengers Endgame of the DMC series.

Was on clearance so I had to scoop it. Devil may cry is a great series and this was a great deal! Always buy my stuff at Best Buy because they price match or usually have better deals than other stores.

Ueah Capcom never drops the ball when it comes to this series. I've been playing this franchise since part one and the game has came along way. Great graphics and story to match. Definitely will enjoy playing this and climbing the difficulty ladder.

So is Nero, but more importantly Dante. DMC 5 is an excellent action game some would argue a return to form for the series. The action is fast and non-stop, the gameplay is tight and responsive. If you like action pick this one up.

DMC5 is great. It's the latest game in the series and definitely worth picking up on the cheap. The story is pretty good with a nifty little twist, that's easy to see coming but it's pretty solid overall and a lot of fun.

Yeaaaah this was fun!! slicing & dicing monsters of all types! 2 characters to choose from. multiple weapons. & the 3rd character is DLC cant get enough Devil May Cry

I haven't really played the previous entries, but still found this game incredibly fun. The graphics are amazing and action is fun ans fluid. I recommend watching a story catchup/recap video online if like me you haven't played the others.

I love DMC5 I liked the ost my favorite is Nico’s theme it brings me bliss. Nero is my favorite character in this one, the new character V aint the bad either I liked his style. The enemies and bosses are great as well.

If you are a fan of DMC at all then you will love this game. If you enjoy great combat games in general you'll enjoy it. Interesting story and great range of different characters and move sets/ combat techniques. Great game.
