Great Game - Even on a console
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a legacy Diablo player and I have never played it on a console. I must say this game still holds up and is great to be able to play it on the go with the Nintendo Switch. I would recommend to anyone who hasn't played Diablo in a while.

Ganon
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Runs decent enough on the Nintendo Switch OLED with nice colors and graphics. Ganondorf transmog is a bit expensive, but I'll have to make more time to play it I suppose.

Perfect addition to the swtich!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game brought back memories of playing Diablo on the PC. With Nintendo's online service, playing with friends is super easy!!! The graphics and gameplay are awesome and being able to take Diablo on the go on the switch is a huge plus.

Excellent RPG Combat
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What a great game that runs very well on the Switch!!! I got the game on sale and used certificates so I believe I paid under $10 total but the game is definitely worth at least $40... My first Diablo experience and I was blown away!!!

Crazy Action on the GO!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome port of Diablo 3, I have played this on PC and PS4 previously and I can safely say this version is one of the best due to its portable nature. Is it the a graphical powerhouse? No. Is it 60 FPS almost all of the Time? Pretty Much.

Still a fantasic game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even with it's age, Diablo 3 is still a ton of fun to play. Plays great on the Switch docked or handheld, no slow downs at all. Couch Coop is great too, so much easier to get going than on PS4. Awesome game to pick up for the Switch!!

It's Diablo, again
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even though it's the same game I own on PS4 and PC, I still purchased it for the Switch. There's something alluring about having a portable version of the game. Either way, not mad, it's great fun and looks great on the tablet or TV.

Great fun solo or coop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My switch has been collecting dust over the past several months, but this game has made me pick it back up again. I jumped straight into a seasonal character on adventure and I'm glad I did. The seasonal armor reward gives a huge boost and I recommend starting that way instead of campaign. +The game runs a smooth 60FPS in both docked and handheld +Tons of content and replayability +Easy to play +perfect for short bursts +Online works well -No way to communicate with players online, not even with the Nintendo Switch app

Great port!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an excellent port onto the Switch! Game runs smooth and fast! Minor load times with the exception of when the game first starts. If you don’t have the PC version, this one is great! Having it on the go makes it even better!

good action game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome game! Excellent graphics and sound. Bad part is that internet is required if you start with a seasonal character. I found this out on a plane. So I just do a local play now. Be warned that this game is very addicting!

Runs perfectly!
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a perfect version of Diablo 3 in the palm of your hand. The Switch is the perfect home for this game because of the hundreds of hours you can idly pour into it, as well as how fun it is to bring it over to someone and play drop in coop. If you are looking for a switch game you can spend a lot of time with, and can either be a casual play or a deep dive, this is a great option.

Outstanding Port to the Switch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Blizzard, the undisputed king of action-style RPGs and the Hack N Slash genre, has outdone itself here. The Ganondorf skins are outstanding, and the fact that you can take this game on the go simply puts it over the top.

Great port
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I played d3 heavily when it first hit some 6 or so years ago. Stopped after about a year and never felt the urge to go back. Then, I hear it's getting released for the switch. I love my switch and have actually been looking for something a bit different to play since I have a decent amount of downtime in my schedule, time that I'm also not home. So far, this game has been amazingly fun. I was a little worried because I really didn't want to be forced into any kind of min-maxing nonsense; I just want to kill lots of monsters. It's fitting that bill great. I'm sure the game plays more precise on a pc but I'm still astounded at how comfortable it plays on a console, a mobile handheld at that. The fact you can take this game mobile can't be underrated.

Impressive, but. . .
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It runs and looks better than last gen, that's to be expected given Switch having more resources. There's no extra download for data, just some an update or two to likely fix some bugs or add some to the gameplay. If you like Diablo 1 and 2 you're likely going to have issue with this game as the depth isn't quite there. It feels more like a very simple beat 'em up where you equip armor and change skills every so often. There's no real skill tree or much progression of each skill. You get a skill, you unlock runes for each as you level up and each changes the skill but doesn't exactly power it up. Instead of a regular attack you'll get a ice attack or one that might do more damage, or one that stuns or takes HP. I didn't enjoy the PC version much given it has always online DRM and other issues, but Switch? It has no online-requirement to play and has 4 player local (same machine no less) or online co-op. It has all the content the latest release of PC has, necromancer, the expansion and such. I got it for couch co-op, played it a bunch and some online and it's overall been pretty fun. But like I said, as a beat 'em up, not really an action RPG. There's just not much depth here. For that you might want to look at Titan Quest but, I have no idea how that runs on Switch, only the PC version. In short, it's alright. Grab if you have some friends who want to play locally.
