I really like this setup for Diablo. I am a huge gamer, and enjoy spending time with my friends online just smashing things up. I have played every Blizzard title, and this is definitely up to snuff for the Xbox One console. Only if they'd put WoW on console!

During the holiday season, I needed a good co-op game for my new system that me and my sister could play. When we have a chance to play games, co-op are the best but the new Xbox One system doesn't have many now. I read some reviews and decided to give the game a try. Perfect choice. We played this over other games for Xbox and her PS3 system. Graphics and storyline are great. When I do finally complete it, it is worth a replay.

I had D3 on pc and did not get the expansion as I firgured I would try the console version. Love it!! Great traffics on xb1, very smooth gameplay and easy controls. Good replay value, a must buy if you want an rpg you can jump right into

I have been a fan of the series since the original and they just keep getting better. This one is no exception, fantastic graphics and great game play. Looks really beautiful on Xbox One. Do yourself a favor and pick it up.

Best game that I played on the console: great graph quality, in-depth story, and it works very well on the xbox one. I've played diablo before on the PC, but I feel much better when I play on the xbox one. I love it.

I also have the initial release of Diablo III (non-expansion) for PC and I really enjoyed playing it, but for whatever reason I didn't get as into it as I did with Diablo II, which I played religiously for years. Honestly, I was worried about the transition to console, seeing as how use of the mouse to target an Elite monster in a crowd of minions can sometimes be crucial. But I've found that I rarely miss this capability. In fact, I like playing this game on Xbox One even more than I liked playing it on PC (I've never had this reaction to another game that I've played on both systems). It's so much fun that I'm worried I'll spend as much time on it as I did on D2 15 years ago.

It took me many months to decide whether to pick this up or not. I read through numerous reviews, watched video reviews on Youtube, even indulged in some Twitch viewing to decide if this was worth owning. My reluctance boiled down to this: The same attack animations over and over for dozens of hours with mediocre textures and an isometric view seemed like it would get boring fast. Yet at the same time the Gauntlet games gave me some of my best social gaming memories and those were far simpler. On the other hand, they had a brighter more diverse color palette than Diablo 3 seemed to have and that was part of the allure back in the day. All this is to say, I did not go into this with a great deal of confidence. Instead, it came down to the fact that I only have one other game for Xbox One that I can play with people on the couch and this seemed like the best bet of my other choices. As you can see from the above rating, it did not disappoint. There's a certain magic to this game that can't be accounted for unless you actually play it. Watching videos, reading reviews, none of it does the game justice. There's a smoothness and ease to progression that is just oh so satisfying without ever feeling like a grind. A loot driven game can easily become compelling solely for the hunt for something new or better, which is more about triggering certain psychological loops than it is about anything actually Fun. Not so with Diablo 3! It's a testament to the solidness of the gameplay that I have enjoyed all my time with the game despite having zero interest or investment in the lore, world, or story (this is comfortably and enthusiastically a high fantasy game and high fantasy is not my bag). Even my girlfriend was immediately sucked into the game. I say "even" because this is a far cry from the games she usually plays and was nothing she had any interest in trying; she only gave it a try because I whined about wanting her to. Immediately after exploding her first zombie as a crusader with a shield and flail was she sucked in. Again, on paper and in video it looks repetitive, simplistic, and even dull, but with controller in hand it feels weighty and satisfying. My only complaint so far is the absence of any sort of consistent sprint function. You can get speed boosts in various ways which is all well and good, but without the ability to reliably sprint some of the treks through areas can drag slightly. This, however, is the minorest of minor complaints as I can count on one hand the number of times this was an actual detractor for me. In short, this game is brimming with content and is designed in such a way that you can pick up and play for 15 minutes and feel like you've made progress. 20 hours in and it hasn't become dull or grindy, and it's accessible and flexible enough that anyone who's even remotely inclined to play with you can jump right in and have a good time. Word of warning though: If they want to save their character they'll need a unique profile on your Xbox. Near as I can tell this isn't Blizzard's fault but instead a bizarre restriction on Microsoft's end so I won't fault the game for it. Full disclosure: I bought this game on sale during Black Friday at a huge discount. Now that I've played it, however, I feel confident that I would feel completely satisfied and happy with my purchase had I paid full price.

This game is best played with friends. While it is perfectly playable solo, you'll get the most enjoyment playing multiplayer. Hack, slash and loot. That's all you really need in life.

I own D3+RoS on PC, and rebought on X1(on sale) to see how different it actually is. It's great. The controls are excellent, it makes it easy to give a controller to someone and have them play without having to spend 10 minutes explaining everything. Graphics are PC perfect and it's a plus to have surround sound instead of headphones/smaller speakers. I wouldn't dream of paying $60, but it's a worthwhile addition to a collection. Skip regular version if you're on last gen, Crusader and the new content is worth it.

I got this at the very release and had a chance to play it last night after the kids went to bed (10pm). I picked the crusader because I always like the paladin characters in any RPG games. Started doing the quests, and getting all the loot. I have not played any version of Diablo since Diablo II 16+ years ago. The feel is familiar, but the graphics and game play is amazing. I want to try every single class. Very excited. I am 40 years old and I feel like a kid again. Played till 2am.

I own the PC version of Diablo with the expansion as well and this version on the Xbox One takes the cake. One option that I love is moving with the control stick rather than clicking a mouse. The console version is nice because it's an arcade feel. For example, when you get the bright orb you get double damage and when you destroy objects you get bonus to run speed. Also when you kill a bunch of mobs in a row you get a big multiplier on experience whereas in the PC version it's definitely not as much. One annoyance however is that the targeted AOE abilities seem a little clunky. You have to target an enemy and that's where the AOE hits. It's a minor annoyance in my opinion but I know some PCers will not like that. The last very minor annoyance (but I understand why Blizzard did this) is that your characters that you had on the PC version do not come over to the console version and vice-versa. I think it's a great game and it's SO much fun doing the local co-op. I bought this so my wife and I could play and she loves playing it with me, so that's a huge plus. :) On local co-op there is a slowdown that happens when someone wants to look at their inventory or skills, but at the same time it's fun helping them figure out what the best combination of skills and best items are to have. Blizzard knew this would be annoying so they implemented a quick way of dealing with newly acquired items and skills without having to go into the menus. In the corner of the screen that your character info is (health, resource globes) there's an area where you can choose to mark items as "junk" or equip items or skills by the quick click of a button. It's really neat and works very well. If you choose to just hack and slash without trying to maximize everything you almost never need to look at your skills and inventory. Very good game and extremely awesome port to the Xbox one. I'm very impressed and have not regretted one second of the experience. I love it!

I bought the used Diablo 3 and it looked pretty much brand new. no scratches or smudges. As for the game itself, if you played Diablo 3 on pc like i have you would be expecting the same thing. You would be wrong. There's a lot of added things in the console version that the PC version doesn't have, such as a roll to quickly move your character out of the way, and the best thing is that when a monster kills your friend it turns into a nemesis and shows up randomly in your game. If you kill it you get loot as well as gift items that you can send legendary items to your friends. If the monster kills you it gets stronger and moves to another person in your friends list. It's pretty awesome because being in a boss fight and then having a monster suddenly jump out of a portal that killed my friend with their name above it makes everything way more intense. It's actually more fun than the PC version. I swear it runs smoother too, i think it's optimized for console. My computer is no slouch either so they did pretty good work.

Great ARPG with plenty of hack and slash action. I have played the Diablo series on PC since its inception and decided to make the jump to console. I was not disappointed. I wasn't sure if I'd be satisfied with the console controls after playing on the PC for so long, but the D3 team made targeting and spell-casting easy and intuitive.

Bought this out of nostalgia (I cannot count how many hours I spent on Diablo II back in the day). Great game, addictive gameplay, surprisingly solid with gamepad. Got to say, story is very cliche and not interesting and there is less amount of player customization compared to II. This ways more on the action part of Action-RPG rather than the RPG one. Still, very enjoyable game that I recommend to anyone.
