Amazing gift item would recommend for Digmom fans.

I love digimon, and even with my love, I still had my own apprehension about it. However, I can say this is one of the best Digimon stories out there. First thing first, it's a visual novel. It has always been a visual novel, advertised as one and much the game (70-80%) is visual novels. However, its effects from the choices you make do affect who lives and who dies, and you can't ever escape someone dying on your first time. Bandai Namco also is resolving the preorder/launch issue and giving out codes now for Guilmon to retailers for physical copies. The story is easily my favorite and the characters wonderful. I fully recommend it, and Digimon Games need the support or else we might never see another one.

This is game is ok. Moves a bit slow. Get it only if you’re into story based games.

Its a good game but definitely a different style of gameplay then im used to.

I purchased this for my nephew that did an excellent job in school this year. So I took him to Best Buy so he could pick out his own games. This was one of his choices and he seems to really enjoy playing it.

Love the game. Its a lot of fun if you like the storytelling aspects. Gameplay is good too, not my normal type but still no complaints.

Solid game for a generation that grew up with the series. I love the battle mechanics. The writing is some of the best in any of the Digimon games.

Item as described. But the game, 7:10? Digimon fan but the visual novel aspect is so slow. But that fault lies on me

More Visual Novel than SRPG. SRPG gameplay is solid if a bit lacking in variety and depth. Compelling story with a novel take on Digimon and their world. Strong Digimon Adventure themes and vibes. Small roster of available Digimon as a tradeoff for increased focus on the partner Digimon as their own characters.

Is what I expected for the money and I will buy more

Not much of visual novel guy. Tried to get into it. Gave up after realizing I could save everyone the first play through. Overall probably one of the best pieces digimon media you can get but if you expect a lot of digimon like world ds or cyber sleuth you will be disappointed.

The game is a great VN, the tactic fighting style is different from the old style of digimon games. Also for anyone that pre-ordered or bought the game you will receive an email with a redeemable code for the guilmon and hp item bonus

Amazing game. Beautiful graphics! Very distinct gameplay almost like a survival game vibes. If you’re a fan of digimon I definitely recommend!

Just finished first playthrough last night and have to say this is a fantastic Digimon game. Story is gripping. I will say if you're looking for this to be like The Cyber Sleuth games you will be disappointed. This game is pretty much 80% visual novel. So if that's not your thing steer clear. Also I too had issues with the preorder DLC but that in no way takes away from the game and story.

Engaging visual novel and combat. I spent hours watching dark turns and surprises.

While the game did not come with the code included in the box, I got it emailed to me today 8/2/22. Otherwise I find the game fairly easy to play; although I wish there was a autoplay or skip button for all the text. They weren't kidding about the visual novel aspect. While this whole launch month dlc has left a bad taste in my mouth, I really want there to be more Digimon games coming to the west.
