this game is really fun, the best part of the game are the battles, you battle on a map and move a few spaces every turn until you are close enough to an enemy to attack, the maps are small so you can usually finish battles in a few turns, it is easy to get stat boosting items, but the game does has some major flaws, one there is only Japanese voices in the game, the characters and Digimon swear way too much, and the worst problem is the terrible translations, the game is full of grammatical errors like words not seperated by a space, or words are completely missing from sentences, but the biggest problem is how they completely messed up the genders of some of the characters, at some points in the game certain characters are called both male and female, but I do highly recommend this game especially if you love Digimon.

This game has it all. Not only is the opening theme something you can listen to for hundreds of hours on loop and not get tired of, it’s also an incredible time sink that you can really allow yourself to slow down and enjoy. I truly believe this is the best digimon game since the PS1 days.

I see most of the complaints are from people not getting the Guilimon DLC. My physical copy didnt come with one either. I reached out to Bandai and submitted a help desk ticket and attached my receipt as proof of purchase before release date from Best Buy and they gave me a code the next day to redeem. Hopefully that is helpful. Other that enjoying the game so far, there is a lot of talking in the beginning, but the game play has been fun.

A good tactics for the price. mostly bought this game to support the Digimon franchise .

Digimon Survive is a fun blend of visual novel and strategy RPG.

I ordered this game because I have played some of the Digimon games on my PS4. Those were RPG titles, There was an overarching story, and you could capture Digimon. There were also dungeons and you could explore the world and do side missions. Digimon Survive is different. It's a lot more mature and it's very focused on the story. If you do not like visual novels, you most likely will not like this. The combat is fine, but 90% of the game is going to be the visual novel portion. That means reading through the text, and occasionally making choices. Some choices affect the story, and so do not. Overall I'm satisfied with the game. I give it a 5/5.

With up to 4 different endings this game encourages multiple playthroughs which will not only expand on the lore but also show you the consequences of your various actions throughout the game. This game will ask a lot of you with it visual novel storytelling style but through that medium you’ll be able to grow close to its very well written cast of characters. A must buy for any long time Digimon fan and for anyone wanting to experience a mature story.

Visual novel meets tactical rpg is a unique hybrid for a game and one that pays off in my book.

Couldnt really explore like I felt I wanted to, for younger ages. Took a long time to really get going. Point n pick system i didnt like.

This has been a great digimon game. Many people were not expecting the visual novel style, but it blanketly says it on the description. The story is one of the best Digimon has to offer and am hopeful for more content in the future.

I'm having a good time with the game. Those who're expecting something similar to cyber sleuth, this ain't it, chief. The game plays mostly as a visual novel and the "combat" portion plays similar to fire emblem and other srpgs that play the same.

Digimon Survive is a visual novel game with maybe 10-15% battle. You have to play the game multiple times to get the true ending, but you are able to fast forward through the dialogue you have already read.

I believe any Digimon fan should play this game to show support for the IP. However, if your looking for a game similar to digimon world, your not gonna find it here.

One of the worst games ever so slow and a story that could be great but fizzles very quickly
