In view of an upcoming 10 day vacation, I figured I would need a backup rechargeable battery for my relatively new Canon SX530HS. This DigiPower Refuel battery was recommended by a long-trusted Best Buy employee. As usual, it was a sound, reliable recommendation. The backup battery worked flawlessly in the camera and charged quickly for the next day's use, enabling me to rotate the original battery and the backup without interruption for 10 days.

As good as the original. Charged right up, fits perfect. Battery life good.

This battery is lighter than the one that came with the camera but is still worth the investment considering the very high cost of an original from the manufacturer. It was a life saver on a day of taking a lot of photos when the first battery died. Battery was strong enough to take photos for the 3-4 hours left during a tour. Would recommend the investment. You could get more than two for the price of an original from the manufacturer.

Needed an additional battery for my Powershot SX 530HS. I now have the flexibility that I was looking for when doing nature shots. It has met all of my needs.

Works great. Holds a good charge. Glad that we didn't need to replace the camera, the battery just needed to be replaced and it works great now.

I rotate this item with the original that came with the camera. It fits perfectly into the charging slot and the charge seems to last as long as the charge on the original.
