Works perfect for the Canon camera. Long-lasting charge

I purchased the Digipower as a replacement battery for my Canon camera. It works well as it maintains its charge for an extended period.

If your camera is several years old, the battery will eventually not charge to max, and will fail you at some point when you need it. Replace it so you get those shots. Hard to find a battery when you are in a foreign country or even in some parts of the US. We kept the old battery as a back-up just in case, but keep the new one charged in the camera.

The battery works fine in my Cannon charger and I haven't had any problems with the camera balking at using a non-Canon product. I have a PowerShot SX 520 HS. As this battery is only 650 mAh and the Canon is 1050, it does not take as many photos, but it's great to have for when the Canon goes dead on me because the camera gives very little notice that the battery is near dead.

The lithium rechargeable battery works well. I use it as an extra battery for my canon camera, when my original battery runs down. I just switch them out, and charge the one that is dead. it's really a lifesaver when you find out that you're out of juice, and you have a back up.
