Battery life is not as long as the factory batteries but for the cost it's OK

My video camera shows I have two hours of life. I actually only get about 20 minutes of battery life recording video. I missed recording the Vatican and St. Peter’s basilica because of this overpriced piece of junk. Bought this product about a week before a two week vacation. I came back to find out I could no longer return the product. Best Buy added insult to injury with its 15 day return policy

I BOUGHT THIS BATTERY WITH THE IDEA OF USING IT AS A SPARE BUT WHEN I WENT TO USE IT IT HAS DEAD NO GOOD THE BAD PART I THOUGHT I WAS ALL SET SO THE RECEIPT WAS GONE COULD NOT FIND IT HERE I AM OUT THE MONEY AND A DEAD BATTERY. DON'T BUY VERY BAD INVESTMENT

Fair price, but this battery only lasted 58 minutes on my SonyHDR-XR150, and it had been fully charged then unplugged from the charger two hours prior to use. The package indicated it would last 90 minutes, so it was a little disappointing. True, the fine print said "depending on the type of camera", but I would expect the 90 minutes to be a conservative estimate, and my use didn't even come close.

It’s really not worth the money. You can find the original version (or a 3x capacity version) for less than 2x as much and you’ll have a back-up you won’t be afraid to use. This one gets burned through in about 45 minutes consistently. Stick with the OEM version, is my recommendation.
