I would recommend buying this device for anyone that owns a functional VHS deck. Dust buildup on the heads of a VHS deck will degrade the video playback ability. So having something to remove the dust without opening the VHS deck is very helpful. Operation of this couldn't be simpler either. just insert into the deck, let it play for a few seconds. (says 30 on the box) then rewind and put it away. It brought back what little picture quality that a VHS deck gives without costly repairs. The only thing to keep in mind is that this will not help if your tape is bad. Just making that clear. So if you have a VHS deck, VCP, or VCR I would recommend this as a nice preventative measure.

Works just as advertised when the heads get dirty from old tapes. When the picture is obscured this product cleans the heads right off and you are watching videos again.

It was quick and simple to use and made the video look so much better.

this head cleaner works GREAT!! You don't have to use any liquid with it. The only thing I am unsure about is how many times you can use it before you get rid of it.

This cleaner does exactly what it says it will. It cleans the heads of your VCR. Tapes played after cleaning look and sound better.

have an older vcr and the tapes were not playing right so I bought this hoping it would fix the problem. it did not. probably need to open it and use some chemical on it to clean it properly but this did not do the trick. I assume if it just needs to be degaussed it would work good but if more than that is needed it does not work.

I am used to adding cleaning solution to the tape. This has it "built in". The quality has improved. Not sure what condition the vhs tapes are in. They are old. Since I have not cleaned it in years, I will probably run it a few more times.

I was looking to buy new vcr for recording , but no find, only for play I find, my old vcr was dirty, saying clean your vcr, so I looking for help and one employee at Fr y's store , recomend me this product and told me that they do not have but Best buy do. I bought and use , now is working fine and with the new digital tv, the recording is much better than before. I recomend to anybody who have a vcr and need clean up.

OK, the way I see things is going by Murphy's Law .... "If it ain't broke don't fix it". I do however: try to do maintenance on what I own. Granted, the VCR is OLD technology, is built-in all in one unit with my ANALOG TV (yes OLD) but up until now the unit worked and why spend $ on a DVD player/recorder. The Digital Innovations head cleaner was the solution to better recording/playback on my VCR. Using the head cleaner was easy. I simply followed the instructions and got immediate results. I will continue to use my VCR until it dies out due to old age, or until the tapes and the Digital Innovations head cleaner are no longer sold/made available.

The vhs cleaner easily cleaned my old school vhs player and made it possible to watch my old home made and unavailable videos without the potential for damaging them.

I have a combo DVD/VCR and needed a head cleaner . When I used the tapes afterwords , they played but not well enough as opposed to eating them before using cleaner

I have been converting family VHS tapes to DVD and the quality had been going downhill. I had not thought about using a head cleaner until one of the converted videos had a message on the screen to clean the heads, or something similar to that. I found them at Best Buy online, which was a great alternative to driving all over town. The cleaner arrived very quickly and I was soon converting tapes again.

This product is great if you want to keep your vcr heads clean. I have a bunch of videos from my kids and my vcr wasn’t playing right so I bought the cleaning tape and the first try the images came out super awesome.

I had an old VCR that needed cleaning and this seemed to be a great option. I was a little disappointed that it didn't come with a liquid cleaning fluid like the ones I used to get had. But, after running it through the VCR a couple of times, I could definitely see an improvement. Tapes play much cleaner now, so it works. I even let my friend borrow it and he said he noticed a huge improvement.
