Apparently my dogs needed the remote for a chew toy more than I needed it to contol the tv. I have about 3 or 4 best buys around me and all but 1 had 0 in stock so I am really happy at least one had some available. Its the same one I originally ad so im glad i dont need to relearn

I wanted ability to sit outside and play and change Directv music channels through music system. This universal remote allows me to do that.

Great replacement for the original one that is just worn out.

Excellent! Bought one for main room and bedroom, because the one's given by Directv are of course "JUNK"! They gave me 2 remotes when I started service, 1 week later their remote stopped working, I returned it and they sent me a replacement which lasted for 3 days. I decided my own equipment would be better so I purchased This remote plus another model ( same thing) from Best Buy. It is very durable easy to use and handles all features for Directv main counsel and Genie. It is worth the price paid, because if the Directv remote given goes out you are stuck for no less than 6 business days for a replacement.

Excellent TV remote for Direct TV. I didn’t even have to program it. It started working right away with the TV and the DIRECTV genie receiver box. An excellent purchase

If you have used this product before, you will get what you expect. It works as it is supposed to without any problems. My previous one totally malfunctioned after a few years of use. It could not be revived even with new batteries. If you use DirecTV receivers you should get this. It is probably the easiest way.

I have put off buying a remote do to my inability to program any remote but finally my original died. I was surprised with the ease in programming and the instructions. IT will match up with anything you got. Reasonably priced as well.

Easy to use and its universal you don't need a bunch of controllers. This one replaced one from Direct TV that was lost it was under $20.00 good deal versus what you would pay thru Direct TV for lost equipment

Works as advertised, no issues. My receiver is rather old so I was concerned this remote would not be compatible. Fortunately I had no problems.

I love this remote! Easy setup, intuitive and easy to use. Works exceptionally well with my TV (Vizio) and my DTV system.

I do not have to set up or to program the remote control, it works out of the box. All I have to do is to program it to work my TV which is Panasonic, so I can forget about the original TV control. I can one button turn on both the set top box and the TV. It is a true replacement of your direct TV remote control.

Universal Remote worked for almost 6 years without any problems. I believe i got my money worth. Lately the buttons are not responding as they should. So i purchased a new remote. Hope i get my money's worth out of this one.

Bought this for Xmas since the remote in my house was very dirty and old. Great price, I got it priced matched from home depot down to 20ish dollars. I like that this remote works for multiple direct TV models

Old remote was wore out, this one is so much nicer and works great.

Wear this out every couple of years as the buttons lose their paint. Works great like this one better than the newer smaller remotes from directv.

This is our 2nd Dtv universal remote. The first one lasted 10 years before the buttons quit working from overuse. It is easy to use and set up. Remote has buttons to advance the guide 12 hours so you can easily see what is playing in the future. Love it!

After many years my controller broke and Direct TV wanted to sell me a new one. I got the same product from Best Buy at a cheaper price. To heck with Direct TV
