This is the standard remote for older DirecTV receivers. When I upgraded to the Genie system, I got rid of all my old remotes. The remote for the Genie doesn’t fit my hand as well and is harder with arthritic fingers. Since I had returned all my remotes like this to Directv, I thought I would buy this and see if it worked with the Genie. I’m happy to say this works great and my fingers are happier with it.

This remote worked better than the Sony remote I bought and took back. It controlled all my TV functions and my old Hughes DirecTV box. I was very satisfied with this remotes ability to work everything. I would recommend this remote

Purchased this to replace the Logitech Harmony 350 remote i was using prior to this purchase.The Logitech channel up/down and numeric buttons weren't functioning.This DirecTV remote goes with my DirecTV satellite receiver and is working flawlessly so far.I was able to program this remote to operate my TV and sound bar as well.Nice to need only one remote control.

Had to buy a new remote after my dog decided to go to town on the original. It was after the store hours for the local CenturyLink / DirectTV store. I was thrilled to see Best Buy had the remote. Easy to setup and works exactly as the original did.

This replacement from Best Buy was so much cheaper than buying a replacement from my satellite service provider. It was easy to program my tv's channels and volume.

Had a smaller Directv remote that came with the package when first signed up but from what I understand this is the upgraded remote it’s twice the size and made for DirectTv subscribers took out of the box and it immediately worked the receiver without programming ! BUT I did have to follow the directions to program it to turn off my tv as well when the “off” button is pressed which was super easy with the directions and on screen prompts provided the whole process took 5 min if that so if you need a replacement and don’t want to wait to have one shipped from DirectTv just buy this one it’s perfect

Able to control all my entertainment equipment with this controller. Works as advertized, espcially with DirecTV, and was easy to set up.

It was convenient to replace my dead Direct TV remote without having to call Directv and wait to have it shipped. Price was reasonable. Remote was very easy to set up with my Samsung TV.

We use this remote control for our Direct TV. we have three of them we like it because its easy to use. They are very durable, we have dropped them many times and they still work.

We needed a replacement remote for one that was the same kind. It's easy to set up, much cheaper than ordering from our cable provider, and I don't have to wait for it.

This DIRECTV remote is probably in the top 3 most used devices in my home. Best Buy had it for a great price and I love the multi-devices that it controls.

although the remote looks like the original the electronics inside are up graded to match the newer TVs. was well eorth the price. One remote that does everthing I expect .

This remote is exactly the same as the one that came with my Directv DVR. Works same, works simply and just plain WORKS! Excellent price and availability.

Works great and easy to use. My remote broke and I had to buy the same one because it's so easy to use. The first one lasted more than 6 years.
