As much time as I spend at Best Buy, it was good to know that I can buy some Direct TV equipment, without waiting for it to arrive. I saw another Direct TV remote that I want to purchase in the future - where you can use it from another room! But I am happy with the one to replace my old beat-up remote. It was very easy to program - had that done within a few minutes of opening the package. Plus I was able to get rewards points for my purchase!

After several years, some buttons on our remote wore out.. Ordering from DirecTV would have taken weeks. Looked online and Best Buy had it in stock. It is the exact same remote (not a substitute) that DirecTV provided with our initial service. That is great since my wife did not have to learn how to use a different type of remote.

I had to get two remote control replacements for my Direct tvs, and since they weren’t in stock at several Best Buys, it had to be special ordered. I picked up the replacements a few day later. Everyone at Best Buy was very helpful at each step!

We had an old one where the buttons were worn off and didn’t work when pushing them. The new remote works great, don’t have to push hard to get it to work and looks much nicer!

This remote works well if you need it to connect to a receiver in another room or closet. We bought this one to replace our last one. However, shortly after DirectTV had to replace our receiver and a remote came with it that had IR capabilities.

My DIRECTV remote had seen better days.A few of the buttons no longer worked.It got to be very annoying.So I bought a new one at my local Best Buy.It was identical to the original.I am so happy now with my new fully functioning remote.

I didn’t work perfect. Sable to go right in the store and take the remote home and it work just like it’s advertised.

This was a lifesaver. When my month old remote suddenly stopped working and I put new batteries in it and still it wouldn’t talk to the receiver I had no idea what to do. Looking around the store I came across this replacement remote and it worked like a charm! Problem solved!

I found it easy to program. I don't care for the slider at the top of remote that you have to switch to each device to turn on/off TV. It is also pretty big and is not back lit, I have to turn on a light to find exit or guide buttons
