Purchased for a friend that had klost her remote. The setup process was quick and easy. It works well and was a lot cheaper than getting a new remote from Directv

Works much better than the remote Direct TV provided me with.

Original remote became hard to operate with in channel selection. Directv universal remote works great and is identical to the original.

Remotes take a beating over time but replacement remotes are easy to obtain and program. I've been a Directv customer for seven years and have just replaced two remotes. It's the only replacement part for Directv equipment that doesn't require a two-year commitment and tthat's a good thing.

Actually purchased this remote because our dog chewed up our previous one and wanted to help my son out because it was on his watch. It was an exact match w/ what we received after signing w/ DirectTV. Happy Dad=Happy Home

I went to Best Buy to purchase this remote because I knew it would take to long to receive it from Direct TV. I do believe the cost is higher at Best Buy than DirecTV. However, it was worth it to me to not have to wait. Remote works great. I have had no problems.

My parents Direct TV remote finally died after so many years and instead of waiting a week for a replacement from the company, I decided to pick this up and after a minute of registering she was up and running with no issue at all.

The directions for set up didn't work but all I needed to do was use the TV's instructions and it was simple. This is very easy to use but there are a few buttons I have never used.

Old remote quit working so i found this duplicate at Best Buy. Took it out of the package, put in new batteries and it worked like a charm right away. I didn't have to do any programming.

This remote worked right away. We just had to program the various codes in for the TV, stereo, etc. The price was very good, so I am very pleased with this purchase!

My previous DirecTV remote buttons were not working. So I went and buy a replacement remote control. Setting up wasn't too hard. Follow the instructions and it should not take more than 5 minutes to program.

Works just like original. Retains original settings that were programmed in remote being replaced.

Bought this because my Direct TV remotes were the new version that don't work with multiple devices well. This works great with DVD/TV/Smart TV functions.

I bought several to replace my worn out DTV remotes. They came pretty quickly, were well packaged and as advertised. They had all the easy-to-follow directions enclosed and are working perfectly.

My aunt remote was old and wasn’t working properly. She was excited when I picked up the exact Directv remote and programmed it effortlessly!
