My previous DirecTV remote buttons were not working. So I went and buy a replacement remote control. Setting up wasn't too hard. Follow the instructions and it should not take more than 5 minutes to program.

I dont know why DirecTV ever stopped using this remote. This remote is AWESOME, so much better than the short white one they ship out now. Thanks Best Buy for carrying this remote. It was shipped quickly to my house and I am loving it.

Bought this because my Direct TV remotes were the new version that don't work with multiple devices well. This works great with DVD/TV/Smart TV functions.

I bought several to replace my worn out DTV remotes. They came pretty quickly, were well packaged and as advertised. They had all the easy-to-follow directions enclosed and are working perfectly.

Exactly the same as remote that it replaced in every detail. Followed pairing instructions for Direct Tv and tv and using within 5 minutes.

After having problems with the previous remote, this new remote was a dream! Everything is very user friendly as in the buttons and their functions are clearly defined just by looking at it. Thanks again Best Buy!

It took me 3 minutes to program the remote to my vizio, I was so happy, cant wait to hook up other devices, i highly recommend this universal remote.

This was a direct replacement for the current remote control that we had for DirecTV and our audio equipment. The instructions were clear and concise and it took around 20 minutes from start to finish for all equipment.

Just worked just as great as the original one. I would recommend anyone to get it that needs a new remote.

I gave it a 4 because we couldn’t figure out how to link tv to remote. It works just fine for the guide and the channels for the cable box. I gave to use my tv remote for volume and to turn on and off tv

Remote is fine, it is the programming that is a major pain and is still only half done. Why do they have to make it SO difficult????????? Employee was helpful, however, he can't be at my home.

Needed a replacement remote for Direct TV. This works perfectly & there's no learning curve. Could have ordered from Direct TV but there would have been a wait. This was much quicker & easier.

Got the last one you had. get more. Best universal remote on the market.

I was having to push the ON button to turn off my TV with the older remote even though I programmed the remote correctly. With this version of the remote I can now push the OFF button to turn off both the TV and Directv at the same time.

Remotes always work great. No issues at all with the product. The only problem I have is that my dog thinks they work great as a chew toy too.

Too many buttons and harder to hold and change channels. The smaller remote seems to be a better fit for most older customers. Less buttons to worry about.

It's a remote to replace the old DIRECTV remote that stopped working after I dropped it one too many times. Just put batteries in, and it works - simple.

This purchase was a replacement for the same item. Following years of use a few buttons did not respond. The remote is intuitive responds quickly, and is very easy to use.

Works with TV, does what it needs to, so I am satisfied
