Out of the box it was a quick assembly to set-up the Dirt Devil's Reach Max™ Plus 3-in-1 Cordless Stick Vacuum for use. No tools were needed to put together the three main, 'Snap-In' parts, powered wand, hand vac, and carpet nozzle. My unit came fully charged so, I was ready to vacuum my floors and try this baby out in less then five minutes from opening the package. After reading the included User Manual I was ready to tackle my floors. When I first turned this baby 'ON' I noticed the Green LED indicator lights were glowing. As explained in the User Manual this is the Normal Mode. By depressing the 'ON' switch, again, I was in Boost Mode, twice the suction power of Normal, and, the LED indicator lights turned Blue. How cool is that? I vacuumed my Kitchen first, which has hard tile flooring. I was immediately impressed how this little Dirt Devil got into places my other, much more expensive vacuum couldn't go under. My Counter cabinets protrude out and are four inches above my floor. I normally would have to sweep under them to clean that area. This little 'Devil' went under them effortlessly and with room to spare. WooHoo! The Spin4Pro™ Premium Brushroll technology apparently could care less if its cleaning hard floors or carpet. There is no need for any adjustments from hard floors to carpet. I did use the Boost Mode around my electric range, an area where crumbs love to congregate, Yuk. So, on to the carpeted living room. I was pleasantly surprised by the maneuverability of the carpet nozzle. It swivels horizontally, approximately thirty degrees in either direction, making this lightweight unit so maneuverable. It cleaned my carpets so thoroughly, it filled the dirt cup up in ten minutes. This little 'Devil' also allowed me to vacuum under chairs and couches, that before I had to move to vacuum under. I love this feature. Since I have arthritis in my hands I really appreciated the swivel, lightweight-build, and that the top unit, hand vac, is approximately four pounds. It seemed top-heavy at first, but after repeated vacuuming, it is so light I can easily handle the Hand Vac positioned on top. I was amazed how this Dirt Devil Detachable Hand Vac cleaned my SUV. The powerful suction and Boost Mode allowed no sand, dirt, or debris to escape. I highly recommend the purchase of this Dirt Devil's Reach Max™ Plus 3-in-1 Cordless Stick Vacuum. It's price point is a bargain compared to the cleaning power, maneuverability, versatility, convertibility, and User-Friendly operation. Besides buying it for yourself, this would make a great gift for a newlywed, college student in a dorm room, bachelor or bachelorette in an apartment, family member just out on their 'own', or anyone 'special' on your list. Good vacum and good mobility but is quite heavy. Stairs accessory really good

Dirt Devil is definitely making a comeback with this stick vac. Over the years i've used quite a few stick vacs and car vacs, all of which were more expensive than this one. However, this one is definitely just as good if not better because of the price. Some of the things I like are that it's light, easy to navigate, has a long lasting battery and it comes with a two brush attachments. The smaller brush works great in the car and the larger one works great on the carpeted stairs. There are a few cons which have nothing to do with performance. one is that it's not very good looking and the other is that it feels cheap. Aside from that it's actually a really good stick vac.

Loved this .lightweight vacuum until today (9. Months after purchase) the vacuum head broke away from the hose. It will still function, somewhat, but it is more difficult to maneuver! Makes me sic!

I love this vacuum. Its very modular, you can use the long rod to use it as regular carpet and hard floor vacuum, it can even swivel! I love that you can also take out the long rod and it becomes a very powerful handy vacuum. I used to have those small ones that sell on walmart (I think they were a dust buster brand) but this one blows them out of the water. Extremely more powerful and the battery lasts way longer. I just took it to clean my 2 cars and the battery was still on 3 lines of full charge. Amazing!! In short, it can be a full blown vacuum or a handy one!

This is my 2nd high powered cordless vacuum and I was very pleased with its performance. Pros: - It comes with a 2 year warranty. Most vacuums are only 1 year. - When using the floor brush, it has a nice swivel function to make it easy to turn. - The crevice attachment is handy for vacuuming in between cushions. - There are two suction power levels. You can conserve battery life or use the boost mode for the heavier jobs. - The dust bin is easy to detach and empty/clean. Cons: - The wall mount comes with 3M tape but no screws. I guess you have to supply the screws yourself. I suggest mounting with screws as the vacuum is fairly heavy. I'm not sure that 3M tape will do the job long term. - Including an extra filter would have been a nice touch. At the current price point, this vacuum is a bargain and I highly recommend it.

This Dirt Devil is a beast. It cleans spider webs really well and is nice and compact. It is a bit heavy though when trying to hold it up to the ceiling while vacuuming webs, but this is expected as the battery is attached to make it wireless. When clearing out the dirt/dust, it is also difficult to completely remove all of the dirt/dust from the container, so you will likely need a moist towel to clean the rest of it, or clean it in the sink. Overall this vacuum is a great value and gets the job done.

Excellent for using on tile or hard surfaces to get those elusive dust bunnies! Light and easy to use but seems fragile if it gets dropped.

I needed a small dust buster type of vacuum and this does the trick. Pretty powerful little machine

I love this thing! Took 5 minutes to assemble. As much as I wanted to try it out I know you gotta charge things fully first. Initial charge took about 3 hours as I anxiously watched the blinking light get closer and closer. Finally we are at Max power and I am in a frenzied state. I activate the blue rocket and she takes off like a stallion. We have 2 dogs in FL so the blanket of hair is every present. This beast attacked and didn't stop. Instant results as I watched the debris cup slowly fill with every morsel it came across. 25 minutes later and I still have power. Love this machine, complete game changer at a very reasonable price.

This vacuum solves all my issues with our old heavy corded vac! Easy to assemble, and a breeze to use! Stores easily behind basement door too!

So I bought this quite a few months ago, and after use over time I have to say I'm not impressed, at all, and learned this is quite impractical. 1. The battery life is okay, nothing extremely notable. It holds pretty true to advertised time, of course using the powered brush diminishes battery much more quickly. 2. Suction power is decent, however, the canister is designed in a way that hair or other objects like it can quickly clog the area that creates suction. 3. The crevice tool is an absolute piece of junk. After just months of light usage, it's actually falling apart on the end. 4. There are so many areas I can't clean in my apartment now due to the design of this unit. Without a hose (or ability to get one for this, you can't) the units size makes it impossible to clean in spots for me. Big downfall. 5. This is the first time after only a few months I'm replacing a vacuum. It's sad I ditched my last Shark cause I went hardwood and it wasn't designed for that. This may be good on hardwood, but that's it. 6. This is so bad it's actually going in the garbage after a few months, I couldn't even see selling it locally to someone, it's resale is probably crap and I'd feel bad for whomever I'd sell it to.

I had gotten the Dyson V8 which I used about 10 times before it broke down within a few months. I had thankfully purchased the protection plan but was so disappointed in Dyson that I decided I would buy a much cheaper vacuum since I figured they all probably broke down easily. Well I was pleasantly surprised! I use my Dirt Devil daily and it works great. It has great suction and the battery lasts much longer than the 20 minutes stated in the description.

Works well in fast clean up situations. Easy to use. Charge lasts long enough for most jobs.

This vacuum seems to do the job well. Carpet and hard floor. Cordless and, therefore, convenient. It’s awkward due to too heaviness. Meaning the weight distribution is a little unbalanced while using it, but not to a great degree. It also doesn’t have a way to stand up on its own. You either have to store it in a wall mount (included in the box) or lean it against something. Overall, a good product.

Works well. Battery lasts long enough to vacuum 700sq ft house. Disassembles fairly easy but dist and dirt builds up at the bottom of the vacuum after the roller which is hard to clean along with the area that goes into the canister. Has to be cleaned after every other use.

Makes cleaning easy with no cord. Gets clogged occasionally but a good vacuum.

I am not thrilled with this product. I don't feel that it gets much deep suction. It works okay for surface dirt, and hard floors. However, it is extra handy for stairs, and small area rugs. The charge holds okay if you don't use the max suction, but unless I'm doing a quick cleanup you need the max!
