I've bought and played every Disgaea. The last one Disgaea 5, had so much stuff. The number of classes, monsters, magichange, etc. It was actually intimidating. Disgaea 6 simply doesn't have the some number of systems. Whether this is good or bad is going to be a matter of personal opinion. The gfx are no 3D instead of sprites. You get more but less at the same time. Lets same team attacks, in Disgaea 6 you can have 10 allies join attack at once... but you get no fancy cutsceen of your group bouncing around an enemy. All you get when it triggers is just the faces of everyone participating pops up for a second. Overall fights are faster and may have bigger numbers, but maybe Disgaea 6 has less charm then its prior installments.

If you are a fan of this series this recent entry will not disappoint. Hopefully they don’t come out with a complete version 6 months from now.

If you like disgaea there is nothing much new here. It’s pretty much the same game. I liked 5 better but still enjoyed this one

I've played every disgaea and when I saw it on my local best buy shelf I just had to buy a copy and I've been playing it since I got home

An excellent sequel to Disgaea 5 in almost every way! A better cast of characters and story makes this the superior entry in my opinion.

Very fun game in classic Disgaea mode. Many hours of gaming and side quests.

Really good tactical role playing game. I wouldn't say the best in the series but def. worth playing.

While the level cap was increased, the amount of work to level up was reduced and feels much less rewarding. The auto battle feature also makes this feel more like an idle game where you wait for your characters to be strong enough. The story has the same charm as the others in this series but doesnt have the gameplay to back it up.

Fantastic game! If you're a fan of the strategy rpg genre. You're in for a treat with this one!

Much easier than other Disgaea games. Im not sure I like this 3D approach but it's something new to the series
