This is an excellent teaching tool. Please note that there are no random cards in here so there are no chase cards, however there are a few decent cards in the sets. I love how they give you various play styles to learn so that you can see how other decks function. I highly recommend for all new players.

Also i gotta say I really love the solid 2 player board it comes with, definitely will be using it when I play in the future.

Not the best bang for your buck

Personally it doesn’t interest me. I’d much rather buy troves or booster boxes. Ursula’s illumineer’s quest is epic however. I’d recommend that over this and the amethyst starter deck is a lot of fun.
