Good starter deck has good cards to get you going and customise

Pre-ordered 2 and got them today hoping to receive the different styles and what do I get… 2 of the same? Going to see if i can return one and keep the other…hopefully they wont give me a hard time! Best Buy, you have to operate better than this! 2 Stars for getting half the order right…

This starter set offers a captivating entry point into the game. The cards within boast beautiful artwork and intriguing abilities. The amber and amethyst colors provide a balanced and synergistic playstyle. New players will find this set easy to learn, while experienced players can appreciate the strategic depth. It's a fantastic way to begin or expand your card game collection. Only downside is that the box was damaged.

Lorcana is a lot of fun, but as most TCG games go it is being sorta taken over by adult children that can't let go of their past and refuse to pass it on to their own children. It also promotes gambling, which I'm not against until your product is marketed at children. Each pack has a chance of having more rare cards pop up, which can be worth anything form a few dollars up to a thousand or more. This has caused a number of issues for TCG games, the most notable is that it can be difficult to even purchase the game as scalpers end up buying the majority of the stock that could have the more rare cards and reselling them at a much higher rate. The companies that make these cards, and the businesses that sell them typically do not care if this happens as long as they're still selling them at a profit. This ruins these types of games, but it does also make them last longer. That would be a very negative comment if you replace the Lorcana cards with something like Cigarettes... Just saying...

I’m a big fan of Magic and other deck building games, and this is up there with the best of them! Beautiful artwork, fun game play, creative strategy; Disney Lorcana has it all!

As I stated in a previous review, I bought this and another for my daughter and I to play this TCG game together. These starter decks give you everything you need to learn the game and have some good times. Now, hopefully I can get her into Pokémon next

This is a good expansion for those into lorcana the card game.

Bought the Amber/Amethyst starter deck in store on sale for $12. The two characters on the box are the foil cards you'll get. It comes with 60 cards; a few are duplicates. A fun game to play with others.
