I loved to watch the movie Mulan growing up--it was one of my very favorite Disney movies! I remember having sleepovers and slumber parties with friends; when we got together as kids, this was often the movie that we chose to watch. We all loved to watch it; sometimes we'd even take turns play-acting and singing the songs from the movie, rating each other on how well we did. I just watched Mulan again last night, the 1st time as an adult. I must admit that I still think that it's excellent. I don't really watch kids' TV shows/movies anymore, so it's not often that I see the Disney (and other company) movies/shows that I grew up with. But the other day, I heard some reference to Mulan, and that got me to thinking about it. So I bought Mulan, to watch for 'old times' sake'. Having just seen it for the first time since childhood, I must say that I was quite impressed. I enjoyed it immensely; the plot, characters/animation/voices, the precise timing of it all, the music--the entire production was superb! It is entertaining for all ages and all groups of people, and I highly recommend it! It even has some things thrown into the movie to catch the interest of adults/parents--some history, symbols, even some 'adult' jokes and double-meanings. But it is all tasteful and appropriately done--any of the more 'adult' content is above the heads of children, and even that content is not gross, distasteful, or unsavory in any way...it's just more funny to adults than it is to kids. I give this movie, "Mulan," a 5-star rating. If I could, I'd give it 6 stars! I highly recommend it. It's a perfect movie to sit and watch with your kids, (maybe better for at least 6-7 years old kids and older). It is well done. My compliments to everyone that worked on this project! P.S. The voice-acting of Mushu, the dragon, was out-of-this-world! I think that it literally could not be better... Amazing job!

Best movie. One of the nrw classic. Keeps the disney spirit

Just like most people 56 years old and I am a big fan of Disney especially it's animated movies. The movie Mulan is very well written the story is incredible but yet a little far-fetched. If a woman of ancient China did this she would have been beheaded on the spot but yet because it's Disney they can change the story. Mulan tries to save her aging father from going to war by taking his place. That in itself is a reason for execution and ancient China. She's successful and becomes soldier thankfully without being found out. She actually saves the young captain and her troops from the Han. And she winds up saving the emperor and getting his good graces. It's 2D animation with a great story great details and it's well worth any Disney collection.

Mulan is the latest Disney animated classic to receive the 4K treatment, complete with a Dolby Atmos track. Similar to other Disney releases the 4K HDR release is printed on the disc, yet if you want to watch the Dolby Vision release (which is superior) you'll need to stream it with the included MoviesAnywhere code. Also bundled is the standard Bluray release for those who may not have but plan to upgrade to 4K. While disappointing that Dolby Vision is not part of the physical set, it is nice to have the option to stream it should your ISP provide a decent connection. All around this is the best way to experience this classic at home complete with all of it's legendary soundtrack.

While the blu-ray release a few years ago was great, this 4K is even better. Picture is even more stable, and the HDR really shines. Colors are deeper and contrast pops more. All the extras are the same from the blu-ray and are only on the included blu-ray as usual for 4K releases. For some reason, Disney decided not to include Mulan II and the couple extras it had. While I'm not surprised they didn't do a new 4K remaster of the sequel, it's kind of odd it wasn't included on the blu-ray considering it fit on the old blu-ray. So if you have the old blu-ray and like Mulan II, be sure to keep it.

Our family loves the cartoon version of Disney’s Mulan. Far superior to the “Live Action” version in our opinion. The picture and sound quality are amazing. The color depth is tremendous, picture is very cleaned up. I have a 7.2.4 Atmos/DTS Home Theater and the sound quality is much improved over the BluRay and especially the DVD. I highly recommend this 4K version.

this is better than the live remake one. i mean i dont know what to say about this, its just really good and simple about a girl trying to prove to herself and to her father that she is worthy of bringing honor into the family in another ways instead of getting married

With the MASSIVE disappointment of the new Mulan film, I had to show my love for the original animation by purchasing Mulan in 4k. And I definitely do not regret it. As one of my favorite childhood films, it is fantastic seeing it in a higher quality than ever before

This has been a family favorite since our kids were little and we saw it in theaters. Our daughter (30) still hums some of the songs to her daughter! We owned the movie on DVD, which really doesn't hold up! We really enjoyed the new presentation!

The 4K looks great watched on my OLED TV and the colors pop unfortunately didn’t know the aspect ratio wasn’t the same one as my tv

Have always loved Milan. Decided to own a copy. Love the live-action version, also, but the original animated brings back good memories.

One of the few titles I was missing from Disney. One of the greatest animated role models put to screen, Mulan shines.

Love this movie. Saw it when I was a kid and haven’t seen it since. I haven’t watched it yet because I’m busy but I will soon

The animated classic storms the lands of Ultra HD with a gorgeous 4K video, a satisfying Dolby Atmos soundtrack but the same set of bonuses as before. Nevertheless, the package makes a worthy, Recommended addition to the 4K UHD collection

Great price on the 4K version. My daughters like the cartoon better than the live action so this was a great gift idea.
