Got lucky on the refurbished unit, never flown! Overall a great drone and small to use. Great for beginner pilots!

the drone arrived with a broken gimbal I should have done my homework this thing has absolutely terrible reviews (refurbished version at least) never again from now on I'll just stick to new i guess the old saying is true "you get what you pay for"

This was supposed to be a certified refurbished drone. When I received the drone, it was obvious it had been used, and it appeared no one went through the drone prior to me receiving the drone. It was boxed sloppily, the propellers were not placed on the drone as they would have been new. The camera was missing the Gimbal Camera Lens Frame Lid Front Cap Cover which was easy to see as soon as you take the gimble protection cover off. I tried to fly the drone and it could not keep the known elevation at takeoff. When trying to land it would hover at approximately 7 feet and the controller would read at 0 elevation and the drone would not go any lower. I had to reach into the battery button and shut it off while it was stuck hovering and try not to get hit by the propellers and damage the drone or my hand.

If you’re just getting into drone photography, especially for personal use this is the drone for you. I recommend it 100%.

I also had bought the refurbished and it came with a broken gimble. I took it into the store and they offered a discounted price of the difference for a new one. I almost wonder if they’re doing this refurbished stuff to get us into the store. Either way the dudes were nice about it and it was a quick process. The refurbished products need to be better.

Fantastic product, excellent camera footage. Great battery life and easy to maneuver. The sensors are a must!

Well, I should have known better. After reading all the negative reviews, I still decided to try my luck and thought surely Best Buy must be aware of all the issues these refurbished units have had, so the Geek Squad MUST be checking to make sure the previous owner's account isn't still active before sending the units out now, right? WRONG! After excitedly waiting a couple days for it to arrive and stupidly buying a few accessories before it got here, I opened the box and powered on the controller to find that it was still signed in to the previous owner. Interestingly, I could see the flight history, so this drone was flown for a total of 1.66 hours on December 25 and 26 of 2022. Save the headache, stay away from these refurbished units. The Geek Squad clearly hasn't gotten their stuff together on these and I'm guessing when I return this, they'll just send it out to another sucker to repeat the cycle.

Make sure it is not paired. The first one was .so it was unusable. The next one was fine. Works great.

Order came in about 1 week, and ive been flying it every other day since. I recommend buying some free world nd filters off amazon. Tends to over expose filming in auto mode.

Everything seem s to be in good shape. The nail I noticed a couple weeks later the I could not mount a filter to the lens because the tabs had been broken off. I highly recommend that nobody buys Best Buy renewed, Geek Squad Inspected, or Best Buy refurbished products. The amount saved is the amount to send it to the manufacturer for repair. Highly dissatisfied. Do not fall for it!

Was supposed to be 'Refurbished' but previous owners info was still in the data bank. Some Rotor blades were missing also. Have to contact DJI to figure-out how to re-register it into my name. Will recommend it for someone who knows how to work on a 'Refurbished' Drone.

The drone arrived 1 day earlier than I was first told it would arrive. It works perfectly, I just had to log out the previous owner.

Poor…. Product was still registered to past purchaser for product checked by Geek Squad and certified??? Best Buy should be embarrassed!!!

Dji should be really concerned. Best buy claiming these are refurbished when dji indicated to me they are not. Drone shows heavy use along with wear and tear! Drone is even still bound and registered by previous owner making the drone an expensive paper weight. Dji indicated they can not remotley unbind the previous owner account making the drone useless. I will be returning. Dont buy used drones from best buy!

Great drone!!!very good product in general,very capable and amazing technology

Item arrived in non functioning condition. Device read "ESC Error". After speaking with DJI Customer service they advised me that this means that one of the motors isn't working correctly, therefore the unit will not fly. It states that the Geek Squad thoroughly tests these units before selling...I find that highly unlikely. Additionally, the unit reads 179 days left on warranty... Bestbuy said it will be 12 months... BestBuy customer service was not very halpfull in rectifying the situation either. very dissapointed with my experiance with this.

Love It. Sold Air 2S to have more flight time and less weight.
