I bought the stand alone mavic pro so I bought the extra battery separately. I'm not a professional videographer so in a practical sense one battery might be enough. I typically stop on the way home from work or school and stop for about a half hour to fly and take pictures and video. The only time I've used both batteries is when I've taken my kids with me and they all take turns. The battery does have a cool feature where if you tap the button it will give you estimate of how much charge the battery has. Since I have 2, I usually fly until I drain the battery then swap out and use the fresh one next time I fly. I'll charge the spent one and keep it in the camera bag in case I feel like flying longer. Pay attention to the warnings that come with the battery. There is limit in temperature that these batteries will operate. Too hot or too cold and the battery will drain and/or not function properly. This can lead to lost or damaged drone. If you're a pro or semi pro you probably want to have 2 spares to allow yourself plenty of time to create.

I purchased the basic DJI and it has only one battery, with all the flying this is a must to have an extra in your backpack, works great no glitches.

Battery works great as it should! It is $89.99 but Best Buy often runs specials that bring it down to $82.

You will have so much fun with your Mavic you certainly need to to 3 packs minimum up to 4 to 5 if you want to have hours of enjoyment between charges

This was my third one! Might buy 5 more and another 4 port charger to make it so I can fly half the day and take my mavic backpacking with out a worry

Good battery for the drone. Extends the flying time.

This battery is just as advertised. When fully charged the Mavic Pro can fly for about 22-25 minutes. Flight times do vary with wind conditions.

It's just an additional battery for a Mavic Pro. Having an extra battery gives plenty of flight time and Best Buy had it on sale.

Works, fits in the drone. No complaints. Black in color, For storage you are suppose to powere it down to fifty percent or less.

Lasts over 20 min (doing still photography) and just a little less when flying like a mad man! Lightweight and fully adequate

No much to review here, it's not like we have many options. However, it works great. I'll take 20 minutes in the air anytime.

this is a very good battery to use aa a back up in an emergency situation and will be able to enjoy drone even better now

This OEM battery comes direct from DJI. It works as well as the battery included in the Mavic Pro. I've never had a battery failure yet. Highly recommended (there are no alternatives, to my knowledge, anyway). Hint: Get the low-noise propellers if you'd like to extend your flight time!

I'm so glad that DJI has finally come up with a quadcopter that uses a smaller battery with longer flight time. It sure makes the batteries a lot cheaper! This $90 battery last longer and weighs less than the $150 Phantom 3 flight battery. It works well and I recommend only buying DJI batteries for your expensive quadcopter investment.

If you fly the Mavic Pro, you need an extra battery, in fact, get as many as you can, to keep flying for longer periods!

Just picked up a extra one for my go every were drone bag the more you have the longer time you have to enjoy flight.

This battery is made by DJI specifically for the Mavic Pro. Having an additional battery extends flying time by double!

This battery works just like the one that came with the mavic. It routinely lasts over 20 minutes which is great.

Great spare battery for your mavic. Can’t really say much, it’s a battery lol. Works great, 25 min flight time.

DJI is a great brand. I wanted to get the best battery for my drone and I feel I did that with this one.
