As a new quad pilot, I found this amazingly easy to use. I watched plenty of youtube on this machine. Everyone seems to be quite impressed. I am as well. Simply stunning footage. It opens up a whole new world of photography previously unavailable to the average person. I believe DJI makes an incredible product that is stable and very user friendly. Have flown for a couple of weeks and so far, no incidents. just don't use it in a manner it was not designed and you should be fine.

The drone takes great images. The color accuracy is, really, good as well. But you need to know the proper settings on how to use it before flying or taking videos and photos. I suggest watching videos on youtube on how to properly take photos and videos with it, and the proper settings. I also suggest learning how to edit your photos and videos by using Blackmagic (for the ones who want pro editing for free), and Adobe Lightroom for editing photos. There are many great features of the drone, and I hope my review will help you decide whether to buy this. I could write a whole chapter on the good parts of this drone. But to put it simply, I LOVE IT! P.S. The photo’s that are at the bottom might not look as good as they would usually be.

I have owned and flown many DJI drones since the Phantom 1 came out several years ago. By far the Mavic 2 Pro is the best drone I have used. Setup was easy out of the box. Stability in the wind is superior to the other drones I have owned. Quiet flight is really welcome...until you realize how dependent on the sound of the drone to help locate it in the sky. Camera is far better that the Phantom 4 pro in almost every way. It does lack 4K 60p. The size means that I carry it far more often and don't need a large case.

As a novice to drone flight I was intimidated at first. I started slowly investigating each of the built in functions one at a time. It is packed with so many options I have barely scratched the surface. This is an amazing piece of technology. The Hazzelblad camera has produced some amazing, sharp images. The drone is extremely stable in most (reasonable) wind conditions. I quickly found it useful to have a second battery. A normal charge will allow about 20-minutes of flight.

This drone is awesome love everything about it. Definitely worth the money, had the drone for about 3 months camera quality is the best, picture and video come out really great. I love the sport mode goes really fast but beware obstacles avoidance is off. Bought the fly more kit for the extra batteries and multi charger. Love to travel and site seeing definitely taking it with me. Trust me you won’t be disappointed. Before you buy I would check your FAA rules and airspace in your area. I’m an a hobbyist.

This is a wonderful platform for photography and videography. The aircraft is very stable, even in strong winds, and the camera provides stunning photos and videos. There is a small learning curve to master all of the abilities off this drone. That being said the basic skills are easy to master. Another plus is the portability this drone provides. If you buy the fly more kit, the drone, 2 spare batteries, the charging cables, 3 sets of spare props, the controller, multiple SD cards, and all the spare cables fit comfortably.

Awesome drone. I chose this for the intelligent modes, sensors, and stability. All of the above are true but I was surprised by the quality of the photos and videos. I took photos of my roof, and then downloaded on the computer for enlarge view. Wow the quality is stunning and I could see cracks in the roofing tiles and areas that small animals could sneak into my attic. Got them fixed in time. Thanks mavic.

It’s almost impossible to crash. It’s got sensors all over that’ll prevent it from hitting anything. You don’t have to worry about it running out of battery and falling out of the sky. It will calculate how much battery it needs to return and land safely and once that percentage is reached it will automatically return safely on its own. It’s super easy to use manually but the features are where it shines as well

The Mavic 2 pro is great. I have both the Mavic Air and mini and added to my fleet of drones. DJI is the drone leader in my opinion. The Mavic 2 is one of the most stable drones I’ve flown and highly recommend it. Very easy to fly and the pictures and videos are second to none. I have nothing but good things to say about this drone.

This is my first drone and I can't believe I waited this long to get one. Super easy to fly, pictures and videos are awesome. It was a bit pricey but I certainly got what I paid for. I don't usually buy the latest and greatest technology but I figured if this drone was as good as the reviews and specifications said it was it probably be the only one I would ever need. I think that might be the case.

This is a great upgrade from the previous Mavic Pro. Not saying the previous model is bad as it is a really good drone as well. The Mavic 2 is exceptional with the new camera. You can really tell the difference in the quality of the photos it takes as well as video. The flight time is a little longer but I would say maybe a five minute difference. I never flew my previous Mavic in any strong winds. But today I flew the Mavic 2 Pro in about 20 to 25 mph gusts and I did not drift at all. I did get the high wind warning and it used up the battery quicker. But for the quick shots that I wanted to get while traveling it did great. Also I did not notice any difference in the sound of the drone. It’s stated to be quieter but can not really tell. Another great addition is the updated controller. The joy stick are removable and are stored in the controller when folded up. This make its great for packing everything into a backpack when hiking. The one downside I with the new drone is the gimbal cover. It does seem to scratch the top of the camera by the way it installs. Also it does not stay on well when you have it packed in a bag. If anything bumps it, it tends to come unclipped. I would suggest going with a after market gimbal cover. Overall this is a great drone with great updates.

As DJI moves more to the smaller discreet chassis of the Mavic 2, from the bulky non aerodynamic Phantom series, They are packing these birds with a multitude of value. Multiple avoidance sensors from all angles, extended flight times and the best camera to date make this a professionals dream. Rock solid stability and phenomenal phot and video quality.

Great quality drone. Expensive but you get what you pay for. Camera quality is great, and very easy to control, just make sure if you do turn obstacle avoidance off be very careful. Made that mistake and had a light crash, but drone held up well flew it for 20 mins the next day no problems, only damage was to a prop

Longer Flight time than our previous drone, which was a Phantom 3 Pro, as well as lighter, smaller, more portable, and with a better camera. Also has plenty of great and extremely helpful intelligent flight modes. I'd recommend it to anyone seeking to pursue drone imagery professionally.

Finally I got it, I used this type of drone while but that one belonged to my friend he also bought it from bestbuy shop, and now I have it. hats off to the developers and engineers of this drone it is very easy to use long life battery and decent amount of flying time. it is worth buying.

The DJI Mavic 2 Pro is an amazing drone to fly, and the images it lets me create are equally stunning. Even more exciting was the fact that I ordered it on a Friday, and BestBuy offered free expedited shipping so that I received it the following Friday. A spectacular purchase all 'round

After getting my "feet wet" with the DJI Phantom 3 Standard, I wanted to get an upgrade into something that could truly capture amazing photos and videos, but also be portable enough to take just about anywhere. The size and foldability of the aircraft making it really convenient to pack in the Fly More pouch and throw over my shoulder for whatever adventure I'm heading out to. Once at the site, the Mavic folds open quickly and easily, connects seamlessly with the controller and iPad, and up, up and away it goes! The camera is wonderful! You can just click the photo button, and out come spectacular photos. If you're more adept at creating full feature photos, you have a large selection of configuration changes you can make to get that "perfect" picture. The powerful Hasselblad 20MP 1” sensor grabs a massive amount of light information for fuller and more colorful pictures. I have not been disappointed with it's performance. I'm still learning how to best operate the drone and the camera, but I am fully satisfied with my purchase.

It’s a great drone. It’s easy to fly and the camera is great. It folds up which makes it easy to travel with. My only complaint is you can’t mount your iPhone on the controller while it’s in an otter box case (this was not an issue with the Phantom 4). I also dealt with an issue where the controller and drone wouldn’t recognize the phone connected. The solution I found was to 1) turn on the controller with phone disconnected 2) turn on drone 3) turn your phone off (weird I know) connect your phone to the controllers cable - this then causes your phone to power on and the controller recognizes it. It was a strange process but for some reason after doing that 8 or more times, there doesn’t seem to be an issue anymore. Overall a great drone with more features than I need.

I already own the DJI Spark, which I like very much. The Mavic 2 Pro on the other hand is awesome. The camera, flight distance and time, speed can't be beat. The only issue is the price which Bestbuy makes easier to deal with with no interest financing.

This drone requires no significant assembly, is user friendly and light to pack. The battery life is more than adequate and the controls very responsive. The avoidance of obstacles is good but not perfect so the operator should take caution.
