This thing is amazing and so much fun. It takes amazing photo and video. Has the ability to do a 3 and 5 stop AEB to create amazing HDR photos in post. Easy to fly really stable and just loads of fun. Longest flight time so far is approx 26 minutes.

Having parked my first-generation of this drone into a tree more than once while performing a strafing/side maneuver on more than one occasion, it is nice to see that they have implemented more sensors and cameras onto the unit. Having more sensors means that the chance of crashing and damaging your drone is reduced. So not having downtime or having to pay extra for damage protection means that this drone will end up as a lower cost drone than the prior model, and provide a superior experience with less downtime. Plus, it has a better camera for low-light situations whereas the previous model was worthless once the sun begins to set. Satisfied with my purchase, yes. I only wish that BB offered the Fly More Combo or at least the individual batteries so that I could continue flying while charging a battery.

Five OMG's. This wizardry is AWESOME. I wonder why there are no American companies who build such cool things? Got it to do survey and 3d modeling work. I bought it to prevent my having to drive to a site I'm working on that is more than an hour from my home, more than I needed to. The drive is long and I prefer to avoid it if / when possible. I was going to build a top map with lasers and it was cold and rainy and it took all day just to take some preliminary pictures and measurements of the site. After going home and scratching my head a bit I was struck that Best buy has drones. So I researched and bought this one. OMG. Took my 1/2 hour to figure hour how to fly it and within an hour I had shot images in automated flight around and over my house. Within 6 hours I had tested some software (free trial) and built my first 3 d map of a site. OMG, did I say that? VERY VERY VERY happy.... even if it isn't made in America.

I found this drone to be the easiest of all my drones to fly. It also gets one heck of a picture. I would say because it's ease to set up and fly it is a great beginner drone, but, the price is a bit steep for that.

It is easy to control and very stable even in winds. My 8 old grand child easily mastered the controls as if you let go of the joy sticks it simply hoovers in place. We are using it for still pictures. Recording our travels. It has high a quality lens that you can adjust exposure for any lighting. The lens doesn't zoom in picture mode, however one can blow up the photo easily and with clarity. I live the country and it is a lot lot of fun to just open it up and burn figure 8's. I getting use to flying without visual contact via the camera and it's gps guidance map in the lower corner. If all else fails there is a return home button which works quite well. Also they is settings which prevent you for running into thing. Battery life is about 25 minutes on average. I like this one a lot.

This by far is the easiest to travel with and gives you amazing quality video. At first, I wasn't sure what to think about this small packaged drone but after using it for the last year (this is my second one)this is a huge tool in my arsenal for video. I've been hired by so many different companies in various states to do video work and being able to condense all my gear into an easy road trip set up is necessary. Lightweight, easy to set up, and can capture amazing 4k video as well as pictures. I'm so glad I bought this. If you are thinking about it I recommend getting an extra battery or two if you will be using this to film for work.

    Mavic 2 Pro Still Shines

I've been flying drones for over 8 years now. I fly heavy lifts, Inspire 2's, Mavics, FPV- you name it. We're in production and you have probably seen some of our commercials and movies that we have worked on. One that you might have seen is Drake's video "Laugh Now Cry Later." Hands down, the DJI Mavic 2 Pro provides the best bang for your buck. The once inch sensor on the M2 along with the safety features makes it an outstanding piece of equipment. If you like taking photos, this drone takes fantastic pictures. Will it beat an A7R3 or A7R4 in the air? Of course not but does will it cost $8000+ for the drone, gimbal, camera, and lens? Nope. Video isn't half bad either. It's a compact unit that you can throw in your backpack. Is it more capable than the Mavic Mini 2 and the Mavic Air 2? Yup. While a little older on their line-up, the Mavic 2 Pro still holds its own. Combined with the DJI Smart Controller, this piece of equipment is killer. Will it turn you into the next Quentin Tarantino or Bob Richardson? Nope. That just takes time, practice, and innate skill. Will it get you cool shots that you can show off to friends? Yup. Just don't forget to register your drone and if you decide you want to use it for commercial purposes to take your Part 107 exam. A few notes: Read the manual. There are some very important calibrations you need to do before flying for the first time. If you are a new remote pilot, do not take it out of beginner mode until you have some experience. Fly in a wide open space when first starting out. Always check your airspace- a great resource is the FAA website. Go to FAA Home->Unmanned Aircraft Systems->Getting started. As with any drone, battery management is key. Never leave batteries in a fully charged state even if they are smart batteries that self discharge. Make sure that you drain them to around 50% and don't let them sit around. Take good care of them- don't leave them in the sun and practice good battery management.

I bought this drone as a gift for my boyfriend who absolutely loved it since he had been asking for it for some time. He flew it recording nature, using it for business shots for marketing and making cool videos when we went hiking through the woods or on vacation together. The blades are replaced easily and the insurance would definitely be recommended since you can crash it into something easily if you don’t steer it carefully. Overall tons of fun and I don’t regret spending the amount I did when this first was launched.

I am a proud Inspire 2 owner. However awesome that drone is, it certainly is cumbersome to take out and play with. The Mavic solves that problem very easily. Its legs fold into it's body and the propellers fold in half, making it very portable, which is great for traveling! Not only that, if I want to go out and fly for a bit, the Mavic is easy to get going. The camera quality on this Pro unit is really good. A lot of outdoor photography benefits for ample amounts of sunlight. I can't speak for its night skills but I suspect it will not disappoint. I am really pleased with it.

Even though this drone is the best one on the market right now, doesn’t mean it’s the right drone for you. If you are going to use it for professional photos then look no further the Hasslebad camera is fantastic (the 1 in aperture makes a huge difference)! If you are more recreational, then honestly the Mavic Pro 1 or Mavic Air might be better for you. I love this drone don’t get me wrong but it costs DOUBLE those other ones and those other ones still take phenomenal pictures and 4K video. If you have the extra $$ to spend and want to look flashy then go right ahead

Been using this for a year now and so happy with it. It is very easy to learn to use and the DJI app is very well laid out. I mainly use it just for still photography but the video is good also. I average about 23 minutes of flying time before battery is down to about 20% and that has been plenty of time for me.

I am a first time user of a drone and have purchased this drone for use in real estate. It is extremely easy to start flying the drone just follow the instructions and tutorial. The safety items the drone uses makes it easy to start using without fear of crashing it into nearby objects. The images, I only have taken still pictures, are extremely sharpe, clear and excellent color. I am still using it in the beginner mode but I can not wait to start using it in standard modes and testing more functions. If you have the money this is a great drone for beginners as well experts.

I have been shopping and comparing drones for a few years. After extensive research I felt as though DJI makes the best drones for both beginners and experienced pilots. The DJI Mavic 2 is an awesome aircraft. I went with the Mavic 2 Pro for the camera. The Zoom has a great camera as well but the Pro camera has the features that fit me needs. The drone itself is well built, small enough for easy transport and powerful enough to fly in moderate winds with no issues. While some say it's not a professional drone, it is also not a toy. The quality of the aircraft and camera allows for use in a professional environment.

As a novice, learning how to fly the drone was fairly easy and straight forward. It has enough safety measures and drone settings to allow you to grow as a pilot and really get a feel for it. Haven’t had any issues yet and have only had to recalibrate the compass twice since I started flying. I would suggest buying extra batteries if you plan to fly for long periods at a time since each fully charged battery is giving me about 28 minutes of flight time. This is considering the fact that I fly in LA and the winds aren’t exactly constant or low.
