This drone is, in a word, amazing. It's super easy to fly with the screen (which really just runs the DJI app) built right into the remote control and that's how you set it up / register it as well. You can download offline maps, add an MicroSD card (exFAT format) and so on right from the controller as well as updating the firmware for both the drone and the controller. Once you get it up and flying, it's fast and nimble but also super stable - it takes off for you and avoids obstacles. It also defaults to a stable hover even in a wind (well, I haven't tried it in a wind storm...but in a light to middling wind) which is huge. It's easy to fly and easy to get the shots you want. The cameras are FANTASTIC in both video and photo usage - you get lots of control over the camera settings but even the automatic settings come out with great results. The 4K60 video is especially impressive!
The package really contains every you need. You get three batteries - depending on how you fly, etc, you'll get different amounts of time on them but I would imagine at least 90 min to 2 hours total flying time if not considerably more. In my last flight, I had the drone up for about 15-20 minutes and burned through about 30% of one battery (you don't want to run them to 0 if you can help it of course) - that's with not much flying distance but LOTS of 4K60 video and pictures. Your results may vary. You also get a 3 battery charger, a filter pack for the lenses, multiple international plugs (though the charger just takes USB-C, so you can also use your own USB-C PD adapter to connect the charger especially if you're traveling. You also get extra propellers and extra sticks for the controller. Of course you get the controller and drone themselves as well and a soft case for all of it.
I do wish there was a way to create a waypoint setup without the drone being on (maybe there is and I can't figure it out?) but that's a small thing that can be added in the future (hopefully...listening DJI??)
One last thing - this drone DOES meet the new FAA standards by broadcasting it's identification. You DO have to register it (and take the safety test, which is quick) and the registration in the FAA's Drone Zone is $5 for 3 years. You then have to label your drone with the registration number (also easy). It's quick and easy and can ALL be done online, so do it!
This is a great drone - so if you want to take your drone videos up to a 10 (or 12 out of 10), this is the one to get! Highly recommend!

The DJI Mavic 3 Pro Fly More Combo manages to combine the features and functions necessary for a person with or without experience to fly this drone safely, have a fun time and get some breathtaking images.
It is clear that DJI has a wide variety of drones in different ranges and prices, if you only want to fly a drone recreationally without prioritizing the performance of the camera or cameras and functions that allow cinematic shots, there are very affordable entry-level drones that certainly have what it takes to go out and have fun and have a good time. Now in the case that the priority is to get the best image quality, ease when resorting to manual use of the cameras, functions that take the shots to the next level, a pretty good autonomy (considering that this combo includes three batteries), a radio control with built-in screen (definitely much better than using the cell phone), to explore and further exploit your creativity certainly this drone that delivers an incredible performance is a great choice.
The unboxing is a pleasant experience, removing labels, opening boxes and removing packaging is something I personally enjoy a lot and the truth is that DJI gives a detailed care to every aspect of the drone and the safety of it and mainly the consumer. One of the first things I recommend is to activate the DJI Care Refresh service, having a drone of this range insured becomes a factor to consider and even more if you have little experience in the hobby.
It is clear that there are laws and regulations so we must be informed of these regulations and protocols to follow and what things we can or cannot do when we decide to fly our drone.
Once the drone and the controller are turned on the next thing to do is to update the firmware of both devices before the first flight, then it is important to configure the relevant security settings, return home, quality and image format and install the micro sd memory, actually the same DJI system will guide you step by step through the process of configuration and preparation for the first flight, if you have already used or have a DJI drone you will know the process to follow.
Regarding the performance I have been impressed, every aspect that makes up this drone is very well designed and works smoothly. The drone has an impressive stabilization, taking the drone to considerable heights (respecting the maximum altitude allowed) with wind, the gimbal of the camera does a great job, although I must mention that when using the 7x camera system it costs a little to keep the image completely stable, but this is completely understandable in the case of a telephoto lens of such a level. The image quality (4k60 on a 4/3 CMOS sensor) is definitely something that characterizes this drone and something important is that with the latest updates there is now the option to record in D-Log M in the three camera systems, as far as I understand it was previously only possible in 24mm and 70mm. This makes it possible to obtain very consistent sequences when it comes to editing and color grading. The drone has 8 sensors that allow it to dodge obstacles making the overall experience even safer but is very helpful in the tracking function.
In terms of performance the autonomy is quite good, although on paper is more than 40 minutes, when flying can vary to more than 30 min about 40 min, it will depend on certain factors that much flight time we can get from the drone. It can be taken as an example that when the drone is flown in sport mode the battery can last half as long as in cinema mode, this is due to the fact that when the motors are taken to the maximum, the battery consumption increases. It is also important to consider that the system calculates the distance it takes to return to the takeoff point and the percentage of battery needed to carry out this action, always be aware of this but even so the control will inform when it is necessary to return and land the drone to the takeoff point.
The DJI RC is a device that is very easy and comfortable to use, the battery lasts more than 3 hours, (enough to use to fly the 3 batteries of the drone), does not weigh much and has the option to install a strap to hang it from the neck (something I personally recommend). The controller has a pretty good signal range however when there is a bit of interference or obstacles like buildings or mountains it can lose signal easily, but in open field the signal is very consistent even when traveling long distances, I have not been able to put this to the limit but the shots I have gotten have been to my liking. Previously I flew the DJI Air 2s and having to place my phone on top of the controller to fly the drone was not one of my favorite things to do, but with this DJI RC it is the complete opposite, I am very pleased to know that it has a built in screen and will work with my drone as soon as I turne it on without any problems, very nice device.
The truth is that I could go on talking about every detail and feature that make this DJI Mavic 3 Pro Fly More Combo drone a great option, but I think the pictures speak for themselves as well as the shared experience of others who like me find quality, fun and professionalism in this great product, definitely recommended.

If you're reading this, you're either a seasoned drone pilot or you're a beginner who has a passion for drones. Either way, DJI's Mavic 3 Pro drone is for you.
To say that this drone is choke full with amazing tech would be an understatement. I have had the Mini 3 for a while now and I can sincerely say that the Mavic is a huge step up.
After unboxing the Mavic, I was blown away by the content: power plugs which cover most of the countries in the world, spare blades, spare controller sticks, spare batteries and a battery charger which can charge up to 3 packs at a time, all the cables you could need, a protective harness for the drone which covers up the most sensitive parts (e.g. most of the cameras), spare lenses and a carrying bag in which you can fit everything you need. It's great.
Setting up the drone will require you to have a smartphone handy and the DJI Fly app installed. After connecting the remote to the drone, some firmware updates will be downloaded and installed, and you are guided through basic training which covers the most important functions. Frankly, it's a breeze and once the remote and the battery packs are charged, you're good to go. I would recommend to add a fast MicroSD card to your cart as it makes transferring the data from the drone much easier through the remote.
Piloting the Mavic is without exaggeration one of the smoothest and most exciting flight experiences. Here's a quick list of good things and not so great things:
Pros:
+ Comes packed with all you need to get started
+ Setup is easy and intuitive
+ 3 flight modes allow for a very versatile use
+ Several camera modes to suit your needs
+ A bunch of cameras are available, 3 on the gimble and more on the belly and the rest of the drone
+ Can reach insane speeds (21m/s) and is super stable
+ Has auto take-off and landing
+ Can hover and adjust itself to remain in position while you take your shots
+ The touch screen on the remote is gorgeous and allows you to fly without having to constantly check where the drone is
+ Has built-in GPS and other useful functions which will make your life a lot easier
+ Has several RTH (return to home) functions, with some being able to detect obstructions and objects
+ Can fly long distances and flight time is as advertised at around 30 minutes
+ Pictures and videos are crisp and vivid, no matter which camera you choose
Cons:
- The price is a bit scary (but you pay for what you get and you get a lot out of this drone)
- The DJI Fly app can be a bit temperamental
- The remote's screen could be a bit bigger
- Some internal memory for the remote would have been appreciated
It's hard not to love the Mavic 3 Pro. It's the best drone I have ever owned (my fifth) and I wouldn't trade it for any other. It performs like a champ in every scenario and offers new ways to be creative while you enjoy the flight. I absolutely recommend the DJI Mavic 3 Pro.

The quality of videos and photos you can get from the Mavic 3 Pro is simply stunning, I mean it can make even an amateur get amazing results! This is my fourth DJI drone, I’ve gone from the Spark, mini (1st gen), Air 2s and now the Mavic Pro. I use my drones for personal use and real estate photography and the Mavic 3 Pro takes it to the next level for me.
Unboxing, the Mavic 3 Pro fly more combo comes with 3 batteries, 100 watt Charger with 2 USB-C cables that can charge both the controller and batteries at the same time, 2 pair of extra blades, 4 ND filters,a bag and my favorite thing, the controller with the screen. This is my first experience with the controller with a screen and after using it I never want to use my phone again. When using my phone I would either forget to turn up the brightness or the phone would get hot and dim the screen. The controller screen is easy to see what you’re doing and where you’re drone is even in the brightest sunlight.
When flying the Mavic 3 Pro, DJI has made returning home a little easier as it now marks the home location with a small yellow H and you see it on the screen. I love this feature as it makes it so much easier to see where the drone is in relation to where you are and makes it easier to return home manually. The main Hasselblad camera produces amazing pictures and videos and the telephoto lens allows you to digital zoom from 7x up to 28x in Explore mode. When zoomed in on a pic @ the 28x the pictures are soft around the edges but are still of really good quality. The medium telephoto lens zoom capability from 3x to 7x, but has the highest resolution @ up to 48mp.
Throughout my years of using drones DJI has been the only brand I’ve ever used. The main reason is because when it comes down to it, they’re the leader in the consumer/prosumer market. The Mavic 3 Pro just cements that even more, with great battery life (up to 43 minutes), amazing distance and rock sold signal transmission with O3+ and picture and video quality that’s second to none.

DJI Poor Customer support and FRAUD

Purchased this drone in a new factory sealed box. After opening the box and taking inventory I realized it was missing 2 items. It was listed on the outside of the box to include a lens filter kit and 2 USB plugs, which it only had one. Simple enough, I called Dji and explained what unit I purchased and what was missing. First question they asked me is if I purchased it through DJI.
No I purchased it at Best Buy’s.
Well the unit you purchased doesn’t include the filter kit or 2 USB cables, just one cable.
But on the side of the box it says items included and they are listed
The box it wrong and you have to work with Best Buy since you paid them.
But your company is the one who made the box and it also shows on your website that it is included.
That is not our problem it’s a Best Buy’s problem .
We argued for around 20 minutes and it’s terrible that they blame Best Busy for the box they made with the products inside as being incorrect.
I have pictures and documentation that I have provided the Attorney General Office since this is FRAUD, BAIT AND SWITCH AND POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE. They will be investigating DJI and have no reason for them to blame Best Busy because this is a supplier issue and not a sales issue.
Store Manager refunded me my 2,999.00 and is shocked as myself that they had that approach to dealing with a customer.
Side note. They included 3 USA power cables. No idea why because you can only use one.

Exceptional Upgrade to Past Models

As an avid gamer, I've always thought the option to fly a drone would feel like a real-life video game. When I flew my first pro-level drone (straight into a tree, I might add), I knew it was an activity I would enjoy for a very long time. Since that first flight, I've had the fortunate opportunity to fly several different types of drones from different manufacturers, but DJI has remained my favorite. They build a solid product that works and they keep improving it. The Mavic 3 Pro is an outstanding option for anyone who enjoys drone flight. While it has pro-level features, it isn't too complicated for a beginner to understand or feel intimidated by. Here is a rundown of some of my favorite features of this updated flying machine from DJI.
Unboxing
The drone kit comes with a very nice travel bag. All the pieces and parts are shipped inside the bag for added safety for the product. Several power cables are included for international compatibility. The power adapter and cables are packaged in a separate box along with the Mavic 3 Pro ND Filter Set. There are three battery packs for the drone (one is already installed). None of them are charged out of the box. There is quite a bit of unpackaing/unwrapping you have to do to get everything ready to go. Fortunately, though, there is no assembly required. I do recommend charging the batteries and making sure the firmware is up-to-date before taking the drone outside.
Camera - Main & Tele
I've always been impressed with the camera that DJI includes with their drones, but the Hasselblad main and the Medium tele cameras on the Mavic 3 Pro are exceptional. I love that I can capture pristine 4K video footage and pro-quality still images from the main camera. I am a photographer at heart and have spent a lot of time learning how to capture and edit photos so they look the best they possibly can. I don't have any problem with listing the Mavic 3 Pro as one of my pieces of professional video/photo equipment because I know clients will get high-quality images like they would get from my DSLR since the Hasselblad camera supports 12-bit RAW. It's a highly impressive camera system and it's almost too good to be true on a drone like this.
Obstacle Avoidance
This is probably my favorite feature. The drone is equipped with eight vision sensors that are designed to keep the unit safe while in flight. It works like a charm. The only issue you may have is with something like leaves where the sensors can still almost see through the object. This is an obstacle I've had issues with in the past and while the Mavic 3 Pro's omnidirectional obstacle sensors do a great job and are much improved from previous DJI drones, there is always the possibility of failure or mistake.
Flight Time/Battery Life
When a battery pack has a full charge, users can expect approximately 43 minutes of flight time. I was able to achieve pretty close to that. I think the only reason I didn't hit that exact mark is because I didn't have a windless environment. The battery warnings from the controller were spot-on and provided me with enough time to land the drone.
Transmission Distance/Remote
One of the most impressive features on this drone was the transmission distance. DJI claims that DJI O3+ has a transmission distance of up to 15km. That's approximately 9 miles. While I tend to want to keep the drone with in eyesight, I did test this feature out and found the estimate to be fairly accurate. I aimed for a target that I know was at least 8 miles from my takeoff location and was able to still receive high-quality images on the monitor. This makes it very easy to judge obstacles and capture planned video/photo subjects even when you can't see where the drone is.
In my opinion, the DJI Mavic 3 Pro Drone is a game-changer in the world of aerial photography and videography. With its advanced camera capabilities, intelligent flight modes, and impressive range, it offers professional-grade results for both enthusiasts and professionals alike. Whether you are a filmmaker looking to add breathtaking aerial footage to your projects or an adventure-seeker wanting to document your travels from new heights, the DJI Mavic 3 Pro Drone is undoubtedly a top choice. Even if you've had other DJI Mavic models, this is an exceptional upgrade to the past.
