I love DJI products. They always impress me and this drone is no different. They exceeded my expectations with this drone. The quality build and thoroughly thought-out features set this drone apart from the competition. The fly more combo package itself includes everything you need to achieve your goals with this drone. 2 additional batteries, the charging hub, the upgraded DJI RC controller, and ND filters too! I thought the ND filters were a nice touch. Us photographers appreciate it. I love the DJI RC, the screen is great and really enhances the experience of fly this drone. No more having to hook up your cell phone with cables to the controller. This provides an all-in-one experience and is absolutely fantastic. The screen is clear and bright and the video signal is wonderful. The view you get is absolutely stunning. Setup is always simple with DJI drones as well as other products. The DJI Fly app walks you through everything and makes getting up and running a breeze. Don’t forget to check out your local laws and regulations regarding drones in your area. Its very important to know what they are and make sure you are adhering to the rules. I tested flight time and got approximately 26 minutes from the time I turned the battery on till the time the drone auto landed at 8%. I flew the drone non-stop taking photos and videos the entire time. I switched between normal and sport modes and it was also quite windy outside. I know the advertised flight time is 43 minutes but I feel like flight time is very much situational dependent. 26-30 minutes is perfect, especially if you have 3 charged batteries with you thanks to the fly more combo. As far as distance is concerned, I don’t have a good open area where I can test the distance and not lose sight of the drone. I was able to fly it over 3000ft until I almost lost sight of it and moved it closer. I know that is nowhere near the 9.3 mile advertised distance but I had no issues with transmission at 3000 ft. The triple camera system is a game changing addition to this drone that opens so many opportunities and applications for the DJI Mavic 3 Pro. 24mm (1x) 20MP main camera, 70mm (3x) 48MP, and 166mm (7x) 12MP cameras all produce exceptional quality images and video. The performance of these lenses is amazing and for a photographer like myself, I can see many different applications for each one of these lenses. And they are all perfect optical quality! The dynamic range is excellent. This really is the perfect photography tool for photo and video. The omnidirectional obstacle avoidance is also fantastic. It provides a real ease of mind when you are flying. I tested the performance of the obstacle avoidance and it never failed me in my testing. Keep in mind when you are in sport mode, obstacle avoidance is off. This is important to know. With the new firmware update, you can now actually view the obstacle avoidance cameras in flight if you need to. Overall, this is the most feature packed drone I’ve ever owned and really is as much a professional tool as it is for recreation. The content creation capabilities of this drone are endless with the 3-camera system. I’m so excited to see the creative photo and video creations from others utilizing this drone. Amazing job as always DJI! I would highly recommend this to anyone who want an absolute creation machine!

This drone makes photoshoots so fun and easy. It is not small like the new ones that came out, with similar basic functions, but that’s what makes this Mavic Pro 3 standout—it is more dynamic with tons of options for lens and zoom, while the size is more stable yet is still easy to carry. Though it is easy to carry, it is still above 0.55 lbs. The drone harness threw me off at first but it actually keeps the camera and propellers intact when I slide it in the carrying bag, so moving parts do not get caught in the bag interior. The clasps and locks of the harness and bag is very simple that I can unlock it with one hand. It is over 0.55lbs but I have never done photoshoots outside of California and Nevada or outside the country so I don’t have much issues with the weight. In fact, the weight is a non-factor because the drone is mighty agile and matched with its amazing gimbal, is actually very stable. I tried shooting in the mountain canyon roads and even with high wind speeds, my shots seem like it is mounted on a 200 ft pole. It is so easy to maneuver and the obstruction alerts are very highly sensitive—I was not afraid of hitting highway lights or protruding branches. Subject tracking is on-point: this easily follows my subject so I can still have a view of the drone for any surprise obstacles. (Don’t ask me how I’ve learned to be careful this way…). My file outputs are stunning—at 150 feet high, even with the main lens, I can see ground detail--- and this is not even using any optical zooms or the larger lenses. The option for 3 cameras is great, that I can shoot from very far, and the combined zoom (7x optical with 28X digital) captures details with less noise—even at windy dusk conditions. Of course, the switching among 3 cameras is easy with the on-screen buttons, so I have pretty hefty options with my shots. Even with just the main 24mm EFL lens, my 4K video at 60fps, gives me a lot of detail, I am so tempted to fly it above my roof to see traffic before I go out to drive— (unfortunately, I live at a controlled airspace area). Oh, and the 4K slow motion is buttery smooth. Battery life is decent—it is rated at 46 plus minutes flight time but I clocked a battery averaging at a little over 30 at full charge. Although it was very windy, so there could be some extra hover effort and the other time I was flying through obstructions, the on-drone radar detections could have affected the flight time. This fly more package comes with 2 extra batteries, so it’s easy to reload juice with each RTH. Plus, I love that it comes with intelligent multi-battery charging. At home, the connections are easy with USB-Cs on the drone and the RC for file transfers. It does connect to my phone as well, as other phone-focused drones, but this one has options to store files on the hardware. I think this is the best package considering the lens versatility, drone size, transmission range, and battery options. Any recreational or even professional videographer will be thrilled to have this in their arsenal. This is super recommended!

The improvements to the DJI Mavic 3 Pro are definitely noticeable even if you are upgrading from the last model. Flight time, Camera, obstacle avoidance, it has all been very well upgraded and shows that DJI isn’t just listening to customer feedback, but taking action. Flight Time: I achieved a 42 minute flight time on a calm day, which is on par with DJI’s advertised time. I did fly on a day with wind (10-14mph) and this did have an effect on the battery as the drone had to work more to maintain stability, my average time that day was 35 minutes, which is still not bad at all. The controller is spot on with the battery and the countdown adjusts in real time with your operation, so if your rapidly turning, changing altitude, racing the drone around (which I tested) your battery will drain quicker (to the tune of 20-25 minutes avg). Obstacle avoidance: There is a huge improvement in this department. Just when you think the drone is going straight into a tree, it stops dead in its tracks. The new omnidirectional system covers you in all direction with alerts as far as 3 feet from my testing. In summary, if you manage to hit something, you almost have to be trying to do it. Cameras: The bread and butter. Such a big improvement and the Hasselblad lens with a 4/3 CMOS sensor doesn’t disappoint. The medium telephoto lens 1/1.3” sensor (70mm, give you the biggest megapixel at 48) while the super telephoto 1/2” sensor (166mm gives an impressive 12 megapixels). All images had beautiful clarity and coloring. The Pro mode allows you to control the shot, setting your Depth of field, exposure and white balance. The cinematic mode is absolutely stunning. Whether you’re a pro, novice or beginner, the DJI has you covered. With several flight options to create your masterpiece, my favorite however is the Panoramic option, which allows a 100mp photo of the landscape, just stunning. Distance: The Mavic 3 Pro can cover an amazing distance from base, with a clear line of sight I was able to transmit video (1080p/60fps) past 8.5 miles. DJI states it can achieve 15 Kilometers transmission (which equals 9.3 miles) I found a bit of signal issues around 8.9/9 miles which could have been terrain, but I’m in Florida so aside from trees, we have no terrain. Regardless, the video transmission is amazing to be available at 8.5 miles distance. DJI hit a home run with the Mavic 3 Pro.

In this review, I am not going to condescend to whoever may read this regarding certain camera specifics, etc., because if you are considering this drone for a serious purchase, you are likely already in the 99th percentile of top drone users and photographers and have looked through all the camera and video specs yourself. Thus, what I want to lay out are a few key features that I have found to be overwhelmingly impressive about this incredible drone package. First of all, this package enables nearly two hours of flight time spread among the three included batteries. I am incredibly impressed by how much flight and shooting time I got out of the Mavic 3 Pro. DJI is clearly demonstrating an understanding that what professionals and recreational enthusiasts want out of a top-of-the-line consumer-grade drone is to be able to fly longer, and farther, and shoot better. That is what this package offers, without a doubt. The Mavic 3 Pro has a transmission range of up to 15km with stable signals which is bound to thrill true professionals and long-distance videographers, photographers, and explorers! As a recreational UAS pilot, I have not even come close to approaching this distance, but the peace of mind is huge in the event of a fly-away situation or even if, down the road, I decide to start shooting commercially! Next, the Omnidirectional Obstacle Sensing and APAS 5.0 system they have implemented in this drone gives me incredible peace of mind when navigating this drone through tight areas, obstacles, and even just out and about with unexpected obstacles that may come up during good ambient light hours. It even gives me the confidence to occasionally hand over the coveted RC controller to my relatives and friends who are so eager to try out flying the drone! With the obstacle sensing in place and the usual auto-take off and auto-land and return to home (RTH) features present here, this drone feels as safe to fly as it does incredibly fun and rewarding in the pictures and videos it captures. Just note, the obstacle avoidance features do not work at night in poor ambient light conditions, so fly with caution. Another aspect of safety with the drone is the ability to easily tap into the prop cameras on each rotor with a swipe of your fingers and navigate tight areas using them! This is an incredible feature and usable on the fly; I have it set to appear in the bottom left of my RC controller while I am flying! As for the RC controller, I really can’t stop singing its praise to my friends and family, much to their annoyance. This is an iteration of the DJI controllers that appears to be truly dialed in. The battery life is great, the built-in antennas are awesome and are much more aesthetically pleasing than external ones that flip into place, and the controller stays nice and cool with an easily visible screen even in hot weather and direct sunlight! I filmed in the middle of a field on an almost 90-degree day in direct sunlight and the controller never even struggled. The screen acts exactly like an android smartphone, even down to swiping from the top of the screen down to access WIFI and Bluetooth connection, etc. The onboard 8gb of storage built into the drone is very much appreciated. It is only enough storage for a few minutes of 4K 60FPS footage, but I am quite glad to have it there and it is incredibly easy to get to the images either wireless mobile transfer to your phone with the built in app connectivity, or with a USB-C cable hooked directly into the drone while turned on. Just note, you will need to format the internal storage in order to clear it for further recording or images, deleting it on the drone-computer folder view didn’t empty it. Overall, what is being offered in this fly more combo package with the Mavic 3 Pro drone is such a good deal that it should easily push any serious professional or recreational UAS enthusiast into overdrive, clambering over their keyboard to hit that “Add to Cart” button. As more and more reviews are coming forward on social media platforms and retail websites, it is clear that what DJI has put together with this Mavic 3 Pro is truly an astonishing piece of UAS artistry that is sure to stand up to the test of time! Thanks for reading and I hope this review has helped to stoke your enthusiasm!

    Pro-Level Quality + Amazing Versatility

Before we get into the drone itself, if you’re trying to decide between the drone itself and the Fly More combo, get the combo. I haven’t regretted this with all the DJI drones I’ve had in the past including the original Mavic Air and the Air 2S. It’s a great deal for the money with accessories that in my opinion aren’t really accessories - they’re just things a drone pilot will need. For the drone itself, I’m in love with the unmatched versatility with its triple lens setup. It makes flying a drone much less stressful where I can get the shot I want with much less flight time. Having 3 lenses also broadens the kind of shots I can capture with its 3X and 7X lens. It allows for amazing close up shots of subjects extremely far away, almost making them seem like they were taken with a DLSR. I can’t express enough how much versatility this offers which is one of the main reasons to get this drone. The image quality is also amazing - the shots I have attached are straight out of the drone - no filters as the kids say. There’s a little bit of noise with the 3X and 7X lens but it’s really only noticeable when compared to the main 4/3” Hasselblad camera which produces some mind-blowing image quality. You can also tell that the dynamic range is quite good maintaining the brightness of the sun while not darkening the rest of the image. These photos also show the versatility of the lenses - each shot was taken at the exact same location, just with the different lenses. The widest shot shows the quality of the Hasselblad camera - amazing - and the 7X lens is kind of mind-blowing where it can zoom in for an incredible amount of detail. I did not have the ND filters installed for the attached photos but they certainly are handy allowing to adjust shutter speeds to the desired range. The flight time is also stellar where it has around a 35-40 minute flight time. Flight time will depend on many factors like wind as well as how fast you fly it. Paired with the triple lens setup, it makes for a completely different kind of flying experience where there isn’t the stress of trying to get the shot while making sure your battery doesn’t run out. I also noticed that the propeller noise was significantly quieter than previous drones I’ve owned which makes this less of a nuisance for both myself and anyone else that may be around. Coming from DJI drones that required me to use my phone as a display for the remote, the DJI RC is just awesome where I don’t have to mess around with mounting my phone. The display on the RC is also a nice size (5.5”) with a good resolution (1920 x 1080) and it’s also plenty bright at 700 nits. I had zero issues viewing the display outside in direct sunlight. The 8GB of on-board storage is also very handy - especially for people like me who have certainly driven to a shot location only to realize that I forgot a memory card (face palm). When it comes to the combo I’ve found these to be a great value with all my previous DJI drones. Even though it has ~40 minute flight time, as a drone pilot you will need additional batteries. All in all you could in theory have around 2 hours of total flight time with all 3 batteries without needing to recharge. Then there’s the charging dock for the batteries which makes it so I can even charge the spare batteries while I’m flying. It also comes with a 100 watt USB adaptor with 2 USB C cables so again, plenty of versatility here where I can not only charge up my drone, controller, or batteries, I can also use it to charge other devices that use USB C. And to store it all it comes with a very nice carrying bag that’s tailor made for everything that comes in the kit where everything fits perfectly - again something that I’ve really found useful with these combo kits. I feel like this drone allows us non-*actual* professional drone pilots (like those $15K+ drones) to have pro level features at an attainable price. It’s probably the true definition of “prosumer” with tons of capabilities and very few limitations. This drone has changed the flying experience for me considerably. I can’t recommend it enough!

Somewhat new(ish) to the drone world so I've never had a model as nice as this one before. Still, I was really excited to test this one out and, WOW, this is a top notch unit. In the box, you get everything you need to be up and running. In addition to the drone/remote, you get a nice carrying case, 3 batteries w/charger, extra rotor blades, additional filters for the front camera and about 6-7 different charging cables for various countries. Really well thought out product here in terms of what's included. The drone/remote takes little time to get paired up. The only thing that will slow down your enjoyment of this drone is the updates needed when you first get it. Pretty much everything here is step-by-step so you're not fumbling around for how to this or that which is really nice. The camera is probably the nicest part about this unit. It provides really crisp, stunning pictures as well as video. You get additional filters to put onto the camera for different picture styles. There are 3 filters total. Having used this for a bit, the controls are excellent and responsive. You get a choice between "easy" mode where your drone just hovers wherever you stop it or a more manual, sport mode if you are a seasoned operator. Even for me, the controls were simply and easy to use. A really great feature was the range of this drone. It's around 9-10 mile range where you can operate this. My other drone was maybe a couple miles or so? Haven't gotten the change to fully test out range but, so far, it's been really great. That said, i crashed mine :( So I have the wonderful experience of repairing this drone too. For a return process, DJI worked extremely well and quick which was really surprising. From start to finish, it took about a week and a half. Kudos to the repair team for that.

I've been a recreational UAS / drone pilot for many years. For the last week I've been testing the DJI Mavic Pro 3 with the Fly more combination. DJI has always been my drone of choice and this is the third DJI drone that I own. To save you some reading time, I will say this is by far the best drone I have tested. When purchased as part of the fly more combination this is also the most comprehensive package I have seen. This will most likely be a purchase for professional use. Note for a first time UAS flyer. This is a hobby that is regulated and is regulated further for Part 107 Flyers. It is easy to buy a drone but you can't go directly from the store to the park. There is registration, a TRUST exam, safety regulations and in most American cities there are flight restrictions to abide by. Inside the box was everything I needed to get started and replace easily damageable or replaceable parts. Essentially, allowing me to fly more. The contents included, the Mavic Pro 3 and gimbal protecting muscle, a premium RC controller, 2 extra batteries (3 total), 4 ND filters, a soft carry bag, 8 extra sets of propellers, 2 extra steering sticks, a fast charging brick, 2 USB-C cables and wall socket adapters for just about every country. The controller is a significant upgrade. Setup is simple, but be sure to fully charge it first, or it won't work. I hated using my phone as a viewfinder, so I was grateful for the built-in screen. The antennas and battery are also built into the controller, making it a sleek, snag-proof package that's a dream to hold. The joysticks are made of aluminum and feel great to the touch, with the perfect amount of springiness. The viewfinder is bright and responsive to touch inputs. Finally, the controller is backward compatible with some older DJI products.. The Mavic 3 Pro is the largest DJI product I've tested. I expected it to be similar sized to my Air 2s but I was wrong. However, the larger size is understandable given its additional omnidirectional obstacle sensing and APAS 5.0 sensors, larger batteries, and three large camera sensors. DJI advertises 43 minutes of flight time, and my tests yielded results in the ballpark of that. I see it being achievable in the right circumstances. Charging the batteries took about 45 minutes, which is a bit long, but at least you get three batteries with the combo. Also, the batteries are not interchangeable with previous generation models because they are physically larger and load into the back of the aircraft. The transmission distance of the Mavic is 15 km which is 9.32 miles. Unless you are part eagle, that's overkill for the US. Especially, since you need to maintain line of sight of your UAS. So I will say the signal was solid up to my line of sight. As for the cameras, I'm not going to get all technical and go into each of all the different modes and capabilities because I only had a week with this drone. But, I will say that the Mavic 3 Pro makes good use of the cameras. The images and video they produced look fantastic and I don't see any need to touch them up . The Hasselblad main camera comes from a brand that is known for its high quality cameras and premium sensors. So, as a content creator or photographer you would absolutely want it on your drone. As for the other two Telephoto lenses, they complement the drone by providing wide fields of view, and excellent zooming capability. Overall, I loved flying this aircraft and I highly recommend it for Professionals doing Part 107 work.

I have a fair amount of experience with drones, I've owned a few over the years, and each one is progressively better than the last. But I have to say, this is by far the best I've used. The quality, construction, image capabilities, range, object avoidance, all of it, is amazing. To start, it's packaged well, if relatively plainly in a white shrink wrapped box. It's nothing to write home about but it gets the job done. This drone, like all of DJI's drones, has the 'wings' folded in to allow for room for the batteries and controller. Once out, it's a simple matter of charging the batteries and you're basically on your way. The fact that this controller has a built in screen rather than needing to rely on your phone to use it is a HUGE bonus. The screen is beautiful, bright and easy to see in most light. The image quality remains crisp even MILES (KMs) away from the controller. The range is incredible, although it's important to note that FAA guidelines prohibit flying beyond your ability to see the drone. Don't forget to register your drone as well, it's not expensive and you get 3 years off of a single registration. While flying there are a few modes you can put the drone in, specifically performance modes and normal flying. If in performance mode it disables the object avoidance sensors, so it's important to watch where you're flying. In normal flying modes it has object detection all around and will stop itself from running into things like trees. It's a very useful feature. It's a huge upgrade from my previous drone that really only had frontal object detection. Now for what most people care about... The camera. Amazing. It's really all I can say. I've attached pictures taken with the camera of my neighborhood and some locations within it as well as the neighboring lake. Videos are incredible, the image stabilization is next level. The colors and zoom capabilities are great, you'll see examples of both in the attached images. Having the ability to fly for 43 minutes makes it so you have nearly an hour of freedom to do everything you want at the ranges you want. Bottom line, if you're in the market for a drone that can really do it all, for fun, for pictures, really for everything, this is the right answer.

This drone includes all of the latest features in recreational UAS. In comparison to the DJI 2S, it is about the twice the size. The rotor arms fold easily to make it easy to transport. I really like that the camera cover comes across the entire drone and securely holds the props in place during storage and transport. The DJI Fly app is built right into the controller and it connects via WiFi for firmware updates. The screen is about the size of a normal cell phone screen and has a very good display. The control sticks store on the back of the controller and screw in easily. Two extra included in case you accidently lose one. The batteries are about twice as big as the DJI 2s and insert into the center of the drone and securely snap in place. The battery power button is the same color as the battery and can be a little difficult to locate since it is on the side of the drone. The batteries utilize smart technology and take several hours to charge. The battery holder can hold three batteries but only charges one at a time. Once the batteries are charged and the firmware updated, all you have to do is connect or create a DJI account to get started. You will need to have the B4UFly app on your cell phone to verify your area is safe for flight and to run you before flight checklist. The controller easily pairs with the drone and take-off is just a touch of a button. Flight controls are super smooth you will not have any issues with connection with flying in line of sight. The max altitude defaults to the legal recreational limit of 400 ft. The drone will not fly above the set altitude and and proximity can be set to brake if it comes close to any objects. Landing and return to home can be initiated with a touch of a button and you will get prompted if the landing area is uneven to confirm landing. Video and pictures are what really set this drone apart. The camera has multiple lens and the gambit feature keeps it level no matter how the drone is positioned. There is 8GB of onboard storage on the controller and a SD card can be inserted for additional storage. The camera can be rotated vertically with a scroll button on the controller. Pictures and video can be started with a tap of a button on the screen or back of the controller. Pictures look great and in low and bright light. I have included several pictures that were taken on my initial flight.

This drone is amazing! I've owned a few drones and my favorite has always been my old DJI Mavic Air 2. I was curious what could make the Mavic 3 Pro a better drone and after giving it a first test flight I found my answers. First is the remote. The old version required a phone to be attached to act as the screen. It was a bit problematic because the mount didn't handle bigger phones easily and definitely couldn't handle one in a case. Because of this, I had to keep a smaller phone that I used only for the drone. The Mavic 3 Pro has the Smart Controller. No need to lug around another phone any more. The controller runs on a modified version of android and haven't looked to see if we could sideload apps yet, but I doubt they kept the feature. It's a bit sluggish when navigating the menus so it probably wouldn't be a very good experience running other apps. Next is the reason why I love this drone more than my Air: the cameras. Picture are near DSL quality and surpass some cell phone cameras. Even though the resolution is lower that most high end phones, the detail it captures is better. When you zoom in 100% on an image (I do this all the time for editing) you don't get the smeared finger paint look that's common with a lot of phones. The details are clean, but not as clean as my higher end cameras. But taking my cameras 400' in the air isn't as easy as launching the Mavic 3 Pro. The 3x & 7x zoom catches details I wasn't able to catch with my Air unless I was right on the subject. The zoom allows you to capture photos without buzzing around annoyingly and scaring off wildlife. The chargers ports are all USB-C so I'm always near a charging source with a proper cable since all my devices use USB-C. There doesn't seem to be a fast charge option, but that feature might product too much heat to use outdoors. There's a good amount of heat already discharging from the drone while idle an powered on. The DJI Mavic 3 Pro definitely made for amateur photography enthusiast and even professionals. My attached pics are just some quick images I grabbed of a scrap yard. I didn't have a chance to run out for some serious photos yet since it was anniversary weekend for the wife and me.

Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned drone expert, the DJI Mavic 3 Pro is a fantastic drone for all. The Hasselblad camera system is simply incredible. The image quality is sharp, detailed, and vibrant, even in low light. The images and videos that I have captured with this drone are some of the best that I have ever seen. The 3x optical zoom on the tele camera is also very useful for getting closer to your subjects without having to fly closer. The omnidirectional obstacle sensing and APAS 5.0 system make the Mavic 3 Pro one of the safest and easiest-to-fly drones on the market. The drone can automatically avoid obstacles in all directions, even when flying in complex environments. The movement of the drone feels smooth and easy to pick up. The 43-minute flight time is also very impressive. This is more than enough time to capture the footage that you need, without having to worry about running out of battery. Overall, the DJI Mavic 3 Pro is the best camera drone that I have ever used. It is the perfect choice for anyone who is looking for the best possible image quality and performance.

Been using DJI drones for many years now. This drone is great. I upgraded from the mavic 2 zoom which I loved. The multi camera feature is great but the color is different on each one so you will need to know how to color grade to make them all look the same. Tons of safety features, easy to fly. Perfect drone for advanced hobbyists or professionals. Fly more combo kit is a necessity. The ND filters are easy to put on too. Love that I can charge the battery in the drone with a USB-C cable. Remote control is light, you dont really need the more expensive remote. Battery’s last a long time too.

The Drone That Does It All

The DJI Mavic 3 Pro is an incredible drone and for the price it ought to be. I think this is one of the few consumer products on the market today that does actually earn the ‘Pro’ moniker (though it does not get the high bitrate ProRes that the Cine model has). A lot of people would probably be more than happy with the Air or the Mini; I know that up to receiving this I was still regularly using and loving my Mavic Air 2 from a few years ago. But if you want just about the best DJI has to offer this is it. The Fly More Combo basically gives you everything you’d want for the Mavic 3 Pro and it’s a great starting point if you don’t already have drone gear. The Fly More Combo includes the drone itself, the DJI RC controller, 2 extra batteries with a charging base, 2 sets of additional props, ND filters, and a bag to hold it all. For the charger they also bundled AC cords for every country you can imagine and it actually took me a minute to find the North American cord. I’m really not sure what I’m going to do with the rest of the cords and it feels a little wasteful to include them, but if you travel internationally a lot then I can see the value. The bag is very nice and holds the accessories well, though I had a hard time getting it to the point of fitting absolutely everything and ended up leaving the extra props out. The drone itself feels very well constructed and unfolds and collapses easily, though the included cover is a little awkward to take on and off. In addition to the triple camera module it also has 4 sets of vision cameras specifically for the obstacle avoidance system to cover all directions. Around the back is the battery slot and a flap that contains the microSD slot and USB port. The non-Cine model only comes with 8GB of built-in storage, so you will definitely need a microSD card for this and I’m using a 512GB Sandisk Extreme. Turning the drone on and flying it around, the first thing I typically make note of is the sound and while the Mavic 3 Pro does seem louder than my Air 2, it’s not significantly so. I would describe the sound of the Mavic 3 Pro akin to a weed wacker in both pitch and volume. I’m very paranoid about being the ‘drone guy’ and ruining everyone’s peace and quiet, so this is important to me, but in general I would fly the Mavic 3 Pro in the same places I’ve flown the Air 2. The general experience of flying is great and with MasterShots, QuickShots, and the waypoint system you really don’t need to be a great pilot to get some great shots as the software can do a lot of this without ever needing to even touch the sticks. For standard flight, the obstacle avoidance system built-in is fantastic. I reluctantly (but also carefully) tried to trip it up by seeing if I could purposely run into anything and every time it would either stop or fly itself around, depending on the mode I had it in. Flight in general has been rock solid and I did not see it waver at all, though I haven’t had any very windy days to put it up against yet. The triple camera system that’s built into the Mavic 3 Pro is extremely versatile. The main 4/3” Hasselblad camera is definitely the best of the bunch, but the 3x medium tele with the 1/1.3” sensor also looks great and lets you get some really nice closer shots without having to physically get the drone closer. The 7x tele is very good, though it zooms into a level that I don’t personally see myself using as much. It also doesn’t look quite as good as the other 2 cameras, maybe due to the smaller sensor 1/2” sensor. It’s still great to have for special situations though. Images and videos both look fantastic from the Mavic 3 Pro. The video is always smooth and stable no matter what the drone is doing and you have a ton of control with how you can capture photos and videos. I like what DJI does with photos and videos automatically for the most parts, though one video I took on the river on a very bright day was a bit too bright for me, but with a combination of image control adjustments and ND filters I’m sure that is easily corrected. The DJI RC controller feels great and having the built-in screen is so much nicer than having to deal with the phone bracket and cable connection that the previous controllers required. In general the interface is pretty responsive and the screen is bright enough to see clearly in any weather. The battery life for the Mavic 3 Pro is listed at 43 minutes. This will obviously depend on a lot of things, but I got pretty close to it most of the time and I was comfortable leaving the drone up in the air while I contemplated my next move without worrying that I wasn’t going to have enough battery to do what I wanted to do. The RC controller is rated for up to 4 hours, so it should still be running by the time you drain all 3 drone batteries. Overall I haven’t found any major faults with the DJI Mavic 3 Pro. It’s truly a complete package and for anybody wanting the larger image sensor or maybe just a bit more than what the Air and Mini models have to offer it’s a win.

This Drone (Mavic Pro 3) has exceeded expectations. It’s Cameras (3) are Awesome! The bird is quiet & the pictures are sharp. Easy & enjoyable to fly. Battery life improved over my previous unit (Mavic Pro 2). What else can I say? Very satisfied with purchase.

Incredible product - DJI does it again. This is my fourth drone and by far the most advanced and smooth and powerful with all the tech, built in impressive. The fly longer pack is amazing you can rotate batteries and stay in the air longer (of course land and switch out). Screen on the remote is rich and crystal-clear fly time in 40 mins avg depending on mode. Had this thing up to 47 mph turns on a dime and solid aluminum construction not plastic. Yes, more expensive but if a serious drone flyer -Don't waste money on cheaper knock offs this is the real deal you'll thank yourself later. This is the top before you go into commercial Enterprise level. One CON - Range is not as advertised, had at 650 ft altitude as well goes super far but so far at around 4.3 miles i lose connection. One other item as a major PRO: Camera is out of this world and has incredible clear zoom capability.

This was an upgrade from a Phantom 4 Pro. So far I have a few hours of flight time on the 3 and can tell you if you are coming from a phantom its worth the cost. The noise reduction alone of the props make this worth the purchase to me. Fast, the camera is amazing.

I finally bought this. I bought the OG mavic pro and the camera on this drone are way more useful and more clear. Definetly get the fly more combo because these drone batteries dont last nearly as long ss advertised. If you buy the one wirh the single battery you will be disappointed and hung out to dry if you plan to any amount of work with this drone.

The worst thing about the DJI Mavic 3 Pro is its price, which is $2,199. It is also slightly larger and heavier than other drones in the same class, which can make it difficult to transport. Overall, the DJI Mavic 3 Pro is a high-quality drone that offers excellent image quality and a wide range of features. It is an excellent choice for professional photographers and videographers who are looking for a drone that can capture high-quality images and videos.
