Upgraded from the Mavic Mini to the Mavic Air 2. And I couldn’t be more satisfied. The photos are amazing. Obstacle avoidance is a real must have on drones. And the follow me feature is super cool. If you can afford it, get the Mavic Air 2 instead of the Mavic Mini. And definitely get the fly more combo on either. It’s more than worth it. For example with the Mavic Air 2 an extra battery is $115 each. With the flu more combo you get 2 of them. A carrying case. And extra propellers so only $180 more. So you’re saving like $100. I added photos I’ve taken with it so you can see the quality.

Great connection between RC - MA2. Awesome flight time. Picture and video quality are excellent. If you are looking for your first good quality drone, this is it.

Love my drone. New to flying drones but this mini 2 is so easy to fly! Pics are clean and clear and videos are great too. No regrets!

As a first time drone buyer I had my doubts if I should go for mavic 2 and spend 900 dollars at the risk of doing something wrong and Damaging the drone but I’m glad I bought it the interface is so easy and smooth even for the beginners, In no time I was able to get my drone in air and was able to shoot beautiful videos and pictures , really pleased w the performance and the ease of handling , this is an awesome product.

First, I must say that this is the best consumer drone for the price. The camera sensor is a Sony Quad Bayer 1/2 inch but it has can perform far above expectations interesting hardware and software tools. HDR video is superb and allows consistent colors and exposure in almost any type of scene, even when filming into the sun. Videographers who want to have more flexibility into their project can film in flat color profile which allows better abilities to do more post production color grading. 4k 60fps mode allows for slow motion in very high resolution. Not even the Mavic Pro 2 can do this but that drone is in another class due to larger camera sensor and more manual camera options but is twice the price of the Mavic Air 2. Photos are also great. The 48 mp mode does provide more detail but gets best results with optimal lighting. I find myself using AEB and smart photo the most as these modes get the most dynamic range. The signal to the controller and live image transmission to the phone is great since DJI adopted its occusync 2.0 technology to this drone. I am not one who needs to fly miles beyond line of site, so I will never test this drone's range. I feel that the transmission is far superior to all the wifi drones before it. This drone also has more advanced tracking technologies than its predecessors. I have not really put this to the full test but I got to use spotlight tracking. This will put any object of interest int the center of the image regardless of where the drone is flying. This allows any drone pilot to film like a pro. This is also exclusively to the Mavic series. The DJI fly app lacks advanced features which almost cripples a phenomenal drone. The battery and telemetry are a little hard to see on the screen. I do love that I can pull up manual camera settings and change modes very quickly. So, why only 3 stars? This is actually a 5 star drone but my particular unit has an intermittent Gimbal Motor Overload issue. In warm weather or other random times, I would get an error regarding the issue and the video would become shaky with jello artifact. I am able to fix this with full recalibration of gimbal, IMU, and compass. The problem would then return after flawless flying for a week or so. I ended up sending the unit to DJI for replacement but it will take some time to get the drone back. I surveyed 362 Mavic Air 2 owners to see if anyone had any defective units out of the box and 6% had issues. Although this is not overwhelmingly high, I do feel it is more than what should be acceptable. Once they fix some of these bugs, I will go back in and adjust my rating.

As a drone enthusiast, I was surprised how many features this one has compared to the other models. For the price you can’t beat it.

This is the best bang for the buck drone out. I have had an absolute blast flying this. Great range, amazing photo and video quality.

Great drone for hobbyist with quickshots and active track features and good start up drone for professional remote pilots. The added obstacle avoidance safety feature on the front, side and bottom can provide added flight protection especially for newbies. However, it doesn't have the side and top sensor so be careful with sideway or circular flights and ensure no obstacle along the path. The combo package is a great deal with extra 2 batteries, bag, ND filters, charging hub and extra propellers etc.

I've been tinkering with diy drones since 2013. Boy how its crazy how far pre-built drones have come! Super easy to setup. The transmitted HD video is nearly flawless! My favorite feature beyond Ocusync 2.0 is the Hyperlapse. They are so cool! I adore this thing. Well designed products that work perfectly just give me the biggest satisfaction. I had a little panic attack when I couldn't find the android cable but it was in the lid of the bag... The app has worked perfectly so far with my LGv30.

This package, including the extra batteries, propellers, carry-bag, etc., is without question, the best value for a drone in 2020. The quality and sophistication of the technology you get for the price is outstanding, and the video/photography options should cover most of your needs with outstanding images. I had preordered my Magic Air 2 Fly More Combo from Amazon, but they delayed my shipment, so I cancelled and ordered from Best Buy instead. You won’t regret this purchase. Well done DJI.

Love this drone. With a decent IQ anyone can fly this drone. Very intuitive and user friendly. Normal mode with obstacle avoidance on makes this a simple low anxiety flight. Had it flying 10 minutes out of the box. Would have been quicker if I had better wifi at the time to DL the current firmware. Photo quality is amazing. Smart flight/photo modes turn you into a pro. Like my fifth flight I shot a hyper lapse of the NYE fireworks. Came out amazing.

This was such a huge step up from my Phantom 4. It’s lightweight, amazing camera, and the battery lasts twice as long.

As a first time owner/operator of a drone this thing is awesome. We were having up to 20+mph wind gust and this thing was steady as can be. Great pictures. The only issue I have had is with my phone going blank and having to get back on the App and tell the drone to come home. Great little drone and cool compact case and set up.

So easy to use. Definitely get more than one battery. I’ve had so much fun with this thing.

I always enjoy coming into the Fry rd. Location because the employees are always professional and seem to always be happy. I really like flying the Mavic Air 2 drone as I have purchased it many times. It keeps me out of trouble and I love seeing the aerial view, the camera is amazing. Your location will always be my go to store.
