Great Sound, Excellent Battery, Mini Package
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.📦 UNBOXING: Inside the box, you’ll find a great accessories package for the DJI Mic Mini. Right off the bat, you’ll be greeted by a travel zipper pouch that has a zipper pocket and two small elastic pockets inside for stowing away some of your accessories. Then there’s of course the charging case, 2x wireless microphone transmitters, 2x magnetic clips, 1x wireless receiver (which both transmitters can be paired simultaneously to), a USB-C phone adapter, a 3.5mm analog microphone cable, a USB C to A cable, and 4x windscreens. 💪 BUILD: The charging case is built quite well, and should have no issue sustaining a drop, although I might expect some dings, but no real damage to anything inside the case since there really isn’t any wiggle room inside the case. With everything included in the travel pouch, you’re looking at a total weight of about 9 oz (258g), with a single microphone transmitter weighing in at a mere 10g and a magnetic clip at an additional 4g. For perspective, the more advanced DJI Mic 2’s transmitter weighs in at 28g with an additional 6g for its magnetic clip. With 2023’s DJI Mic 2, one small complaint the community had was that the weight of the transmitter could cause some shirts to droop more when clipped magnetically or via the clothespin style clip. With the Mic Mini, however, this is simply not an issue thanks to its significant reduction in size and weight. And while the build is plastic to achieve the best wireless signal, I feel DJI still chose a pretty good quality plastic that should withstand some drops and is resistant to basic surface scratches. While I wouldn’t call these fragile, I also wouldn’t call them tanks, either. So do your best to keep it from drops or liquid, as they don’t appear to have an ingress protection rating. ⚙️ FEATURES: Each transmitter’s power button can be held to be powered on or off, and single-pressed to engage the microphone noise cancellation—which will also turn on a secondary yellow LED to indicate that noise cancellation has been enabled. Meanwhile, the link button can be held (and will alternate between blue and green LED) to pair with the receiver, Osmo camera, or mobile app (primarily for firmware updates), and single-pressed when connected to an Osmo camera to start/stop recording. Unlike the Mic 2’s transmitter, the Mic Mini doesn’t have a 3.5mm input for a lavalier microphone. So you’re relying on the qualities of the built-in microphone. And the DJI Mic Mini system doesn’t have any local storage, so you’re relying on everything in your signal chain to be set up correctly for a reliable recording experience. The receiver is also quite simple. There’s a power button which powers on the receiver when held, and a status LED will blink white until it’s been connected to a host device (smartphone, camera, computer, etc.) after which it’ll hold a solid white. However, unlike the transmitters, paring the receiver over Bluetooth must be done using the power button. If you continue to hold the power button for longer, it will eventually enter Bluetooth mode so you can pair with the app. While you can change the transmitter’s settings via the mobile app over USB, you cannot update the firmware via USB. There are also 2 LED status indicators to show the number of transmitters actively connected. SImply put the microphone transmitters into pairing mode, then hold the link button on the receiver to put it into pairing mode, where it will automatically connect with the transmitters. The receiver also has a simple gain dial with 6db increments so you can go up to +12dB gain and down to -12dB. And to connect to a host device, it has a 3.5mm output and a 6-pin connector for USB-C (included) or Lightning (sold separately) adapters. DJI claims the system can capture audio up to a distance of 400 meters in an unobstructed environment, which is very impressive. ⚙️ CONFIGURATIONS: The Mic Mini can be used in a variety of configurations. You can have the receiver hooked up to a smartphone via the included 6-pin USB-C adapter. This makes it great for people who want to create content with just their phone. Using the 6-pin USB-C adapter, you can also use the Mic Mini with a desktop computer or potentially some cameras that support USB microphones. This could be useful for live streaming from a stationary computer setup. For those who are already in the Osmo ecosystem, the transmitters work natively without a receiver on the Action 5 Pro, Action 4, and Pocket 3. I was able to test with the Osmo Pocket 3 and had no regression in features or quality. For older Osmo series cameras, you may need to use the receiver. And of course, for those with mirrorless or DSLR cameras, you can connect the receiver to the cold shoe of a camera and use the 3.5mm audio output into the microphone input of your microphone for a more traditional recording experience. 🎙️ SOUND QUALITY: In my testing across a smartphone, Osmo Pocket 3, desktop computer and mirrorless camera, the audio quality was very good. Similarly to the Mic 2, the best results are when the microphone has an unobstructed sight to the speaker, but realistically speaking most people will use this on their shirt or lapel and will exhibit a slightly warmer sound. The noise cancellation is also quite helpful for reducing distracting background noise—with 2 strengths to select from through the app. Personally, I think the default “Basic” noise cancellation might be too basic, so I opted for the “Strong” for most of my testing. Additionally, louder noises can be better compensated for thanks to the Mic Mini’s Automatic Limiting to prevent clipping. https://soundcloud.com/xephyroth/sets/dji-mic-mini-test-v1/s-ltlpLBNPrNy 🔋 BATTERY: DJI claims the microphone transmitters can operate for 11.5 hours and the receiver can operate for 10.5 hours. Everything fully charged, the case provides 3.6 charges, so you can get 48 hours of total use if using the receiver with two microphone transmitters. And in a pinch, 5 minutes of charging can yield 1 hour of use. This is a significant improvement compared to the DJI Mic 2’s 6 hours for each transmitter and receiver and 18 hour total usage. With battery life like this, I find it easier to disable auto-off so that I don’t have to repeatedly power on the receiver and transmitters. I can keep everything powered and press record the instant that I’m ready. 🧐 CONCLUSION: Unless you need 32-bit float and/or safety tracks from the DJI Mic 2, I think a lot of people are going to love the significantly more compact DJI Mic Mini with its significant battery advantage and even more discreet form factor. The sound quality is excellent in my experience, and DJI made it very easy to get started. I think DJI has put themselves in a uniquely competitive position when compared to a lot of the competition just on size alone, but there’s a lot more to this mini microphone system that should make it a top contender for any content creator who needs a super portable covert microphone system.

A Must Have For Content Creation
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first wireless mic setup and boy I am impressed with the DJI Mic Mini. I’ve been doing a lot of running these days and I’ve been narrating my own runs by taking selfie videos. The obvious annoyance I run into during a run is the wind noise. I try to mitigate it by repositioning my grip on my phone or shielding the phone, but more often than not I just end up getting a selfie of my chin, and still have the wind noise. The DJI Mic Mini opened my eyes to what a wireless microphone system offers. Firstly, the kit comes with two microphone transmitters, and they are very small. They can be attached to your person either by clipping it or magnetically attaching it to your clothing. Aesthetically, the magnet is a lot better because it can be placed almost anywhere on your person, but not quite as secure as the clip. But I had zero problems attaching the mic either way. The mic is very small; to me it’s just a bit larger than 3 U.S. quarters stacked together, and it is so light that you don’t notice it once it’s attached. Each mic has two buttons, one for power and one for linking. Also, each mic comes with two windscreens (black and black/gray). The kit also comes with a receiver which is a bit larger than the transmitters, but still relatively small. It allows for different types of connectivity so that you can connect to a smartphone, camera or a PC. I intend to use mostly on my smartphone, and I have 3 options: (1) using a USB-C cable, (2) using the included USB-C adapter to physically attach the receiver to my phone, and (3) via Bluetooth (some caveats). There is a 4th option using a 3.5mm TRS cable, which is included with the kit, to use with your DSLR or the like when the other options are not feasible. The receiver can also be attached to most things with its built-in clip, but has no magnetic clip like the transmitter. It has a wheel knob for adjusting gain and power/linkage buttons just like the transmitter. Putting it all together, the transmitter and receiver rest nicely together inside a hard charging case. Charging is done via USB-C (cable included). There are 4 white LED indicators that indicate charge level. Also housed is the attachable USB-C adapter, and there is another slot for an additional adapter which I’m guessing is for the Lightning variant, not included. Finally, all of this can be stored in a carrying case that is included with the kit. When I first attached the receiver to my iPhone, I used the included USB-C adapter. There is a green LED indicator that tells me if there is a successful connection to a device. Flashing green means no, and solid green means good. I then attached one of the transmitters to myself; it will exhibit the same flashing behavior as the receiver, but only in regards to its connectivity to the receiver, not the receivers’ host device. I created a quick video, and my mind was blown. The clarity from the DJI Mic Mini was astounding. It is very much a night and day difference just sitting at a table and capturing videos with and without the Mic Mini. And what was also very apparent was how easy it was to set up, just how I described above. I didn’t need to install an app as it was very much plug-and-play. My voice came through with the utmost sound clarity, and much of the ambient noise around me like an air purifier or running water was more or less eliminated. As I mentioned above, going for a run was also astounding for me. I continued with the same USB-C adapter setup for the receiver and opted to use a windscreen on the transmitter. I felt more confident using the transmitters’ physical clip on my shirt rather than using the magnetic clip, although I feel like the magnetic clip is strong enough that I wouldn’t have to worry. Once again, a night and day difference with audio. The wind noise is virtually gone, and my speech and breathing is front and center. I also noticed that from run to run, I can tell which of my running shoes exhibit more noise, which I found more interesting. I decided on another run that I clip the secondary transmitter closer to my feet to hear my foot strikes to record which shoes are the noisiest of the bunch. I was having too much fun with this…. Changing settings at a moments’ notice can only be done on the receiver, and it is the gain knob and the power button. I would tinker with this by recording a video and stating the gain value in the video so that I knew what was best in that situation. The power button doubles as a noise cancelling on/off button; an additional LED opposite of the main LED will illuminate a lighter green color indicating that noise canceling is on. But as far as adjustability on the receiver…that’s it. That’s where the DJI Mimo App comes in, where you’ll find a handful of device settings, especially noise canceling strength and enabling clipping control. When I’m indoors, I keep the noise canceling in basic and everything else default; when I run outdoors, I change noise canceling to strong and sometimes enable low cut to help further with ambient outdoor noise like passing vehicles along my run. The DJI Mimo App also allows you to create content with pre-recorded videos and even photos. Just a quick plug for DJI’s app, but outside the scope of this review. Now for the gotchas…unless I’m doing something wrong, there isn’t actually a means to connect the receiver via traditional Bluetooth. The receiver does not appear as an available Bluetooth device when I put it in pairing mode. After numerous attempts and messing around, I found that the only way to connect the receiver via Bluetooth is using the DJI Mimo App…but it’s not what you think. The app connection only allows you to change recording settings, but not actually Bluetooth audio recording. Again, not sure if I'm doing something fundamentally wrong, but that’s what I’ve been able to figure out thus far. Overall, the DJI Mic Mic gets a huge recommendation from me. I can’t believe I went this long without a system like this. This is a must for anyone who is getting into content creation.

Tiny. Inconspicuous. No odd looks.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first jump into dedicated mics you wear like being a guest star on a talk show. I usually had decent results from built in mics or the couple shotgun mics for a couple of my various cameras I have. Just didn't see the need to be like some of the Youtubers talking into mics that often looked like a 90's pager, kinda dorky looking. Enter the bargain priced DJI Mic Mini Kit and stepping up my audio game. Super tiny dual mic kit with a receiver that easily sets up with older gear via the 3.5mm headset jack. Or the more modern USB-C port on cell phones and cameras. Audio quality is fantastic when tested with either my Pixel 9 Pro cell phone or my other recently acquired camera, DJI Osmo 5 Pro. It works seamlessly with either camera. I did need to tell the phone to switch to wired mic in camera settings and sync the receiver to the mic. Kit: I am amazed to see everything you get for the price. Plenty of battery life for video sessions, can juice an extra hour with 5 minutes charge from the case. The spare wind muff noise covers, 2 gray/2 black. And the receiver to work with nearly everything USB-C and not locking it to DJI only products. Although, if you have DJI cameras. You are good to go with near instant connections like with Osmo 5 Pro. There is also USB-A > C charge cable and a 3.5mm > 3.5mm cable plus a very nice zippered pouch with interior pockets and interior zipper storage compartment to hold everything. And a pack of stickers with quick setup manuals. While I did see a lanyard in photos prior to getting my kit. It is about the only thing this kit did not include that you might want to optimize use of the mics. Each mic and the receiver have alligator type clips to attach to clothes. The mics also have very strong magnets to help attach further from the edge of what you are wearing. The only hiccup might be loosing the small plastic cover on the receiver when attaching USB-C dongle. Maybe leave that cover piece in the zippered pouch on first use. Beard test: I did not get the opportunity to test much outdoors in the elements yet. Did test the mics with my phone and Osmo 5 pro. The walk and talk is really good so far. As a bearded gentleman, no interference with muff installed and mic clipped to shirt collar. Range is better than my phone can focus on, camera over 40ft away and audio is still crisp. Can easily walk quite far away and the mic does not drop connection. Same on Osmo. I look forward to maybe testing wind noise during a drive and put the window down at speed if temps increase a bit above freezing, as it is December in Ohio right now. These mics are very good. Just hope to get more time to use these soon.

Excellent quality and portability!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Another fantastic product from DJI. I get excited every time I see a new product from DJI. They have done such a great job with their brand and their products are always high quality “worth the money” products. The DJI Mic Mini is no different. I’ll just dive right into it. It's small, lightweight, and solidly built. If you are used to the DJI brand packaging, you can expect the same with the DJI Mic Mini. Awesome packaging and a statement of the DJI brand. The Mic Mini comes in a small cloth carrying pouch that fits the device and accessories just right. Inside you will find the charging case containing the receiver and two transmitters with magnet backs along with a USB Type-C mobile phone adapter. Also in the box is a 3.5mm TRS cable and a USB-C charging cable for the case and 4x windscreens for the microphones. All in all, a great pairing of accessories to the Mic Mini. The Mic Mini itself is simple to use. I was able to simply mount the transmitter via the hot shoe compatible slide (thank you DJI) to my mirrorless camera and connect the included short and simple 3.5mm cable between my camera and the transmitter. I attached the lavalier microphone via the magnet clip to my shirt and was recording. I didn't have to use or set up the app first or anything. It worked right out of the box. I love the fact that there is a mic gain controller right on the transmitter so you can turn the gain up and down as needed. This is very convenient instead of having to go into the sound settings to adjust volume in camera. The sound quality is exceptional and the noise cancellation is also exceptional. The omnidirectional mics on the lavalier microphones are truly amazing. Little to no distortion and thanks to the included wind screens, wind noise is very well controlled. The transmitter boasts 5 hours of continuous recording time but with the case, you can get a good 15 hours of time out of the Mic Mini which is excellent and way more than I will ever need in a single setting. The range on the Mic Mini is very impressive advertising up to a 250 meter range between the mic and the transmitter. I will personally never use this amount of range but it is very impressive and I’m sure there are folks out there who will appreciate the impressive transmission range. With the excellent portability, battery life, sound quality, and transmission range, I can't really think of any negatives or downsides to the DJI Mic Mini. This isn't shocking as most DJI products exceed my expectations. If you are looking for a portable small lavalier microphone system for your content creation needs, I highly recommend the DJI Mic Mini.

Love it!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked up the DJI Mic (Mini) Wireless Omnidirectional Microphone System because I needed something compact, reliable, and hassle-free for recording on the go. After using it for a bit, I can say it does the job well—though it’s not without its quirks. Build & Design This thing is small. Really small. If you’re used to bulkier wireless mic systems, this will be a breath of fresh air. It clips on easily, stays put, and doesn’t feel like it’s going to snap in half. The charging case is a nice touch—throw it in your bag, and you’re good to go. Sound Quality For a mic this size, the audio is surprisingly good. It picks up voice clearly and doesn’t muffle like some cheap lav mics. Background noise reduction is decent, but if you’re in a really loud environment, you’ll still need to clean it up in post. It’s not studio-level, but it’s more than enough for vlogging, interviews, or Zoom calls where you need to sound better than a laptop mic. Wireless & Battery The connection is rock solid. No weird dropouts or lag, and it pairs instantly. Range is good—as long as you’re not wandering too far. Battery life is about 5-6 hours, which is fine for most uses. You’re probably charging it at the end of the day anyway. Ease of Use DJI made this stupidly easy to use, and I appreciate that. No complicated setup, just turn it on and go. Works with cameras, phones, and laptops without any extra nonsense. If you hate fiddling with settings, this is perfect. The Trade-offs It’s not perfect. Audio might need a bit of tweaking in post if you’re really picky. Also, if you need a ton of customization, this isn’t it—there’s no deep EQ or gain control. And while the wireless range is solid, it’s not infinite. Bottom Line: Worth It? If you need a dead-simple, compact wireless mic that just works, this is a solid buy. Great for content creators, podcasters, or anyone who needs better audio without a lot of hassle. If you’re expecting top-tier pro audio, look elsewhere—but for the price and convenience, it’s hard to beat. Would I buy it again? Yep. Would I rely on it for a high-stakes recording session? Maybe not. But for day-to-day use, it’s a no-brainer.

Great, but a couple issues
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We were able to use this for a good dozen plus hours this weekend. The quality is very good and picked up well. Very few issues with excess noise like shirt rubbing or static. The size is simply amazing and the mics are minimalistic. It gives both a clip and a magnet for attachment. Both worked very well. Overall it would have been a 5 star but there are two major gripes. First the button placement on the mic itself is an issue. The connection button is located directly next to the power button. Multiple speakers disconnected the mic or did not power it on when needed because of this (even when explicitly instructed) Second, there is no input verification or volume level shown on the mics. Multiple times I had to tune in to live stream to check volume levels or even if it was on.

Does the job RELIABLY
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a content creator and aspiring filmmaker, I’ve used several wireless mic systems in the past, but the DJI Mic Mini completely blew me away. The form factor is incredibly compact and perfect for run-and-gun shooting. I love that the transmitter and receiver both fit snugly into the charging case—super convenient and travel-friendly. Setup is effortless. The system paired instantly with my camera, and the compatibility with both cameras and phones is a big plus. I tested it with my iPhone and Sony mirrorless, and in both cases, the audio was clean, natural, and surprisingly rich for its size. What really sets this mic apart is the omnidirectional pickup. Even when I wasn’t directly facing the mic, my voice was still clear and well-balanced. It handled windy conditions better than expected too, especially with the included windscreen. Battery life was solid as well—I got through multiple takes and an entire filming session without having to recharge. If you’re looking for a mic that delivers professional-grade audio without the bulk or hassle, this is a no-brainer. Whether you're vlogging, interviewing, or working on documentary-style content like I am, this mic gets the job done and then some. 10/10 would recommend.

Mic mini for new content creators.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My girlfriend and I have recently gotten into content creating and after doing some research I settled on giving these a try. After a few test videos we couldn’t be happier with the purchase. The sound quality is excellent and a lot of unnecessary background noise gets cancelled out really well. Battery life is great and the small size makes them feel practically weightless when clipped to your shirt. The magnetic clip is pretty strong as well and it never felt like they were going to fall off. We also have the DJI action pro 5 and these pair wonderfully with the camera. The range and sound quality did not disappoint. We tested it out over various distances and it sounded like she was standing right next to me each time. These are a must have if you are considering getting the action pro as well. You will thank me later.

Compact with Stable Connecrtions
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This DJI Mic Mini bundle comes with all the essentials needed to outfit your phone or camera with up to two microphones that are sure to capture more direct audio than the device’s internal microphone. I love how easy this is to use, it’s nearly plug and play. The charging case is great for organization and an extra boost of battery if needed. As a content creator, I can use these mics in so many ways! I use my phone a lot to record review footage and I can even see myself using these as a quick podcast mic option while on the road. I’m really looking forward to taking these to theme parks and getting good use out of the wind screens. Things I really liked were that each piece is lightweight, the mic magnets are really strong, and there is an organized place for every piece. All items stay in place neatly both during production and when packed away. Overall, I’m pretty satisfied with the DJI Mic Mini kit. I’ve been using it for days and I’ve never lost connection between the transmitter and receiver. Both the microphones and receiver are lightweight, so neither is going to be cumbersome to hold whether on a shirt or connected to a DSLR. These microphones have multiple wearing options - either attach with the clip or the magnet, great for different filming scenarios. The receiver has its own gain knob, by default set to 0, allowing you to set it to 12, 6, 0, -6, or -12. How Well Does Everything Work? The audio quality is good, especially for being a compact, wireless mic option, but I find it ever so slightly mumbly sounding at times. As far as physical aspects, all the pieces feel high quality and all accessories click into place securely - this is important when the gear is so small. I got a glimpse of how the Automatic Limiting works to prevent audio clipping - I’m pretty sure I had the gain up. I noticed on one of the recordings using my Canon R50, the volume of our voices would reduce, but it was catching the background tv noise really well when voices were silent. I could audibly hear how the audio was reducing its volume to prevent distortion. I had a moment of audio cut out (about 1 full second on a phone recording) but I attribute this to low battery as this was right out of the box before I charged it. Since I gave it a lengthy charge, I haven’t heard the audio break again. Portable and Organized The 2 transmitters, 1 receiver, and USB-C phone adapter have their own spots in the charging case. The receiver has green indicator lights showing an established connection with each mic (aka transmitter). Outside the case, the items are on unless you press the buttons to turn them off. You can choose to store the mobile phone adapter in its dedicated compartment in the charging case or directly mounted on the receiver. There are two of these adapter spaces in the case, note that this kit comes with one Type-C adapter. The other accessories that come with this kit, like the 4 wind screens and audio cable, can be stored in the included carrying pouch. Inside the pouch you’ll see two small pockets, this is where I store the audio cable, and a zipper compartment where I store the wind screens and the receiver’s mount cover, which is super tiny. Digital Camera & Phone Connection As far as using a digital camera, it was essentially plug and play - very easy to hook up to a Sony a6500 and Canon R50. The receiver is technically wired to the device but the mics are wireless. I used the USB-C adapter to connect with my Google Pixel 9. Phone connections are typically on the bottom so when using a tripod, I had to find a mount with enough clearance for the connected receiver. Once I open the phone camera app, I go to the video settings to make sure the audio is coming from the wired connection and not the phone mic itself. I love being able to get dedicated phone audio, it’s truly such a portable solution.

This is the Mic Mini you're looking for!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.DJI does it again! I fell in love with DJI over a year ago when I got the Pocket 3 Creator Combo that came with the Mic 2 (also a magnificent microphone!), that led me to picking up the Action 5 Pro when that came out, and now the Mic Mini! DJI took the core features of the Mic 2, squished the size down to a little more than a US Quarter, and kept the magnetic mounting clip. The only downside of the Mic Mini being so tiny is there is no room for a USB-C port on the transmitter, not a problem if you have the charging case, but the single pack requires using the included charging base. An easy enough solution, but less elegant than the charging case. Each microphone transmitter is capable of Bluetooth directly to your phone and DJI OSMOAudio for an easy, direct, receiver-free connection to DJI OSMO devices. The receiver allows for longer range and more flexible connections to older devices, traditional cameras, smartphones, and computers via USB-C and a traditional 3.5 mm TRC cable. The receiver also has a built-in dial for gain adjustments on the fly without having to go into setting on your camera or DJI's MIMO app! Sound quality is excellent; in high winds, indoors, with a lot of electronic signals around, using OSMOAudio, USB-C, you name it! The only feature I wish this had that the Mic 2 has is 32-bit float to help minimize noise, but the transmitter & receiver combo does a great job at minimizing noise from surrounding electronics and the environment (like Wi-Fi and air vents) when connected via USB-C. Overall, I would absolutely recommend the DJI Mic Mini system! If you're a creator that exclusively uses your phone or you have a DJI OSMO Pocket 3 or Action 3/4/5 Pro: get the single transmitter or 1 TX & 1 RX combo but if you're using. If you're using a mix of cameras, phones, DJI, GoPro, Sony, etc: get the full kit with the charging case and USB-C adapter. My advice on one not included but offered for sale accessory... DO NOT GET THE LIGHTNING ADAPTER UNLESS YOU HAVE AN OLDER IPHONE THAT YOU PLAN ON KEEPING FOR A WHILE!

Small, Lightweight, Easy to Use, it’s brilliant.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.WHAT I LIKE: - Charging case is small and compact. Has a press to open latch. Which holds 2x transmitters, 1x receiver, 2x smartphone adapters (USB-C included, lightning sold separately), 3.5 mm TRS cable, and windscreens. The latch is super satisfying to open and everything lights up when it happens to notify you the charge and everything is working. Each accessory has its own spot, is held down by magnets so it doesn’t fall out, and has a pogo pin for wireless charging. USB-C to charge the case itself which they report adds 48 hours of operation. Awesome stuff. - Each transmitter has a magnet attached to it. So you can either magnetically attach it to your person or location or use the included clip. - Very lightweight (each transmitter is 10 grams) and the receiver is small and light too. - Very easy to use. Just take the transmitter and receiver out where they auto connect to each other (are buttons on the side to manually connect and power on/off). Make sure the receiver is plugged into whatever you want to record to. Make sure the correct transmitter is selected on the recording device and you’re set. - “Automatic limited to prevent clipping” actually works really well. Where if you are quite it increases the gain, if you are talking loud it reduces the game. I didn’t get any peaking when I was testing and using it. Additionally, on the receiver you have a gain knob (0 +/ – 6 db, and +/- 12 db) which feels very satisfying. - Two mode noise cancelling. First is no light on the transmitter, then with a single press to the transmitter you get a yellow light meaning it has stronger noise cancelling. Love how easy it is to turn on/off. - Very long transmission. Easily can go into different rooms without problems. And outdoors can go very far. - The softcase is excellent. Feels very nice. Has a zipper inside to store charging cable and windscreens. Also, has dedicated pockets without zippers for the windscreens but thought that was just asking for me to lose them. Along with holding the entire charging case. - From the spec sheet 5-min quick charge gives 1 hour. Along with 10-ish hours per charge. Seems great. With auto-power saving and auto-shutdown with inactivity. - Does work with Osmo Action 5 Pro, Osmo Action 4, and Osmo Pocket 3 natively. WHAT I DON’T LIKE: - No internal recording. Meaning must be plugged into a separate device. - No way to turn down the green light. Which can be distracting if wearing on clothing. Simple fix is just putting it on the inside of your shirt. - I really enjoy the sound. It fits with my voice profile. Seems like the natural turning is a bit more “fun” and a has good bass. But may be dependent on your voice. Great for creators (YouTube or similar) but probably not good enough quality for full on professional gigs. Not sure how it compares to the competition around the same price point.

Seamless Audio Solution
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The DJI Mini Mics are a fantastic addition to any content creator’s toolkit. Despite their compact size, they deliver crystal-clear audio that rivals larger, more expensive microphones. Whether you’re recording interviews, vlogs, or live streams, these mics capture sound with impressive clarity and minimal background noise. The wireless range is excellent, ensuring consistent audio even when you’re moving around or working in dynamic environments. They’re incredibly easy to set up—just plug in the receiver, and you’re ready to go. The battery life is another standout feature, lasting long enough for extended shoots without interruption. I also appreciate their lightweight and portable design, which makes them perfect for on-the-go recording. Paired with other DJI gear, such as a drone or gimbal, these mics elevate the overall production quality to a professional level. If you’re looking for a reliable and compact audio solution, the DJI Mini Mics are a worthy investment. Highly recommend!

Do You Want Clear Audio?
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is what I have been looking for. Trying to record good clean audio from some mirrorless cameras can be tricky. I didn't want a big microphone. The DJI Microphone Mini delivers on that. You get everything inside a box. This is great for traveling because it can fit anywhere. If you have a travel case for your camera, it can fit in there. You get everything you need inside the package. It's as simple as plug-and-play. There are multiple ways to connect the microphone and transmitter. You can use Bluetooth, an audio jack, and USB-C. The transmitter has a USB-C attachment. So you can get audio from a phone, camera, or anything via USB-C. The transmitter doesn't stick out that much. So no worry about hitting it on objects. The audio quality is superb. It was extremely clear. You get gain level adjustments as well. For such a small microphone you get amazing clear audio. You will be amazed at how good the audio sounds. Another benefit is the range of the microphone and transmitter, which is pretty long. So you can go a good distance and still hear the audio. The device itself is small and clips onto a shirt. It's so small you can lose them if you drop them. The only negative is the device doesn't record external audio. So you need a device to connect to in order to capture the audio. This isn't a bad thing for me. It makes it more user friendly and anyone can use this. It is that simple and easy. This has to be one of the best ways to capture audio for a camera. Without paying too much and having a big microphone.

Excellent recording quality
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These microphones are easy to use, only with the app and with that it is ready to be used, the best thing is that you can connect them via Bluetooth in case you do not bring the receiver, 10/10 sound quality, good sound cancellation and good battery performance..

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the DJI Mic Mini Combo and was blown away by the sound quality. It’s lightweight, compact, and incredibly easy to set up — I was recording within seconds. The audio comes out clean and crisp, even in outdoor environments, and the noise-cancelling feature really helps when shooting on the go. Battery life is excellent, and the wireless range is impressive, allowing me to record from a good distance without any dropouts. The kit includes everything you need to start using it with your camera or phone, and the build quality feels solid and reliable. Pro level audio made really easy! and affordable!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I'll start by saying that I've been shooting video (like an amateur) with just the built in microphones of my cameras and phones for some time now. I bought a "shotgun" mic once but never really used it because I thought it was still too large for my liking and I felt like it didn't really improve the sound quality by a whole lot... Fast forward to today and whoa has wireless technology with microphones really advanced. Specifically.. DJI .. they are really doing some cool things with cameras and microphone technology. I'd like to give them a huge shout out and thank you for pushing technology into the future when it comes to camera gear. This is the first wireless set up I've ever used and I am really impressed with this set up. I happen to own a Osmo Pocket 3 ( which is an amazing little video camera) and these microphones pair with it so easy and seamlessly. You can pair one or both simultaneously. Which is perfect for those of you who might do podcasts and or interviews. You can hand one to your guest and record crisp audio. Personally, I like to record myself playing my electric guitar. And the DJI Mic Mini is such a useful tool for that. I lay the mini mic right in front of my guitar amp and pair it to my Osmo Pocket 3 and start recording. It is a game changer. My electric guitar sound so clean, the powerful tones of my high gain amps are recorded nicely with this microphone. When listening back on my MacBook Pro the audio sounds so good. It picks up and records the chugs of my guitar like a champ. These microphones are definitely pro quality. Of the handful of microphones I've used in the past.. these are by far THE BEST I have ever heard. You can feel the rumble of the guitar when recorded with this microphone. If you want to use this to record vlogs, podcasts, interviews, unboxing videos or even just to make "home movies" and record daily life. You will absolutely love these microphones. They are just so easy to use. Even if you don't own a DJI Osmo Pocket or Action Cam, you can use the included receiver to connect it to a mirrorless camera, or your cellphone if it has a USB C port. I have an "old" iPhone, so I haven't been able to test that adapter for it, but connecting this to my mirrorless camera was easy. You can clip the receiver to your strap with the clip or use the hotshoe (which most modern dslr / mirrorless cameras have) and then connect the included 3.5mm cable to your microphone input. You can also pair both microphones to the receiver simultaneously and have dual microphones for recording with your camera. Voices sound very nice, "full" and crisp. You can clip the microphone to an article of clothing or use the included magnets to wear them. I feel like the magnets are more secure, the magnets are quite strong. DJI was cool enough to include 4 "dead cats" that you can put on the microphones to damped wind and other ambient noise when recording outdoors or in a not so quiet indoor environment. I haven't felt the need to use them much though because the active noise cancellation is just so good. When I record videos at home with these microphones, you couldn't even hear all the noise our upstairs neighbor was making. The microphones did a fantastic job of focusing in on our voices and dampening a lot of the ambient sounds in our apartment. I could ramble about these all night but take my word for it when I say that if you have been looking for a wireless microphone setup for your camera or smart phone.. I promise you that you will absolutely love these. These are a game changer. The included charging case will give you 48 hours of use. DJI also includes a very cool carrying bag for the case and included accessories. Build quality is very premium. Everything from the case, the dead cats, the microphones all scream high quality. The dead cats even have a really cool clip that quickly and easily snaps onto the microphones. Would I recommend these? Absolutely. If you are recording any type of videos with camera gear ( or even your smart phone) Having pro level audio is made easy with this DJI kit. Your video quality will improve 100% by using these amazing microphones.

Great Mics
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a wireless microphone for my video captures and did some research. The DJI - Mic Mini Wireless Omnidirectional Microphone System was in my budget and looked like the best option. I have used other products from DJI, and really like their designs and functionality. These mics works flawlessly. They are easy to setup and the sound quality is amazing for the price. The the use time is great. The case is well design, sturdy, and compact. My only complaint would be the windscreens. While getting two styles with the mics is great. Adding them to a mic can be challenging, especially if it is cold outside and my fingers are a little numb. Other than that, these mics are great. I would recommend these to nyone looking for a wireless mic system.

DJI mics are pretty good
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pretty good mic. The only thing that I don’t like are the amount of different ways I have to press a button to make different modes operate. Also when Bluetooth is connected to my phone I cant turn voice isolation on and off but the sound is amazing. The mics are durable, pick up pretty far out and you truly have a blast when creating with them.
