Ehh it’s ok
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing has some pretty cool features but all in all it’s a lil bit hokey to be honest. I’ve probably only used it 3 times since I’ve bought it

Awesome Features
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The OM4 is an improvement over the OM3 but the improvements have to be felt more than they can be seen. The clamp is gone. The magnet is awesome. Quick tip: for better grip, remove your phone cover. If you have only used a stick before this will blow you away, perhaps. First: DOWNLOAD the APP. That has so many goodies you can use. The effects are awesome specially for the first time user. Second: Everything else. Set up etc. It's quite easy actually. The features you should try: Tracking: is quite impressive. It may not be the Sony mirrorless camera level of tracking but it does a great job. I tried it out in public and the people were looking at me quite quizzically. Face tracking gets 5 stars for a phone gimbal. Glamour Shots: Fun Fun Fun. I am a man. It was quite fun indeed as I have never really felt the need for Glamour shots. I tried all sorts of settings that were fun to use but probably not acceptable if you are seriously into glamour shots. My wife loved it. Enough said. Tinker with the settings and you will love it as well. Dyna-zoom: If you have used a proper drone you will know what I am talking about. If you have not, well, you will be pleasantly surprised. Honestly, this is not the best rendition of Dyna-Zoom from DJI (in my honest opinion) but it is still very nice for a gimbal meant for your phone. You may be able to hear yourself running around in the background and the video may not be as smooth but the experience is worth it for your phone. Selfie-stick comes nowhere close to these functionalities. CloneMe Pano: 5 stars for a phone. If you have used your camera to do this in the past, the ease of this in this rendition may surprise you. Try it and you may not be disappointed. The gimbal will lead the phone to track you and you can move around and take 3 successive pictures with different postures and the software will stitch everything together to create a picture of you with all the different postures in one frame. Note: If you have never used something like this in the past and have only ever used a selfie-stick, please do not worry about the movement of the phone on the axis. It is not meant to be static. It simply adds a lot of functionalities to the gimbal. Please do not push or prod the axis hoping to make the thing more rigid. Ease of use is good. The buttons are all visible nicely and located where they should be. You can zoom in and out, take still pictures, shoot video and all that. The tripod can be helpful if needed. The gimbal folds down nicely as well. Again, download that app first. It is the heart of this set-up. If you are into regular YouTube and Instagram postings then this is a best buy for you. It will do a lot for you and then some. If you just want to have fun with family and friends and want an easy set-up for that vacation, then this will be a great addition to your system. Suggestion: Can customers register using their Apple or Google accounts instead of creating one more account separately with Mimo? Saves time and helps to use the same credentials.

Nice unit
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love it! Works well for the times I’ve used it. Haven’t had too much time yet but I’ve noticed a few times have to recalibrate via the app but over all very satisfied with it so far!

More useful than I thought
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Seriously useful product, if for nothing else video chatting at home. Calibration is simple. The only gripe, full function is only available through their wrap and no cross-app integration.

Nice
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this selfie stick for my son for Christmas. He needed it for a web page he runs. He loves it and it meets all of his needs. I thought it was pricy but he said it's worth it.

Amazing product for the price.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely satisfied with this product. Simple to setup and operate. Not as impressed with the associated app. Filmic Pro app seems to be a better choice to complement the OS4.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great product! Charge time and use is really amazing. The more videos you watch to get better angles the better your shots get. 100% recommended. The tripod is a bonus.

A Great tool for my photos and videos
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I do a lot of hiking using my DJI Osmo Action camera, but it wide angle only. Now with the DJI OM 4 I can get steady on the go zoom shots with my Samsung 10e cell, all bought at Best Buy!

Size Size Size! Size does matter.
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.By far this is one of the best gimbals on the market. It has all of the bells and whistles. The only downfall is size! It's huge. It can't even fit in my pocket. Thank God, Skinny Jean fashion is over because this won't fit in your skinny jeans. If they could make it half the size and weight, this would be an amazing product to carry around. The best phone gimbal is the one that you can carry with you at all times so you could whip it out and record the video right away. The other downfall is Price! If you could get this under $115, it would be a great deal.

a Few small problems
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the actual product but at first this can be very difficult to use. The directions show it is much easier than actual. Magnet holds really really well and folds up perfect.

Good product
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The joystick can be a little slow on tracking. The zoom is either very sensitive or very slow to respond. Tracking is fairly decent.

Fun, learning curve
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the first phone gimbal I’ve ever used and on the whole I really like it. The magnetic clip makes the whole process of attaching the phone in the proper place dead simple. The hardware seems very well built and should last for years to come. The battery for the gimbal itself will easily outlast the battery on your phone, no problem. When you do need to charge it you can grab any USB-C charger and you’re good to go. Charges quickly, too. If you just want to smooth out your videos then you are well covered and it’s easy to get up and running. But to do nearly anything else will require multiple trips to the manual. The trigger and even the power button have several functions each. Press the power button once and it’ll show you how much battery is left on the gimbal. But it doesn’t turn the gimbal on. To do that you have to HOLD the power button down. (Shouldn’t those functions be swapped??) Want to switch from portrait to landscape? Tap the power button twice. The trigger button has I think four or five functions depending on how many times you press or hold the button. The whole concept just isn’t very intuitive. I’ll say the same for DJI’s app. It’s nice that they include tutorial videos (because you’ll need them), but there are some things like finding the gimbal settings and shooting mode (follow, spin shot, etc.) still have me fumbling around trying to remember where those menus are. I’ll get the hang of it over time, and again, you can use the basic functions of the gimbal with ANY camera app, but DJI could stand to work on making all of this a little more user-friendly, in my opinion. And then in spit of all the different functions each hardware button has, there are some things like spin shot that can only be turned on via the app. That seems silly; anybody who buys this is going to want to immediately test out that spin shot! Would sure be nice to just turn it on by completing some hardware button combination. That aside, I do like a lot of the extras this gimbal can do. The “clone me” panorama feature is really fun to play with and extremely simple to use. The time lapse capabilities are really cool, with the ability to set multiple waypoints for the camera to move to as its recording the time lapse, creating silky smooth pans and tilts. The Hitchcockian dynamic zoom thing is okay, if a bit gimmicky. Worse, I just haven’t be able to create one that results in footage that’s anywhere near as smooth or clear as the examples they show in the app tutorial. Digital zooms on cell phones generally look like crap, so I’m not sure how they’d improve that. Still, I’m game to give it a few more attempts to see if I can make a decent one. Most important thing with a gimbal, in my opinion, is its ability to create stedi-cam like footage while in motion. For the most part, the DJI delivers. There are times where I can definitely see camera shake in the footage when walking, but is it the gimbal or the user? It’s so hard to tell. I’m inclined to think it’s me, but that just adds to the overall feeling I have that the learning curve with the entire DJI experience is somewhat high. As for the ability to track a subject automatically (by selecting it with your finger on the screen), well... I’m disappointed. It’s easily thrown by even slightly fast motion in my experience, even when stationary in tripod mode and just walking in and out of frame. I tried following my dogs and forget it. Lost them at first sprint. Here’s the thing - my phone (the Google Pixel 3, which still has one of the best cell phone camera systems ever) isn’t officially listed on the supported devices list. Is that part of it? No clue. I don’t really think so. All the features work and generally work well, with the exception of this auto tracking. I’ll keep playing with it though! Could very well be something I’m doing or not doing that’s getting this result. At the end of the day, it’s fun to play with, relatively inexpensive, and could theoretically be improved over time with software updates. The hardware’s great, the app’s decent, and it actually makes me want to get better at using it instead of just frustrating me and turning me off from the whole thing. But it’s good to know what you’re getting into before buying. Patience is a must!
