My previous experience was with an older gimbal that was about a foot long and didn't work well with heavier phones. This little guy, on the other hand, is very compact and folds down into a nearly pocketable size. Unfolding it feels a little scary, like it might break, but I don't think it'll happen. It also handles my Galaxy S21 Ultra's size and weight with no problems.

I love it still to this day!!!! It works well and has the latest updates!!!!!

I saw DJI was releasing this and bout it that day. Gimbals are awesome, but they are also very particular when setting up, just follow the instructions and be patient. After 3 -4 uses, I was able to nail it down on the first try. I have used this on a few behind the scenes shots for work and it yields some pretty awesome results.

Great gadget for volgs and selfies. I really like the follow me feature. Very easy to use.

Thankfully was able to use this with another device but did not work with my Samsung Ultra 22... very disappointing because, yes the phone is larger, but i bought the phone for the recording and picture quality, only to run into many phone gimbals being not compatible. Like I said, it worked fine with another phone, my partner's samsung galaxy, but check compatibility beforehand

I was impressed with just how easy it was to start using this gimbal straight out of the box with my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. I haven't had any issues and videos turn out clear, smooth and easy to watch playback of. Selfie stick is a little awkward but works without any issues. Would recommend to others looking for a handy cell phone friendly gimbal.

No need to cover what others have said. Just wanted to drop that I have a Pixel 6 Pro and it works. I don't know about the app from the Play Store (I heard it doesn't work), but if you scan the barcode inside the packaging and install the APK file directly from DJI, it works. I have it 4 stars because the magnetic clip that goes on the phone is not wide enough to securely hold the phone while inside a phone case (I'm using a Spigen Wallet Case). It will securely hold the phone if you take it out of the case. Annoying for sure. But even with the case on, the motors have no problem moving the phone around (I think the phone weighs around 270g with case, so it's below 290g limit). Hopefully they make a new magnetic clip that can handle a wider phone (probably another 3/4mm specifically for this phone), but more for future proofing.
