I have a pricey camera, but just not simple or portable enough even though it’s pretty small, but not small enough or simple enough as DJI Osmo action is. Ive been looking into this camera since it’s release, but there were too many issues with it, until now that most of them were addressed by software updates. I had GoPro Hero 7 Black, I hated it, and gave it away, so I knew that no point of picking up GoPro Hero 8. I’m glad I went with DJI Osmo Action.

I bought this for a vacation to Alaska and loved it. Very easy to use, stability is nice, and a very nice build quality.

Perfect camera for moto vlogging! The rocksteady feature works perfect, video quality is at professionally level.

I just feel like DJI can’t do any wrong. I love all their products. When I needed this like at the drop of a hat and didn’t have the time to order from DJI Best Buy stepped in and I am so glad they had it. The main difference I notice between this and the GoPros are the stabilization factor which depending on the type of footage you are looking to present makes a difference.

This cam is AWSOME! Took my family to the Olympic game farm in Squime WA and got up close with the animals! The cam itself does wounders with the Rocksteady feature. 4k and uhd ties everything in together. Guys, best bang for the buck! Highly recommended. You can buy 2 of these for the price of 1 gopro9 and still compete with it. Many more adventures await this action cam!

It took a little getting used to coming from a Hero, but if you read the instructions and watch the tutorial, you should be good. The value for the money I paid is excellent and I did not lose any function vs buying a more costly unit. I had fun using it and the attachments on a GoPro are the same minus the waterproof housing. I am a DJI convert.

The DJI Osmo Action is a GREAT camera for a beginner. Really easy to use and takes great video. I would definitely recommend.

They say this camera is waterproof, and it is, but you also really need to clean and dry it thoroughly the moment you take it out of the water. Took this in the ocean with my kids for one hour, and by that evening there were calcium deposits on the microphone and rust in the compartment that holds the SD card. Still works, but waiting for it to fail at any time.

With better features against the GoPro 8/9, this little bad boy packs great power, the dual display has been very useful, and with the firmware updates the camera keeps getting better. it has everything you need for capturing your moments. impressive video stabilization.. you won't be disappointed

The front screen is super helpful! Good battery life. Easy to use and navigate!

At the time of this review I have only done some test videos and adjusted the settings. Be aware when you buy this you will need a smart phone to activate it. Also if you want instructions on use you will need to down load the DJI Mimo app, this app also allows you to adjust setting from your iPhone. If you do not own a smart phone you can have anyone activate it for you but you will not have the features that are included with the Mimo app. If you wish to shoot 4K you will need at least a U3 Micro SD card with a write speed of at least 100mbps.

Bought for my daughter. She wanted a camera for her birthday, when she asked if one could do video too. I went for the action cameras not only to surprise her gaining both abilities, but also for ruggedness and waterproof. I have a GoPro Hero 9, I gotta say this really may give them a run for the money

Until buying this action camera I had done a lot of work. All action cameras have both benefits and disadvantages. To sum up, the DJI Osmo Action 4 K was the best option on an action camera for what I want. This purchase was highly affected by my previous experience with DJI products. It'd be cool if this camera interacts with my DJI Osmo Mobile 3 (for auto tracking, etc.) but that's definitely not a positive thing.
