Great action cam alternative to GoPro. Shoots in 4K, has steady shot (RockSteady) and compatible with all GoPro mounts. It cam out a year ago and has been compared to GoPro 7 Hero Black, as well as the most recent GoPro Hero 8 Black, with most review on YouTube favoring the DJI. Can't go wrong, especially when paired with DJI Mavic drones.

I've always held out on action cameras for the main reason that I really didn't think they could hang with my bigger mirrorless and DSLR's. However, This camera has been both incredibly easy to use as well as very capable in post with its HDR function. I have two of these now and they have added loads of value to my production company. I have heard issues of it not being completely waterproof. I would only recommend that DJI fix the battery door, as it is a bit tricky to make sure its completely closed. I would advise that if you do use this thing to underwater on a family vacation- lock the screen to either be filming you from the front or back- and also double/triple check that you've fully locked the battery in place. Otherwise you will most likely be facing water damage. To damage proof you buy a waterproof case. Other than that, this has been incredibly easy to use. It has never overheated despite filming close an hour continuously as an overhead "drum cam" for a punk concert I recently filmed. I recommend this camera!

Good product, waterproof is a plus. 4K video is great.

It has three great features: 1) it has a front screen which makes framing super simple, 2) it has 4k60 with rocksteady and 3) it has hdr. Downside is that hdr is not 4k60 and rocksteady is not available on hdr either. The video with hdr has so much more highlight and shadow recovery and although I can live with 4k30 there, having rocksteady would be a big plus. Maybe the next version will do. On sale this is good value.

Great camera to capture a variety of different styles. From Hyperlapse, slowmo, high resolution/fps, time-lapse, and capture those sweet action shots, the osmo can do it all. The front facing screen helps line up the shot and the variety of accessories get your creative juices flowing. Definitely recommend this camera.

Very reliable and won’t corrupt your memory or lose any footage you thought you recorded but no where to be found! Those are just a few things i hated when it comes to the GoPros but with this Osmo Action! It’s just as good and definitely better! For $200 nothing will beat that price!

This camera is great - will be even better when external mic adapter is available! I love the dual screens and the color is much better out of the box that my Hero3+ Black. This is my 4th DJI product (Spark, Osmo Mobile 2, Osmo Pocket) And each has been better than the last!

I love this little camera! It has so many easy to use features this is a must have camera! I have mine in a small rig frame and it seems to be indestructible! The pictures are of respectable quality for an action camera! Not perfect but still quite nice. Right now they are on sale for under $200.

Excelente definition, easy useful and amazing stabilization.

This camera has been great so far! No issues, the touch screen is more responsive than the big competitor. Image stabilization and quality have been impressive. Menus are intuitive and easy to navigate. I haven’t had it in the water yet, so I can’t comment on that. I gave 4 stars because there is no desktop app as of yet, only mobile. I’m definitely going to be watching what else DJI has up its sleeve!

The best action cam up to date. touch screen is far better than gopro. option to shoot in d cinelike and hdr. if you know what u doing then this camera give you great footage. for the price is hard to beat. action cam use for daylight, dont use to shoot indoor or at night. highly ecommend

I switched to Osmo after formerly being a GoPro owner. I was never super happy with my GoPro but the Osmo is super intuitive and easy to use. Very high quality and easy touch screen swipe menus and options. It's very quick to change from photo to video and I love the reverse camera screen.

This little portable camera is capable. I have used it with the suction cap attached to the outside of my car to capture some really kool footage while driving through yellowstone. For an old camera, it performs well.

Bought this to have a action camera. This little thing works great. The Rocksteady stabilisation is amazing and makes the picture look awesome. It shoots 4K video and is only a few inches wide. Must have for outdoor adventure, blogging and making memories

Price was much lower than GoPro. Considering GoPro had firmware issues, I decided to try the next best thing. Everything is comparable except action night scene. Highly recommended until GoPro put more effort in to fix their long, lagging firmware bugs.

Good camera. The video is outstanding. The lens gets a little warm during use, so be careful handling it. I bought to use on a motorcycle and in/on my car. Fits most Go Pro mounts. I chose this over a Go Pro because of price and I have had some DJI drones. Impressed with their steady cameras.

Unlike my much more expensive GoPro Hero 9, this DJI Osmo Action camera has proven to be extremely reliable and is easier to use. The audio quality is not as good as the hero 9; color science is different, not sure that it is better or worse.
