For being heavily reliant on mobile devices and not wanting to carry around a camera, this device will do what you need. And it feels good in the hand as well. I like the time lapse features best, but it is a decent stabilizer no matter which way you choose to use it. And being compact is a plus, even though I still won't walk around with this in a pants pocket.

i would give this product 5 stars but the software used to work the gimbal needs improvement. I have a note 10 plus and one of the things I need is zoom when I make videos. Dji mimo app does not zoom smoothly the note 10 plus. It jumps from 3x to 8x and nothing in between. I assume its a software issue that I hope the company will resolve soon. Besides that the gimbal works great and produces steady photos and videos.

I bought this so I can record parades and other events at the local theme parks. I got a chance to use it in November and had a blast using the gimbal. It was fairly easy, at least for me, to configure and start using. It was really fun to be able to record a parade and have the gimbal to stabilize my shot as well as to zoom in and zoom out on the performers.

This is my first gimbal and I’m happy with it, overall. I conducted a virtual Zoom tour this week in Central Park and it performed as I expected. I was told that there was very little jitter as I walked and it made carrying the phone for an extended time easy with no arm fatigue. I find the zoom wonky though; it does not work well for fine adjustments. At least I can use the zoom function manually using the phone.

I bought this DJI Osmo mobile three so I can use my iPhone to do video was it's a little bit different than what I've been used to but I think it's going to really work out great it really smooth out the picture makes it a lot more fun to work work wise I would recommend this to anyone that wants to make better video.

Makes filming properties a dream! no more shaky camera and I can even get some creative shots adding to the professionalism of my work! easy to store and charge. The only downside would be that the carrying case does not fit the tripod but it slides into the front pocket just fine.

This gimbal is easy to use once you get past the learning curve. If you have never used a gimbal it will probably take you a little trial and error to get used to how it works and to feel comfortable using it. Once I learned how to work it I enjoy using it to take pics and movies. The smooth, no shaking videos are really nice.

If you buy one thing to enhance your smartphone photography and video creation this should be it. Start and stop recording with a simple hand gesture. Actively track your face while walking. Love this. Adds the cinematic smoothness of an electromechanical gimbal and high end editing functions at an unbelievable price.

Hands down the best phone gimbal you can buy. The features for the price, battery life. Whisper quiet motors, everything is exactly what I could have hoped for in something like this, and one thing that always makes DJI stand apart is the fact that they actually design really decent apps to partner with their stuff that actually work and don’t crash (on an iPhone anyway). Haven’t once regretted the Osmo since I got it. Literally the only thing I wish I could change is the fact that you can’t fit your phone into the holder with any sort of case. And since I use a heavy duty Otterbox case, it’s kind of a pain constantly having to take my phone out when I want to mount it to the osmo. But I can see how the extra weight of cases could mess with the balance and such. Otherwise definitely a 10/10.

I bought this to replace my gen 1 DJI Osmo gimbal and this one is awesome. It collapses down very small, has a built in lithium battery with amazing life (12+ hours) and even can charge your device while you are using it. The features of this and the app that supports it are top notch. Definitely recommend.

I had purchased a Chinese gimbal a couple of years ago, just to start into the gimbal photography... It worked great but, after a year and a half, the cheap Zhiyun battery wouldn't keep a charge for 2 minutes. This Osmo 3 combo is amazing. Nice feel in your hand, and great customer support from DJI (one of the best gimbal manufacturers out there). I have their Mavic Mini drone, and for 18 months I haven't had a problem. Plus you can purchase DJI care and they will take care of any mishaps that occur. Be advised, though, that this gimbal is NOT flashlight capable (cannot tilt it down directly). You have to hold it sideways (as in a handlebar on a bike/motorcycle) for that to work. There are hundreds of videos online to help you navigate it, plus the DJI Mimo app is great to use. Has wonderful features (almost as good as the Apple/Android interface). Overall, this is some of the best bang for the buck you can get

I am a professional photographer/videographer and I've had a few gimbals for my iPhone, but never really used them for serious footage. When I saw the capabilities of the new iPhone 11 I figured it was time to upgrade from my Osmo Mobile 2 to the Osmo Mobile 3. THE GOOD... I'm amazed at the quality of the stabilization, and the DJI Mimo app makes it super easy to access all the cool features and even auto create stories. The auto tracking is now available just like it is on their drones, and it makes filming a breeze, even using it for capturing content of myself moving around vlog style without a second cameraman. The overall size and how small it packs down is ridiculous! It easily fits in a pocket now, and there is never a time when I leave it at the house because it's too cumbersome. THE BAD So far the only thing I've found wrong is a pretty specific issue to those of you utilizing a iOS 13 on an Apple iPhone 8 or newer and editing in Apple's Final Cut Pro 10 (FCPX). if you use the gimbal with apple's regular video app, everything works flawlessly, however if you utilize the DJI Mimo app, when you import the footage there is no audio. Check YouTube, there's a lot of information out there, but as of this post 12/13/19 there has yet to be a solution. I have figured out a work-around by transcoding before import, but hopefully soon, that time consuming issue will be resolved via software update. Bottom line is if you want to get buttery smooth footage from your phone, this is your guy. finally because the arms hve moved, you can now use an accessory microphone and have a true pro setup!

I purchased my first Osmo mobile 3 earlier in the year, as the pandemic forced so many of us to work from home and to communicate using video conferencing software. Since I was able to get better connectivity and image quality using my mobile phone, I needed something more reliable than propping the phone up in front of the computer, only to have it fall over during a call. The Osmo did the trick, providing a stable way to position the phone/camera in such a way as to avoid the typical "up-the-nose" view that is so common in conference rooms. What would be nice, would be tighter integration of the Osmo software with video conferencing apps like zoom, teams, ichat, skype, etc. The possibility of using the follow-function and automatic zoom would be great, especially when lecturing. Hopefully, DJI will make some progress in getting tighter integration of their sofware with iOS and Android to make this happen.

This is the best gimbal that I’ve tried out! It’s easy to connect and use. Just make sure you don’t have two devices with Bluetooth turned on , or your gimbal won’t activate. Everything is straight forward! And the price is great! It also comes with a carry case and a strap.

Easy to use. Haven't been able to get into all of it features yet. But I will say iPhone has more features than an android. I love it, but my s10 plus camera features should be equal. Thats on the software. Hardware is great, build quality excellent, and easy to use.

Purchased this item as a gift for my husband. After reading several reviews on other cheaper models, decided to spend a little more and I purchased this one. So glad that I did, as the quality of video is greatly appreciated and the ease of use/set up as well.

I bought this item looking to step up my video quality, I use a iPhone XS Max and it makes the video quality so smooth, having the dji app makes this gimbal work flawlessly and it’s super easy to make cool clips. Definitely worth the money plus it’s super easy to operate

I purchased this Gimbal for a vacation I recently went on. I posted the footage for friends and family on YouTube. They were blown away from the quality of the video. No shaking or vibration what so ever. Friends were asking me how did I get the footage to be so smooth.
