I am pleased with the action of the unit. It powers on easily and with a little practice you off to record video shots or do instant streaming while maintaining a steady picture. There is a need for streaming software while operating the unit. I am told that is in the works.

We bought this for a vacation and all I can say is WOW! I thought the stabilization on my phone was adequate but this took it to a whole new level. Amazing features and an extremely smooth, professional quality video for even the most amateur person.

This works great for my purpose and shooting cars and videos for website. Easily able to follow the object and do walk arounds without the jumpy camera and the ease of a click. Smooth quality makes it look like you're using and expensive piece of equipment.

Together with the DJI Mimo app, it works great with the iPhone 11 pro. Smooth video results. Carry case is compact and well constructed. Lightweight enough so it doesn't fatigue your arm on a long shoot. All in all—a great product at a reasonable price.

Product works great. Easy to set up even for an old guy. I make short videos and send series of them to clients. I have not learned how to merge videos with add on app but will get there. Great device. Paid for itself quickly!

This is my first purchase of a gimbal. I researched many different ones and finally landed on this one. After a small amount of use I have to say it’s pretty user friendly. Setup is easy and the stabilization is great! Highly recommend!

    Better Then Osmo 2

The Osmo 3 has a few new features. The first obvious feature is it can now fold, which makes it much easier to transport and carry around. The other nice feature is how it mounts. You can now mount your phone and the charging port will not be blocked. Much easier to balance the phone too! The last new feature that I like with the Osmo 3 is it has a trigger! It makes working the Osmo 3 much easier. The only downfall for me, and hope it’s just a software update away, is the face tracking feature. I was hoping the Osmo 3 would do a better job then the Osmo 2 with face tracking, especially with sports (Football, Soccer). The DJI app only allows 3xs video zoom. I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max and wished the app would allow me to use the 6x’s video zoom. Maybe that would allow the Osmo 3 to do a better job at tracking? Other then that, the Osmo 3 is a great inexpensive product. Built well and works smoothly. If you’re into making videos, this is a great product to have.

Stunning results, compared to hand held video shots. Easy setup and use. Recently used at a New Years party, set it on its tripod, time lapsed the entire night and was able to easily capture the fun in a unique way. Great buy!

Simple, easy to use right out of the box. It takes a minute to figure out which way the arms go when you unfold it, but once you turn it on it snaps right into place. Small compact design is amazing. Very happy.

I bought this gimbal 'cause I like record my family but I no like carry one big camera ah. This buggah is perfect, the thing is small kine so fit in your pocket la dat. You can be at the beach, and you see one mayjah moment in the making then 1-2 boom kanani. You just flip and grip and bango, you stay recording like your unco kimo on the go. Good for small- medium phones, but if get one Note10 or something la dat you probably gotta take em out the case 'cause buggah stay too big. Get story mode, so you can make any kinda custom but preset video edit action. Idk too much about that, but garanz if you stay by the middle of the circle when they scrappin this buggah going make sure you catch these bangaz full action. Grab one la dat and all that auntie's going like take picture with you

The DJI Osmo Mobile 3 with stand is a nice thing to have to get smooth video recording. The movement of the Osmo is good, but may be a bit slow for some situations. The ability to track a person while recording video is a nice function to have as well. The battery life is excellent and it also allows you to use it as a charger via USB port. I ended up returning this product because I decided to go with a cheaper Joby 3k tripod and mount. The Joby tripod will simply provide more functionality for me. But if you are looking for a solid gimbal, don't hesitate to get the DJI Osmo 3. One thing to know if you use Filmic on iPhone, at the time of this post it was not supporting this gimbal but said they would be in the near future.

I am really enjoying using this gimbal. It seems to hold the phone steady and is easy to hold. I also enjoy most of the functionality using the DJI Mimo app. The only couple of issues/quirks are the following... 1) For some reason, using the DJI app, the video can get a bit jittery. This is a known issue that other have posted about. If you use other camera apps, it seems to work fine, so it is something with the DJI app. 2) I wish the gimbal would allow you to use it in “flashlight” mode. This is a common mode for most gimbals and works much better, IMHO, for catching low shots. Having to hold it sideways is a bit awkward. 3) It is a bit of a pain to have to fully balance it each time you want to use it. You start to get a bit of an idea on where the phone needs to go, but it still requires some time for balancing.
