I probably use this differently than most will but my sons wrestle and I’d always have to video with my phone but I’d have to watch the match live on my phone screen or risk them going out of frame. I got tired of that and bought the osmo 6 which was great but when the osmo 7P came out with the improved tracking I had to get it. I love it because it takes great smooth video and all I have to do is lock the tracking on my son and set the zoom that I want and let it go. Then I’m free to take photos or watch the match myself.

This is a fantastic option to create a steady video. I have used it for recording High School Lacrosse, and the results were pretty amazing. The tracking on this works well even with a crowded field, with players often grouping and ungrouping during scrums.

Its my first Gimbal and honestly… its been an awaome purchase! I love all the options it has. It does have a lot of options which is a little much at first but once you read more about it and watch some videos, its awwsome! Its 50/50 easy and hard to learn. But definitely worth learning how to use. And the DJI app also gives you load more options and settings with the gimbal. One major plus is that it comes with the AI tracking camera sensor that also includes a light which has a few options of brightness and color!

I’m really impressed with the DJI Osmo 7P. The stabilization is excellent and makes handheld videos look much smoother and more professional. What I like most is how quickly I can pull it out and start recording without wasting time adjusting too many settings. The tracking and movement feel very natural. The battery life has been good for my use, and the build quality feels premium. Overall, this is a great gimbal if you want smoother footage and a more polished look from your phone videos. I would definitely recommend it.

This is a wonderful piece of technology, but it isn’t as easy to use as I anticipated. I fly DJI drones and wanted a similar gimbal for stabilizing cell phone video—it does that well, but I find it a little challenging to frame shots. That makes sense, because that kind of work is done with the controller when flying a drone. Nothing wrong with it, but I’m just not good at it yet.

Best product my wife and I ever bought to make videos, photos easier. Totally recomened for those who wants to improve taking pictures and overall medio through your phones.

For the price this gimbal is worth it. I’ve tried the 4,7p and the 8. They all work good. My main focus was recording basketball games using the active track mode. The 8 works the best for tracking but still gets confused here and there because of multiple people. And hopefully DJI updates the app to have a pause button when recording.
