    While I love my DJI Osmo Pocket - I can't say I love the 1" small viewing screen when shooting. But with this accessorie and the DJI Osmo app I can connect wirelessly to my cell phone to view what I am shooting as well as what I just recorded. Unless you have the eyes of an eagle, this accessory is a MUST HAVE.

    If you like to leave your camera set up on a tripod and control the action from the comfort of a chair etc then this is a great tool.

    Albeit many other cameras already contain wifi capability built-in, perhaps the minute size of the Pocket may have something to do with it. It's a fine camera either way. As it stands, you now have to spend $60 to add wifi then another few bucks to be able to hold this with another 3rd party product which comes with a 1/4" tripod ferrule. DJI could have easily provided the ferrule on their Pocket holder but did not either. So 3rd parties are making those dollars instead.

    Unless I missed something, if you use this, you cannot use the adaptor to add a mike, etc. to this. So, it is GREAT for having the Osmo on a firm stand (instead of you holding it). You can attach this to a tripod (which I've done). I wish I had this when I shot several "selfie" narrations. Holding it in my hand was fine, and gives you that "person-on-the-street" look. Sometimes having this option is better, depending on the look and situation you are in.

    If you are looking to add wireless functionality to the Osmo Pocket, you have to purchase this accessorie. I use it with the Osmo Pocket extension rod. This allows for unique shots with my phone as the view finder and on board controls while filming with the Osmo Pocket on the end of the rid. It's more than an expensive selphie stick. For this to work seamlessly, you need the wireless adapter. Well worth it in my opinion.

    If you have Osmo Pocket, you need this base and all the expansion product included. The WIFI base is a great product to take panorama, or remote photo, video you want to do by using your smartphone with DJI Mimo.
